1. The crew they sent to PSL to do the work was try to finish as fast as the could and cut corners to get the job done. 2. When notified that there were problems the company sent Jason, their quality control person to look at the job. At this time it only need small amounts of sealant in some areas, but they chose to sand it down and reseal the deck. 3. The new sealant was put down so thick there was no grip left to the pool deck (skating rink) and bubbles started to form in the surface coating. 4, came back again, sanded the surface and sealed it again. If they had just fixed the first crews bad job the correct way, basically starting over, instead of playing whack a mole chasing issues, I wouldn’t be writing this review. There is no grip left to the deck after all the sanding. 3 people fell last night. The color is washed out because it’s been sanded to the original base We have rust from the pool deck coming through the product because of the poor quality of the original team. We have bubbles in the surface and 2 very sharp areas that have cut feet. No one will returns our calls I understand they have lost money on this job, but their original crew are the ones who set this in motion by not doing it correctly

We couldn’t be happier with the work that TruColors did. Here was our experience and why we highly recommend them. Rodney came out and gave us a detailed estimate fairly quickly after requesting one. He then spent over 45 minutes answering all questions that we had and making sure he had an understanding of what we wanted. He was extremely easy to talk to and never once made us feel as if he was just saying something to “seal the deal”. Which was refreshing as the other three companies we received quotes from had treated us much differently. Rodney was friendly and genuine from start to finish. I mean...he even left our dogs treats from a doggy bakery?! Super nice and knowledgeable guy! Made choosing them for the job a pretty easy decision. On the morning that they started the job, we were surprised to see an entire team show up! Usually, when hiring painters you expect two to three guys to show up in pick up trucks right? Nope. Not with TruColors. Nearly four vans (loved that the company name was on the van too) showed up and what looked to be a giant team of like 8 guys. It was easy to spot the lead painter right away, because he quickly organized the team as they walked the entire house and prepared. Angelo, the lead painter was just SO amazing. He was so organized and because of that, so was thee team and they worked so fast and efficiently. Angelo was very kind throughout the entire process! I can’t say enough nice things about him, he really was so respectful. He completely understood that our family wanted as little physical interaction as possible (Covid precautions) and communicated with us via phone/text several times during they day. He made it a completely stress free experience. I never questioned the work that was being done because it was obvious that Angelo was on top of everything. We saw him many times walking circles around the house, double/triple checking that everything was being done correctly. He’s one of the nicest, hardworking individuals that we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. TruColors really spent a lot of time protecting our windows, fixtures etc which we truly appreciated. Not only did they make sure that our property was well taken care of, but they went out of their way to make sure our neighbors were too! Before beginning the process, they asked our neighbors if they could put tarps over their cars! Very meticulous!!! All the workers were respectful of our property and everyone worked so hard to make sure that our house was prepped/painted seamlessly. They never left a mess, always cleaned up after themselves and worked extremely hard. They were very diligent when doing touch ups and left us with a home that looks brand new! It was obvious from the start that TruColors standards were just as high as ours and by the time they were finished with the job, there wasn’t a single spot on our house that we questioned the quality of. All their painters take pride in the work that they do, that much is very obvious. Our home looks amazing and TruColors have far exceeded our expectations. They set the bar high and certainly delivered on their promise. They made our house look “Spectacular” and we highly recommend them!

I was very pleased with this company's professionalism and the quality of the work. There were some initial hiccups just scheduling an estimate, but it was pretty smooth afterwards. Rodney Munce was the estimator and he understood clearly what I wanted done. Moreover, he ensured that everything he had verbally promised during the estimate was delivered by the company throughout the entire job. I confess I was a little anxious that we did not spell out every detail in the contract, but it turned out not to be necessary with this company. The overall job leader assigned to me was Demetrius Bell and I felt pretty fortunate to be working with him as well. The first team to show up was for pressure washing. I thought they were just going to pressure wash the walls to clean and knock off old and chipping paint. However, I was immediately stunned when the team also thoroughly pressure washed my roof and my sidewalk. Even in the pouring rain, these commandos were relentless in getting the job done. I think they even cleaned my mailbox too, no joke. They did such an amazing job, I called to see if Tru Colors has an annual service contract for pressure washing. Next, the stucco team came to chip off dated, embedded, decorative wall tile, replace rusting corner bead with plastic bead, and re-stucco the walls where the tile used to be. They did a beautiful job - I was amazed at how perfectly smooth it was. They also repaired some cracked stucco in other locations and seemed very diligent, pointing out where they found water and recommending thorough caulking of a window above one bad spot. Next, a team was sent to prep the house for painting. My two-story house is 30 years old, so there were old Direct TV dishes, old alarm and cable wires all over the place, miscellaneous bolts and nails, old rusted plant holders, and a bunch of other garbage affixed to my walls. Just as Rodney had initially promised, the team diligently removed every last item I wanted gone. More importantly, they did not accidentally remove the wires I wanted to keep! I thought for sure something would go wrong, but Tru Colors again came through. The team also spent hours carefully placing painter's tape around all windows, doors, and fixtures. The carpenter found some rotted fascia boards here and there, so I paid extra to have that replaced (which I expected). When I wasn't happy with the way the drip edge looked after a large piece was replaced in the back, Demetrius had the carpenter come back and re-do it. The carpenter seemed so upset that I wasn't happy, I genuinely felt bad for him, but it looked much nicer after after he redid it. Once we selected the paint colors, Demetrius took care of promptly getting all of the supplies. The painters did a phenomenal job. They even came back later to paint some doors that Rodney had promised me they would paint, even though they had to work around a different contractor's chaotic scheduling. Honestly, my house looks brand new now, and I feel these guys bent over backwards to make me happy, so there's not much more I can say as a customer. I will definitely hire them again, as the interior of my house needs a fresh coat in the near future as well.

Could not have gone better! Everyone who came to my home was polite and professional. They did an exceptional job all around. Very pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail.

Total waste of time, A guy named steve came out took measurements pictures - promised he will have Estimate by next day, well I'm Still waiting a week later. I called the office after 3 days the lady said she will remind him....... Still no Estimate.

Tru colors wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but they were the best value. They were truly professional from start to finish. The job was done perfectly, and we had some challenging areas to paint. Everything from prep to clean up was perfect. Very nice people to work with as well.

The two pressure techs arrived at 8AM and left at 6 PM and worked the entire time. They were detail oriented and cleaned everything around the house. Moved patio furniture and grills. Polite and happy to do the work. No issues. Will hire again.

We had 3 estimates done for the interior house-painting that we needed for our 3 bedroom/2 bath house. Paul from Tru-Colors took the time come to the site, do a thorough inspection and provide us with a quote very quickly. He even helped us with color choices. When we had some trouble deciding, he had samples made up for us so we could see how the different colors would look on the walls. It was a great help. The job itself went very smoothly. They arrived on time every day over the course of the job. The workers took strides to protect, cover and wrap every piece of furniture and surface. They cleaned the premises thoroughly when done. At the end of the day, you want a quality paint job, and that's what we feel we got. The walls and ceilings look exceptional, and it is very clear that the job was done by professionals. At the end of the job, there were some leftover "punch-list" items. They were nothing major, but little things like whether some shelves needed to be reinstalled or whether a TV mount needed to be removed. These types of things are to be expected in any job, so it wasn't all that surprising that we needed some minor carpentry and paint adjustments at the end of the engagement. To their credit, Tru-Colors had their workers come back a few times to handle these smaller matters until we were completely satisfied. We were very happy with our experience with Tru-Colors and would absolutely recommend them and work with them again.

Tru Colors Contracting was extremely professional. Paul came out and gave us and estimate and spent time with us and didn't rush us. Answered all of our questions. We had many of estimates from people we found on Angie's List, but Tru Colors came in with the best price not overcharging us and their work is incredible. Nano and his guys pay attention to the details that make your house truly stand out. They made sure we were happy with the job asking us along the way if we had any concerns or how we were liking the job so far. The pressure cleaning crew was also very professional and did a great job. My house, roof and driveway never looked better. Helen in the office was a true pleasure to work with! She answered all my questions along the way and made sure to keep us up to date with what was going on. Will be using them again in the future for other projects. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We used this company a few years ago before we moved and were very happy with them, so we called them again to paint this house. They did a fantastic job again!! The painters picked up everything at the end of the day, and were very meticulous. Helen also helped with the paint colors that I needed.

Tru-Colors did an excellent job as usual. The only painting company I would use. From Steve who coordinated the schedule to Dan and Rashad you couldn't ask for more professional people to work with. Highly recommend them.

The entire crew at Tru Colors was a pleasure to work with! From paint selection, to scheduling, power washing and job completion. Everyone was prompt, friendly and very thorough! They fixed some shoddy stucco repairs to make our house look even better! We had a few spots that needed to be touched up and they came right out to do the touch ups. We couldn't be happier!! Michael P.made a preliminary visit to provide an estimate and timetable for the work including suggestions of paint colors and how best to achieve our goals. He was professional, polite and attentive. Justin S. was the crew leader. He arrived exactly as scheduled and provided information regarding the time anticipated for completion and offered assurance that the job would be done to our expectation and satisfaction. Excellent job start to finish.

1500 square feet of replacement ceiling. They were on time, did a great job. They were very professional and we've never had any problems. They were very strict about code-compliance as well. Any minor mistakes we found, they came and fixed immediately. Very accountable for their work. The ceiling looks really nice.

The painters at Tru Colors were very professional and did an excellent job with regards to painting my home. They left my home clean and were very attentive to the smallest detail. I have included photos so you can judge for yourself. The reason for a B rating instead of an A is due to poor communication which began during the free estimation. I hired professional painters for several reasons but mainly because I wanted a few accent walls, one of which had a design. I chose Tru Colors over three other painting companies because the estimator spent an hour and half in my home and seemed more detail oriented and attentive with regard to what I wanted done to the home. The also advertised that they offered "artistic painting" as one of their services. Their pricing was a little higher than average, but not unreasonable. I did not receive the estimate until 5 days after the estimator visited my home and I had to call the company to ask them about the delay. That was probably a red flag, but as I stated above, I felt that so much more detail was given to the home during the initial meeting and it would be reflected in the work. To be fair, the reason for the delay in receiving my estimate was acceptable but it should have been communicated to me without my having to call the company. I mentioned the accent walls during the time of the estimation (had a picture on Pintrest) and provided a picture via email to their administrative office at the start of the project. As I mentioned before, the painters were excellent, however they didn't complete my artistic wall because the email containing the picture was never given to them. I was told that the accent wall was not included in my original estimate. Therefore, if I wanted it done they could do at a later time for an additional price. Since I did mention this at the time of the estimate I am not sure why it wasn't included. I also would've have been willing to pay additional money had I been told upfront. The company did contact me a day or two later to offer an estimate on the accent wall. We played phone tag for a couple of days, but here we are 17 days later and I still have not received the estimate. My fiance and I decided to complete the wall ourselves and we did. However, considering we paid almost 6000 dollars, we should not have had to repaint a wall done by professionals, especially when you consider that was primary reason I hired a painting company in the first place. Overall, I would say the quality of painting was very good, but the company rates poorly in communication.

They were good. They came out they gave me an estimate. It was very good that service. They looked at my problem. He told me that he didn't think that I needed his service. I mean he was happy to have done it but he told me what I could do myself for a lot less money. And so he essentially advised me for free which was nice. Just that he was very honest. He might not end up doing actually work for me but he advised me free of charge. And was very informative and friendly and nice.

Excellent from beginning to end. The man who power washed the roof and patio and driveway and put the "Rooficide" treatment on the roof did an excellent and very professional job! The painters were professional and and courteous as well. The house was painted, the trim done, we walked around the house and checked everything with the painters before they left! Everyone was a pleasure to work with including the gentleman who gave us the estimate and the office staff when they scheduled the job! Thank you for a job well done, I definitely will recommend this company to anyone who needs work done.

Tru Colors painted the exterior of my house, screened patio and driveway. The team was very professional from first contract with Mike the estimator to the end when the project was complete. The team Mario, Alex, John and Steven were all great. Their workmanship was outstanding. They use all Sherwin William products and take great pride in their work.

After researching several painting contractors on Angie's list, we received 5 estimates from Angie's List "A" rated painters. The estimates were all very close, but we selected TruColors Contracting because they included some tasks the others did not. Michael the estimator was very thorough and presented a detailed, itemized estimate which included photos of our home and the business licensing and insurance information for the company to assure us their paperwork was current and in order. Maurice, the company's conscientious and polite client advocate, called and emailed several times to confirm scheduling, confirm our paint colors and finishes and to accept credit card payment over the phone (yes, this company accepts all major credit cards). Only two days after notifying TruColors we had selected them, Maurice was able to get us on the schedule. Adam the pressure washer was impressive - he showed up promptly, was polite, professional and worked almost non-stop, doing an incredibly thorough job. Best pressure washing our house has had in 25 years! The painting team, led by Alex, arrived Monday morning, carefully prepping and patching the house, and masking our hurricane shutters, windows and outdoor lights. It took only 4 days to complete painting from start to finish, and our 25 year old house looks brand new. The painters were extremely careful, paid excellent attention to detail, asked questions when they wanted to clarify work before starting it, and were receptive to our feedback as they went to ensure they were on the right track. Part of our job called for replacing a side door into our garage that had rotted and swollen over time. Alex brought exactly the right replacement door then spent most of one day removing the old door and installing the new one, and it is perfect. Great clean up at the end too - no debris littering our property. Overall, an excellent experience and I would strongly recommend TruColors Contracting for exterior painting. I'm hanging on to their number - will be calling TruColors again soon to do some interior work!

Everything when well from start to finish, very responsive, courteous and professionally performed. Very satisfied utilizing Tru-Colors and all there personal. Job well done by Alex and his crew!
