+ 0 moreI had a KitchenAid wall-mounted canopy range hood that I needed installed as the final step of my kitchen remodel. Not having any experience hanging something like this, I called Tri-County Installation and was scheduled for the following week at a flat rate of $298.00 and the promise that I would have their most senior installer. The installer, whose name was Patrick, I believe, was punctual and knew exactly what he was doing. He worked directly with my HVAC contractor to trim the duct to the right length and then very carefully drilled mounting holes in my marble tile backsplash, ensuring that the hood would be level when hung. After connecting the electricity, he hung the hood and chimney, then polished it to a shine. It was an utterly professional job and I am thrilled with the way my hood looks. I would choose Tri-County Installation again in the future without a moment's hesitation. Thank you!

Description of Work: Morris of Big M Appliance on behalf of TCI came out on 8/21 to install an air unit on the wall. Five days later it was discovered the wall was very wet with moisture. Even though I had a 5 year warranty with Brand Smart they told me to buy another unit to install. They did not honor the warranty that they mentioned. I had to try to find who sold the unit and how to get it installed. The wall was destroyed. A different company named Mati-One installed the new unit and they did a great job. Mati-One discovered the original unit was not secured on the wall. The black stopper was not removed causing moisture to go through the wall. I called TCI on 8/24 and told them the wall was saturated. They told me even if that was the case it could not have that much damage. They said it was a pre-existing condition however my old unit had not been running in 6 days. At installation of first unit however when Morris came out to install my unit my wall was bone dry. The bad installation caused the moisture damage through the wall. TCI said in an effort to settle the matter we will refund the amount of the installation but we will not pay for the damage to the wall. Brand Smart credited the unit and warranty. TCI credited the installation. But no one would accept responsibility for the poor installation.

+ -1 moreCary did the installation and was great. He showed up exactly on time. He was clean, professional, and no nonsense. He explained everything he was going to do and then he did it. He covered his work area to protect it against damage. . He also demonstrated to me how to use my new equipment, and, he took away my broken appliances at not charge. I fully recommend him, and will call him again when I need another installation.

+ -1 moreI bought a new through the wall air conditioning unit from Brandsmart to replace one that was 7 years old and had failed. That company (Brandsmart) supplied me with an installer: Tri County Installers, who came on time, took out the old unit, installed the new one, used my old molding, and were in and out with no mess, no fuss and no bother. Their installer was professional, pleasant and went beyond what was necessary to get the job done neatly and efficiently. I would certyainly use them again and recommend the to others.
