Top Choice Paving & Asphalt Maintenance

I signed an agreement with Steve the owner of Top Choice for the following scope of work to be completed in 2 parts: PART 1: 1. Strip existing asphalt driveway, haul away debris. 2. Add stone as needed, set to grade. 3.Roll and compact stone base prior to paving. 4. Lay 1 1/2 Inches of Top Asphalt Driveway mix to match existing grade. 5.Roll, compact, hand tamp outer edges. Cost for the above $2,505 and was completed and paid for in full PART 2: 2 Coats of Seal Master Sealer with Sand Mix Cost for the above $300 Now that we are ready for PART 2 of the agreement Steve will not complete it for the written quote amount of $300 and instead wants $375. There is nothing in the agreement that states how long PART 2 of the quote is valid for and therefore Steve needs to honor the quote. He will not honor the quote and for $75 not only will he not get this small sale but he won't for the asphalt for either of my two commercial properties. DO NOT USE!!!! I cannot and will not recommend Steve or Top Choice Paving as they will not honor their written agreement.

Horrible! The driveway pools about an 1 1/2 " of water on the one side. After sealing the driveway, we were instructed to stay off for 72 hours, which we did. Once cars were on the driveway, gouges were made and all 3 companies & city inspector that came out to evaluate the damage said that the driveway was not graded properly & it was sealed way too early. I could not get this resolved after weeks of unreturned phone calls & emails so it was obvious they were not going to either fix it or settle with me. I was encouraged to take them to court but it became difficult being out of state and once the threatening messages & name calling started, I just dropped it. I did learn a very important lesson not to pay a job in full until it is done to complete satisfaction!

Sidewalk was fine Driveway was not graded properly and pools 1 1/2 inches of water on one side There were also gouges made by tires after driveway was sealed - we were instructed not to drive on for 72 hours, which we had complied with Upon inspections by 3 other companies and a city inspector, I was told that the driveway was sealed too early, not graded properly and that I should take them to small claims court. The issue was never resolved as I was not able to handle from out of state and I received threatening messages when I notified their resident agent. I learned a valuable lesson to never fully pay for a job until completed and proven to be satisfactory!
