SUPERIOR POOLS

Dealing with this company has been my worse nightmare. Work took much longer than I was led to believe. Whenever I had questions or problems I had to deal with a rude woman who sounded always annoyed by my calls. She has no business as a representative of any decent company. The contractors used by the company were unsupervised and did a poor job: there has been leaks from the skimmer for which I have had to pay several times since they do not give warranty longer than two years. Recently I called a company with good ratings in Angie's List to inspect a leak. Their opinion is that the shell was poorly done and is too thin. The company Superior (??) Pools has a warranty of ten years on the shell. I am planning to call them on this issue but dreading to do so, since they usually promised to come and I needed to call many times before the rude woman send somebody.

We chose this company to build our family pool based on price. One of our neighbors warned us of their service, but mentioned they were cheaper than all the others. The salesperson, "Bob" sold us a package deal and threw in a few extras, or so we thought. Items that he said were at cost, we found out were billed to us at 400% markup. The time frame for construction was 6 to 8 weeks. Our pool took 11 months to complete. Through each stage of construction, they used sub-contractors who were unsupervised. Almost every stage of construction was wrought with errors/mistakes and failed City inspections. After they completed construction, we have called them out to repair two planters, one sheer decent (three times), and had to rebuild the pool pump all within the first year. We still have coping that comes lose (once falling on my daughter in the pool), and problems with the sheer descents. Their customer service seemed annoyed with me asking them to make good on my $25,000-$30,000 purchase.

My biggest problem is the lack of customer service. I have never been handled so improperly. The woman who handles complaints and warranties is unreasonable, rude, and lacks all people skills necessary to be in her line of work. The management will not return my calls, and when I do get a hold of them, it is all lies and false promises. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE BUSY, THEY WERE ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT RIGHT AFTER WE CALLED THEM. THEY MADE SURE THAT ALL OF OUR NEEDS WERE MET. THEY WORKED HARD TO FINISH THE SWIMMING POOL ON TIME. THEY GOT IT DONE IN AMAZING TIMING.
