The team of people this company has working for them are superior Craftsman working so efficiently and with such great precision and care! Working on a hot roof all day long in the Florida Sun is no easy feat and every single worker was so genuine, positive, hard working and willing to make everything perfect! Great company. Once the permit was issued they came in and removed the old tile roof, installed some new fascia and roofing plywood where needed, hot mopped, sealed and installed the new roof tiles within a few days, I highly recommend Safeguard roofing .

They are a bit unorganized. Several times they scheduled an inspection without informing me. Also they do not call you back when they say they will. Work was great but the workers left tiles on the side of my house for me to clean up.

This is a good thing for you if you and your family need help.

Check their google reviews. Edit: After being threatened by the company to change my bad review to a good one I m forced to divulge more information about my roofing experience. Quality of work: Garbage. I hired an independent roofing consultant to inspect their work and he was appalled at the corners that had been cut and overall laziness. It rained the day after the new roof was put on and it leaked. Another example of the caliber of company you re dealing with is this: there was an area of the roof that needed more flashing cement. When I raised this concern with the company they sent a guy out who put Great Stuff expanding foam in the flashing gap. Are you kidding me? Parts of the projects needed stucco work done. The two stucco guys that came to my house were in flip flops and socks. Looks like Jon(the owner) drove to Home Depot and grabbed 2 guys and paid them 20 bucks to do the stucco work. The contract: here s the worst part of the whole job. The company willfully violated the contract by charging me for extra supplies which were not laid out in writing. The extra supplies cost $4000. When I asked the owner about this he said this is what all roofing companies do. Since I just wanted the job done and be rid of this company forever I gave in and paid. The most appalling part: After the job was done I got a call from Sheri who said there s a discrepancy with my final payment and since I posted a negative review on home advisor, they aren t willing to overlook it. She then said if I changed my review to a positive one then the discrepancy would go away. I told her no I m not changing my review and right before she hung up on me she said fine we ll just put a lien on your house. Avoid this company like the plague.

I was very satisfied with not only my roof job, but the quality customer service I received from the permitting department to the accounting department. Sara kept me posted throughout the entire permit application, offering updates as requested. Sam walked me through my payments and thoroughly explained my invoice, numerous times. What a dear. I would HIGHLY recommend Safeguard Roofing to all my friends and anyone looking to have their roof redone.

Great company. In one day they pulled all the tiles and tar off, one more day to install new wet mop, and two days to install tiles. They have a large crew that cleanup every time they worked on the roof. No complaints and new roof looks great. Only downfall, they seam a little disorganized in the office, but they always did what they promised.

This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. Safeguard was the cheapest of several quotes I got for the replacement of my tile roof and they were very responsive during the sales process. The initial quote was based on a satellite picture of the house but the quote was raised significantly when they came to do the physical inspection because there was a patio level they couldnt see on the satellite. That was not a great start. They were fast about getting the old roof off but horrible communicators during the process - they showed up at the house with no prior notice at all. This was consistent throughout the process. They were also helpful in some respects - they removed some old satellite dishes without charging me to do so. When they hot mopped and put on the paper, there were nails everywhere. In the 3 months since they put on the paper, I have had to repair 3 tires because of nails (after 10 years without having to do so before). I cant say definitively that the nails came from them but we are still finding nails in the yard. The most frustrating part was waiting for the tiles. We ordered tiles in November and were told in April that we would have to wait until at least May in order to get what we ordered. Eventually, we took a different color to get the process over with. Also, they got tar on the house and told us that they would paint it if we provided them with a brush. Throughout the whole process, the communication was not good - emails, phone calls and texts repeatedly went without any response. With that said, I have no reason to believe that the actual roof work they did wasnt good and this is my first experience with a roofing company so I have nothing to compare it to. Even with the increase from the original quote, they were the least expensive option and they were very fair with replacing the wood (though they didnt paint the fascia either). If you are willing to put up with the issues in order to save the money, then I would consider them but having just gone through it, I would probably pay a little more for a more professional and responsive company.

Getting a high-end roof is not an easy project, so be prepared for delays and problems. I recommend using roof tile that is in stock, don't do a special order, it will end up being a problem. That said, Safeguard Roofing is a good company, with good people. They will get the job done, and it will be done correctly.

We we very lucky to have started the project when we did, with the tile color & shape. Where other families have waited months for the roof to be completed, we had a new roof in 4 weeks; start to finish.

I would rate them with ZERO stars if I could. They are terrible, hostile, and installed the roof wrong. They would not come out to fix it and I had to threaten legal action. They then dragged their feet for so long I was forced to hire someone else in order to get homeowners insurance. They do not stand behind their work. They left things broken and there is a ton of rotting wood still they did not repair or replace. Some of the soffits were destroyed and they did not even tell me, I found it weeks later. They will gladly take your money and issue a bill once they think they are complete and they will not provide you any value for what you pay.
