Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

difficult problem, couldn't clear drain using kitchen sink drains as would normally be expected. technician kept at it and finally cleared the drain using an outside cleanout

They called me back within minutes, had a serviceman within the hour. He fixed the problem quickly & efficiently. They called back to follow-up... Wow, I am SO impressed! Wished all service companies were run that way.

We purchased the $25 for $75 worth of work and it was a complete waste of money. The technician came in and said the cost to replace the inside of our toilet would be $275 AFTER the $75 was deducted. REALLY $350 for $10 worth of parts and 5 minutes time. Then he looked at our leaky bath faucet and did not even inspect it. Simply looked at it and said "oh that's going to cost about $4-500". It is a washer that needed to be replaced. We said no thank you and asked him to leave. I STRONGLY advise no one to use this company. They are a rip off!

Came out and assessed the situation and checked obvious areas for blockage. Determined where the problem was and easily cleared it. all this took about 90 minutes

Rapid rooter was at our place a few times. Every time they come the price for service get higher. We really feel they are taking advantage of the situation, and any charge would be justified. The service man said they could no longer go on roof to camera the job going down the roof pipe. He had to lift the toilet and snake down to clear any debris. Which seems easier than going on roof. The bill was $750. Just 4 months earlier they were at same location - except this time went to roof to analyze the job. They come on time , I think , because it a money pit for them and you are in a pinch. I believe snaking out a toilet, for that amount of money is outrageous ! I called to tell them that this was the last time they would get a dollar from me. I would NEVER RECOMMEND RAPID ROOTER.......i BELIEVE A PLUMBER COULD HAVE DONE THE SAME FOR A MORE HONEST PRICE.....A RIP OFF.

I had a terrible experience with them. It was $25 credit for a $75 call or something. When I got ready to redeem it, it seems like that credit wasn't even there. The price was $225 and if I had a credit it would be $150. He never explained to me that it was extra and that $75 had nothing to do with the pricing. They were very responsive. They were right on time.

They're overpriced. I won't be using them again.

Miguel and Yansi were great. They arrived promptly, were very professional and knowledgeable and fixed the trouble rapidly. The experience was a very pleasant one and we feel that the plumbing problem had been corrected for good. Every step was explained and the equipment showed us on screen where the trouble was.(very cool) RotoRooter is lucky to have such good employees. We give this experience an A+++++.

He ran a snake from the septic tank and cleared that blockage also. He also told us that the blockage was called by toilet paper that wasn't breaking down in water (we had switched to a new plush brand 5 weeks earlier) he also showed us how to test the toilet paper to see if it would be safe for our septic system. We are extremely pleased with the service we received.

I purchased the 25$ coupon for 75$ worth of plumbing services because my garbage disposal would not work. When I called the company, I explained my issue and they told me the plumber would honor the deal I purchased for the work. When he arrived (late by the way) he told me there is no way he could honor that deal. He said it did not cover garbage disposal work, even though the deal said it DOES cover garbage disposals AND I confirmed they would honor it with dispatch. He then tied to sell me services I did not need, including clearing my water line. After we agreed to move forward, he walked to his truck, grabbed a tool, twisted some small key at the bottom of my garbage disposal and it was back to working. IT TOOK HIM 5 MINUTES and he CHARGED ME 185$. I will never use this company again. They do not honor the discounts they sell and the are dishonest.

They were ridiculously high in price. They did come when they were suppose to and did call when they needed to.

They came out late, which I did not appreciate. I needed to have them fix a leaky faucet and due to a mirror being in the way the provider wouldn't do the job. I told him that I was willing to risk the mirror, but he still refused to do the work.

They came out in 45 minutes and diagnosed the problem. They carefully explained the steps and costs to fix it. They stayed on it until it was cleared and kept me filled in along the way. I highly recommend them. My technician was Sebastian and he was awesome. Request him if possible. He really knows his stuff and how to handle customers in a panic.

The plumber who was very professional was very nice and responsive. After he looked at the issue, he said the cost would be $189 for the service call plus parts. I went crazy. Told him to leave and I would ask for a credit from Angies List. He called the manager and he stated that he can reduce the cost to approximately $110 including the parts. I told him that I could buy a whole new toilet for that price. The total cost was $135 or so when you add in the $25 paid for the Angie promo. Next time I will call a plumber and ask what the fees are in advance. Would not use this service again.

Joe was very professional and fair. He paid a great deal of attention to detail, and didn't finish the job until he felt it was done right. I read from other reviews that Roto Rooter was expensive, and that was true. Joe told me it's because Roto Rooter offers a "free" one year warranty on all their services. That's good. But really...what are the odds that something would go wrong? Not sure such a "warranty" is worth that price. Still, the job was done well, Joe did everything he could to make the price reasonable, and I'm very happy with the result. Thumbs up, except for the price. But hey...plumbers gotta eat, too, right? That's what you get when you hire a big corporation instead of a small contractor.

I started off by asking for their best price for a certain plumbing service. Gave me $168 initially, and after some discussion it dropped $85 . Still seemed to high for the work that I wanted to have done. The technician tried to call his boss and then ended up saying that he couldn't do the service for cheaper. The extreme price drop after I initially asked for the best price left me not wanting to use their services.

i was not present when he came but my husband was.. i had not slept all night and was asleep. when i arrived i was greeted with the BILL! i bought$25, for $75. worth of plumbing services INCLUDING garbage disposal repair! neville was here for about 1/2 hour including the time he spent talking to my husband about things totally unrelated to plumbing. i don't mind paying for parts. i expect that. but really! $125. for extra labor???? too much! i would NEVER use these guys again. talk about taking advantage of the elderly! DISGUSTING!

Our service man, Dimitry was extremely friendly and helpful. He accomplished the job very well and without any difficulties. I would definately have him or George help me again. I was very pleased with their company.

I called this morning advising my water heater flooded. They sent a plumber to my home this morning. He originally quoted me $1400 or less to replace with similar or better quality, but when I said I had a quote of $1300, he made a call, and said he would price match. He could clearly see I am disabled and began asking questions about my disability. After his call with his boss, Specifically, he said he argued with his boss for the discount because I am disabled and he feels for me. I did not ask for special treatment or pricing because I am disabled. He then asked me to sign a blank invoice, telling me he would go to home depot to pick up the 80 gallon water heater and come back to install today (refused to provide times). I asked him if his price included a permit, he said a permit was not necessary. All of the sudden, the price now went up $200 and several more calls were made. Dennis tried to convince me that I did not need a permit and it was not required, but it is. I asked him if the price was still $1300 if I did not get a permit and now he said it would be approximately $1900 for the same size unit, all the parts, and labor. Story totally different once I requested a completed invoice and permit. When I said no, he tried to sell me a product to pour into my sinks on a monthly bases so they would not clog! I do not have an issue with my sinks clogging - this was not even discussed! My first experience with them a few weeks ago was much better than this one. I will not be utilizing their services again because of this new experience. VERY SHADY.

It was great, same day service, and the pipe was replaced and I was able to use my sink with a few hours.

Was done in a timely way, works and looks great.

Zvi the plumber was skilled and knowledgeable. He arrived on time and went right to work. He was a pleasure to do business with. I will call him again if needed. The work was guaranteed for a year.

Fast and reliable. I'm impressed because they answered my call and came to my house almost immediately. The technicians were professionals, reliable, and polite. The price was high, but I know they came almost immediately and this makes the difference.
