+ -1 moreThey were referred to me by a friend of mine. They didn’t stick to their appointment and the price charged was a few hundred dollars more than the quoted price. They didn’t have their initial inspection with the county. There were simple things that they missed too. I wouldn’t use their services in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Rapid Air Conditioning about two and a half weeks ago and they replaced my air conditioner.

+ -1 moreAfter waiting for the part to be ordered and shipped, Richard showed up on time and did a great job. Although it was in the middle of a rain and lightning storm, Richard still went outside without protection and filled and tested the freon levels, getting soaked in the process. What cemented my good rating for this company was the fact that Mark kept good communication with me during the entire process and actually called after the work was complete to make sure I was satisfied. A lot of companies just do the job, take your money and run.
Description of Work: Richard from Rapid Air replaced a warrantied blower motor. In doing so, he had to drain and recharge the system and re-route some poorly installed freon lines which were blocking the system. I had originally called the actual installer to diagnose the problem, but since the freon lines were blocking the way, he wasn't equipped to even begin the repair. Fed up with the installer at that point, I reviewed Angie's List and called a few "A" rated companies. Most of them said that the re-routing of the freon lines would be a great deal more money and advised that I have the original installer do the repair, since the installer was the one who screwed up in the first place. Not wanting to give them any more of my business, I contacted Mark, the owner of Rapid Air, who agreed to do it for the most reasonable amount of money.

+ -1 moreI COULD NOT BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD BE OPENED OR EVEN COME OUT DUE TO TROPICAL STORM ERNESTO. WHILE EVERYONE WAS GETTING HURRICANE PREPARED, RAPID SHOWED UP, REPLACED DEFECTIVE PART, AND WAS GONE WITHIN 45 MINUTES. JERRY, THE COMPANY TECHNICIAN, WAS RESPONSIVE, COURTEOUS, AND PLEASANT. I'M SO GLAD ANGIE'S LIST CAME ABOUT.
Description of Work: OVERNIGHT, OUR AIR CONDITIONER STARTED THROWING OUT HOT AIR. THE NEXT MORNING, THE DAY OF TROPICAL STORM ERNESTO'S IMPENDING VISIT, RAPID AIR CONDITIONING WAS CALLED AND WERE AT THE HOUSE WITHIN TWENTY MINUTES, REPLACING THE STARTER IN CENTRAL A/C UNIT.
