Roberta was hired to assist my 88 year old parents, and it was crucial that my parents felt comfortable and safe with her in their home. Things could not have been better and we have recommended her to a number of people.
Description of Work: Packing, mailing, sorting, delivering goods, researching value for auction, generally assumed responsibility for packing up a 3 bedroom apartment, including advice on how and where to donate medical equipment and other items.

The job went smoothly under Roberta's direction.
Description of Work: Roberta oversaw the renovation of my home with excellent care and complete professionalism. She was in charge of the whole project as I was not able to be on site. Roberta treated me as if I was a close friend , answering all my phone calls, emails and questions. She took care of the project as if it were her own home. She has great expertise in managing other people as well as a forte in design and decorating. I would not hesitate to recommend Roberta for any job- big or small.

The process was handled efficiently and effectively. When I arrived, I wasn't sure how the job would get done in the time we had. But as soon as Roberta stepped in, we began to see real progress. She treated each item as if it were her own but was able to make quick decisions. We couldn't have done it without her!
Description of Work: Clean out of parent's home and sorting of personal items - sell, donate, keep, discard. Sale/consignment of selected items.

It couldn't have gone better. She is very detailed and didn't miss a thing. If she wasn't sure about something she called me. She made sure that nothing was forgotten. I finally gave her a key so she could have free run of the place and be there when she needed to be. She had everything out of the apartment on February 28 so we could walk Through it the next day. Description of Work: Roberta saved me. My mother took a fall and within 24 hours our lives were upside down it became clear she would be going to Hospice and we wanted the apartment cleaned out before the end of the month. Roberta did everything she sold what could sold, consigned some very good pieces, had all the gold evaluated and found the best prices. Found gold we did even know was there. She had everything left over donated or disposed of. I never had to do another thing. She even arranged the get together after the funeral. I can't recommend her highly enough. I feel very grateful to have had her.

She did a fabulous job and came in under budget. We didn't have to do anything for which we were very grateful. She was fantastic. She knew what had value and where to take it. She kept tabs on everything that was consigned or auctioned. We were thrilled with the results. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Description of Work: A family member died suddenly and we needed the apartment cleaned out in two weeks. Roberta came over to Evaluate the job and make recommendations. She thought it would take about 30 hours to get everything properly sorted, consigned, donated and the disposal of what was left. We just wanted everything given away. She was insistent that there was money to be made and took responsibility for getting it all done. She not only finished in the two week timeframe, she did make us a substantial amount of money.

I can't speak highly enough of the job Roberta did. She saved me countless hours, found things that we didn't know existed. Got us bids on everything from furniture to silver to gold jewelry and got us the best prices possible. She was completely trustworthy and checked in with me on everything before we did it. At such a difficult time, I was able to concentrate on my my mother and my family and the arrangements and the funeral without having to think about emptying or cleaning out the apartment. If not for Roberta, I'm sure I would just have given everything to Goodwill, but she knows what things are worth and was able to sort out the wheat from the chaff. If something was questionable in her mind in terms of whether we would want to keep it or sell it, she always asked. She did so much better for me than I would have done for myself. It was wonderful. If I had an organization needs or party needs, I would contact her immediately. She is a gem.
Description of Work: My mother died quick suddenly and although I'm local, I was overwhelmed by all that had to be done. Roberta came into the apartment and from that time on, I did nothing. She sorted, packed, consigned, donated and sold all of the apartment contents and got it all done before we had to pay an extra month's rent and fees. She put together the get together after the funeral with one phone call to me so all I had to do was show up and everything was done.
