+ -1 morehad them give an estimate for and eventually install a 2 ton ac unit for my condo. The salesman was knowledgeable about the products. All appointments for sales and installation were on time. Installation went smoothly and took the estimated time. Installation men cleaned up when done.Their price was good . I had one other estimate and for the same unit these guys were cheaper. I bought another brand which qualified for FPL rebate, Also the crane charge (unit went on roof) was half . And as I have a service contract they gave some other discounts..

+ -1 moreThey were excellent and were here everyday for about 4 days until my dishwasher was fixed. Mark, supervisor would have come out to the house if the other guys could not fix it.
Description of Work: Pride Air Conditioning & Appliances, Inc. - 1st guy said i need to change a new water valve. 2nd guy installed the water valve wrong. 3rd guy said a plumber needed to fix something. 4th guy was the plumber. 5th guy installed a water valve and it finally worked. Paid $60.00 for service charge and repair. $56.00 in parts. Never charged more money.

+ 1 moreI use them on contract. I pay an annual contract fee to cover all my appliances, plumbing and electrical work. It is one flat fee per year that I pay. I've been with them for quite a few years and I live in a condo. Many of the other people in the complex also use them. For the most part they have been very reliable and done good work. Their service people are courteous. I've had them out on the air conditioning and the washing machine. I've used them for a variety of things and they have been satisfactory on everything. The price is very good. There have been a couple of instances where they were a little slow.

They showed up on time, completed the installation in a timely fashion, and left the area as clean and undisturbed as they found it. Additionally, Pride's price was one of the lowest bid's recived in 5 estimates.

+ 0 moreOVERALL, WHENEVER THEY CAME TO FIX THE AIR CONDITIONER, IT SEEMED TO BE A PARTIAL FIX. AT ONE POINT THEY TOLD US THAT THERE WAS TOO MUCH FREON AND THEY HAD TO REMOVE SOME. APPARENTLY THEY REMOVED IT ALL, PER ANOTHER REPAIR CO. THEY SAID WE NEEDED TO REPLACE IT. WHEN I MENTIONED WE HAD REPLACEMENT COVERAGE, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS RUSTY AND WOULD NOT BE REPLACED. THE NEXT QUESTION WAS WHY DID THEY TAKE THE FEE FOR REPLACEMENT VALUE WHEN THEY KNEW THAT SITUATION EXISTED. i ASKED AND WAS CHEERFULLY GIVEN AN ESTIMATE FOR REPLACEMENT. IN THE MEANTIME THEY WOULD NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO FIX IT BECAUSE THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE.
Description of Work: HAD A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THEM, THEY INSPECTED ALL THE APPLIANCES,INCLUDING THE AIR CONDITIONER, BEFORE THEY ACCEPTED US AS CUSTOMERS. FOUND PROBLEMS AND "FIXED" THEM AT A STEEP CHARGE TO US. ON INSPECTION THEY MADE SPECIAL MENTION OF THE RUST ON THE COMPRESSOR BUT ACCEPTED THE REPLACEMENT VALUE FEES. GENERALLY WHEN THEY CAME TO FIX SOMETHING, IT HAD TO BE REDONE.

+ 0 moreThey are phenomenal. They are very prompt and they try to go according to your schedule. They come on time, ask no questions and just do what they are supposed to do, at a reasonable price. Their service costs $120 for the year, and that includes electrical, air conditioning, and a whole bunch of other stuff. As an investor and as a person who rents from a landlord as well, I?ve used their services. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

+ -1 moreThey are a very good service company. All I have to do is to give them a call and they come out to check the issue. They do come back several times if they have to. Their price is very fair and they are very responsive. They give you a window and they come within that time. We would continue to use them in future.

+ 0 morePride has been able to handle all of our issues for the past 10 years and I have never had a disappointing experience with them. They are prompt, friendly and always very professional when they are here.
Description of Work: I pay them $250 on a yearly basis for their service, which is to handle any appliance, plumbing or heating and air conditioning issues that I have. Their service call is covered, I simply pay for the parts needed to fix whatever problem that we have. Most recently they came out to unplug my kitchen sink. There was no fee, as this service is covered under the service agreement.

+ -1 moreOverall the experience was upsetting, the company sleazy, unprofessional and a total disaster. It took 6 days to speak with the proper person who then had to refer it to someone else. My phone calls were never returned. They were rude and are still ignoring the incident even at the loss of a large sale, I need to resort to legal representation and will contact the BBB and other organizations who recommend Pride, They have absolutely no pride and I suggest you never, ever use them.
Description of Work: My neighbor was authorized to allow a Pride representative go into my apartment and measure for a new unit which I was going to purchase for $2500. Company was to check air conditioning system, and give a quote for a new unit. The serviceman used the toilet which resulted in a backup, damage to the ballcock and flapper which created a flood. I was out of town and the flooding continued for 8 hours and caused extensive damage to my floor and carpeting in addition to water damage and mildew in 3 other apartments on the floor below. The president of Pride denied the event ever happened, called me a liar, refused to take any responsibility for the incident and blamed me for not turning off my water system while I was away.
