PIP Inc

funny question for us. we moved to boca in 1993. we rented a house for the 1st year. the 1st day we were in the house we hired a pest control company to check the house out. they said it was ok. the 2nd night we heard buzzing noises coming from the kitchen. it turned out to be an infestation of carpenter ants where the queens had wings, which meant that the nest had been there a long time. great landlord.my wife was ready to move out. we grabbed the phone book and looked for a 24 hour emergency exterminator. we found an ad for PIP. we called and at midnight, a gentleman by the name of wayne teague, the owner, came to the house. he took care of the problem. at the end of the lease we bought a house and of course, continued to use PIP. in 2011 we sold the house and moved to a rental apartment. the management company for the building provides pest control, but we still have PIP come in every two months, just to make sure. it's 23 years since i first met wayne and would not use or trust anyone else.

I still have ticks. I will be calling a technician besides PIP.

After providing treatment we still had termite activity. They retreated the areas where activity was visible. The termite activity continued and next time I called the office staff stated we were told we had to allow time for the termites to take the agent back to their nests and kill the nest. The next year termites swarmed in all the same areas. They came out at least four more times as the swarming kept happening and new places were added. We even removed the wood surrounding our window to make the area more accessable...to the technician. He stated the dry wall had been warped with leakage (the leakage was only the first inch and was damaged by the amount of chemicals they put in it! The technician stated if this treatment did not work I needed to cut holes in my drywall in my recently renovated bedroom so he could find them! Since every area they had treated still had termites (other rooms) I did not see how this would stop the problem. They also tried to state that the termites were not dead because of a leak in a window in our office (I can see that affecting that room but not the rest of the house). This is year three and we still have termites in all the same areas... While there technicians are nice and polite what they are using did not handle the problem. I will find another company and get my house tented. Sadly I am out all the money I spent on PIP. We never received our renewal notice this year.. (accidental?). It did not matter because we were not willing to give them another cent.

We used them 10 years. We had an annual contract with them. We had inside and outside service with them. They sprayed for termites and bugs. We had termites and after 6 years, they couldn't make them go away. I give them low ratings and will not use them again in the future.

They do a really good job. My lawn has never looked better. I highly recommend them. The technicians are very professional and careful with their work.

They come out every month and if we have anything wrong or we have a problem they come out and fix the problem. We have used them for quite a few years now and they are just great. We always call before they come to let my wife know that they coming that day so that she doesn't see a strange man in the yard. Their price is reasonable and they do a good job.
