I called them to install some can lights in my kitchen, some bathroom fans in 2 bathrooms and a ceiling fan. They said they would be able to do it this Thursday but called me yesterday to say they had an opening and would be able to do it yesterday. I happily agreed and the electrician came at about 2:30 (even though he said he would be there between 1 and 1:30). My wife let him in the house and then had to leave for work. At about 5:30pm, he called me to tell me that he had to make a ?small? hole in the ceiling to accommodate the bath fan because the one that he was replacing was larger than the original. Well, by the time I get there (which was around 6:30) he had both fans installed and was about to install ceiling fan. I go into the bathroom and get the see the ?small hole? as well as the complete mess that he left. I took pictures so you can see what he did to my house. All I could say was WOW but for some strange reason I let him continue because I needed to get this done. He proceeded to attempt to install the ceiling fan. I gave him the fan and right away he complained that ?Hunter? fans are horrible fans and I should take it back and get a different brand. I explained that I bought this one for a reason and he needs to install it. He did attempt to install it but complained the entire time?literally! He was yelling, grunting and cussing the entire time. He finally got to a point where it was time to test it. He turned it on and nothing happened. His response was that "the fan was broken". I told him that it was brand new and he needed to figure out why it wasn?t working. After about 10 minutes more of work, he got the light to turn on but not the fan. His response again was that the fan was broken. I took his word for it and told him that he needs to bring it down so I can exchange it. He complains again but reluctantly does it. About half way through him tearing down the fan I decide to look at the holes that he left so I could figure how to fix them. I look closely and see that the fan is not connected to the exhaust vent that goes through the attic and outside the house. He just had it blowing all of the moist/hot air into the attic so it can rot and mold my ceiling joists. I asked him why it was not connected. He said because there was no room and how it was a nightmare just getting the new fans into place. At this point I was fuming! I told him to leave my house and refused to pay him a dime. He left without a word and I had to repair the mess that he left. I took the ceiling fan completely down and started over installing it and guess what.... it worked!! I am no electrician but somehow I installed my first ceiling fan on my own without any issues. Then I went to tackle the the exhaust fans in the bathrooms. When I pulled down the cover, the exhaust fan almost came down on my head!!! HE SCREWED THE 15lb FAN INTO THE DRYWALL ONLY!!! Not only did he put holes in my ceiling but he could have killed or seriously injured me or my wife. I had to secure the exhaust fans to the ceiling joists, then repair the holes. I manage an office and don't have any construction experience but was better than this bozo. Thank GOD I kicked him out before he got a chance to ruin my kitchen too. See the pictures
Description of Work: All I wanted installed was 2 bathroom exhaust fans (which I purchased), 1 ceiling fan (which I purchased) and 6 can lights in the kithen. He quoted me a total of $700 to do the job.

Mr Marson did very good work but he promised to come back as soon as gutter was moved to finish off installation. Gutter was taken care of and after repeated phone calls and promises by office person that he would take care of problem, still hasn't shown up. Thought price was a little high but didn't mind as long as job was completed satisfactory.
Description of Work: Installed wind sensor and switch for retractable awning. At that time he couldn't finish job until gutter was moved so that awning could retract.
