He did a great job at estimating when the job would start and finish, which can be difficult when trying to finish other jobs and the rainy summers in South Florida. Two days were spent just repairing and prepping the home which is very important. Would definitely use them again, I have already recommended him to multiple colleagues and friends looking to get their home painted.
Description of Work: Replaced and repair any rotted fascia and soffit boards, power-washed exterior, crack repairs etc., prime and paint 1 story 2/3 home.

A two day job was completed and even clean up was effected nicely. Had a little misunderstanding on the color for one wall--their mistake, which was gladly corrected without any problem. Michael, the owner obviously knew his business and his men were engaging and happy to be employed by him. They seemed to take pride in their work.

Everyone seemed professional and worked proficiently. They took care to protect our belongings, even our shrubs were covered when painting the exterior. We were unexpectedly excited to see the men clean up daily and leave our house our home! All in all, we are extremely happy with the painting of our home.

He was punctual and finished the job within the time we agreed upon. I have other projects in mind and won't hesitate to call Marciano Enterprise painting and restoration again.
Description of Work: Michael Marciano did numerous jobs completing previous work that had been done very poorly. He repaired and painted my ceiling in my den as well as replacing and correcting a door frame as well as many other defects in a den that i could not get anyone for several months who was willing to repair faulty work! He also touched up and painted my entire hallway leaving it back in the condition I remember before damage from previous contractor.

The interior looks amazing now. The boys room is immaculate so is the master bedroom, I decided on colours I've never had before. And Michael uses a colour technique called framing. I love it! The exterior is still work in progress. But I'm sure they will do a great job too. Michael has a good eye for details and is honest. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thanks Michael!
Description of Work: Michael Marciano is an artist. He loves colour and so do I. Him and his team painted all the interior of the house, exterior and treated all the damp areas that were effected. They also caulked and sealed all the areas that needed work. Michael also suggested treating one of the bathtubs that was very worn out.

+ -1 moreOn the flat roof he used a product called R400 RUBBER, with 5 years guarantee!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACCORDING TO HIS FLYERS THE MOST ADVANCED WATERPROOFING IN THE WORLD.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was not even 2 years when it started leaking in the middle of the fascia board and pieces peeling all over my yard. I started calling him many times over the course of a year but he never called back or came to see the roof. In May 2013 I send him a register letter with pictures of the dilapidated roof. He NEVER CAME, NEVER CALLED, he is very unprofessional. This is the worst thing that anybody can put on his roof .Leaves the roof completely bare to the elements., I have pictures to prove it. I thing he is waiting for the 5 years to pass so he would not have to honor the guarantee.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The contractor started pressuring for payment, texting, calling to the point my wife had to instruct him not to call again. I then walked the property with contracting explaining areas that needed attention before payment would be made, this was frustrating as i had explained before we agreed to contact i did not want to supervise the work, He assured not to worry.. I had several areas where the paint bubbled instead of correcting the areas correctly they just sanded primed and painted again. Since work has been completed many areas have bubbled again. Our house is a 6000 SF with Cedar paneling Grey color before work, they repainted to a light brown and Beige The doors were painted light brown however they only repainted the exterior of the door not the inner door, when i pointed how odd it looks to have a Brown Door, Grey Inner Door and White Interior they reluctantly agreed to paint inner door, however they did this so quickly and never allowed enough time for primer or main coat to dry before closing the doors which caused the door to paint shut. i had to replace most of the door seals. His crew was very clean and meticulous and made the extra effort to keep the surrounding property clean without any spills or spatters. Also during the initial preping of the roof, one of the valleys was found to have extensive dry rot damage and Michael replaced this roof section at no extra charge over his original quote. He worked around the constant showers we have in south Florida during the summer to get the job done quickly. This was important to us as the leaks in the roof were beginning to cause damage to ceilings inside the home. .The roof was thirty years old but now is good for another twenty years and at a fraction of the cost of a complete re-roof job. The roof looks amazing and the terra cota oolor matches the trim perfectly. This company knows this business and I would highly recommend Michael to anyone who is considering a new roof. You can save big bucks by talking with him first.
Description of Work: Replaced all broken roof tiles, sealed all seams with cement, coated entire gable roof with prime sealer and finish coated the roof with R400 Rubber waterproof coating plus also sealed and aluminum coated the adjacent flat porch roof.

+ 2 moreWe had a significant roof leak in our bathroom and they repaired a section of the roof and waterproofed the entire roof in record time. Mike (the owner) was very knowledgeable and took plenty of time to discuss the problem and several possible solutions. He gave us a daily project status report and I found his communication to be excellent. The roof is beautiful and we are very happy that we selected Marciano Enterprises for our roof repair and waterproofing contractor.
Description of Work: The roof leak was repaired by replacing rotted wood and new tiles where needed. The entire roof was pressure cleaned and cleaned to a dust free surface. Applied a cement epoxy to all cracks, voids, roof joints to the entire roof. Applied a coat of waterproofing bonding primer to the entire roof surface. Applied a 100% rubber coating with white gloss finish to the entire roof. Then painted the roof trim around the roof with a white roof paint. The finished roof is warranted for five years against water leaking, peeling, and fading.

+ 2 moreThe job was started in the middle of the week, a couple of days past the intended start date, but weather hampered the start. The crew was courteous and seemed to work hard. The exterior was started first and when rain happened they moved to the inside. It was a little hard as I have a young daughter, but they cleaned up each day and I realized how difficult it was to go through interior work. Thankfully, the crew finished the inside and outside pretty quickly.......I have to say the demolition gave me so much hope as to how things would look, that the inconvenience was worth it. The finished product has really made me feel so happy. I hope everyone should have such a good result. Coming home now is like being on vacation.
Description of Work: I have just had a home painted inside and out, as well as some interior changes to the layout of my home. Our home was in need of exterior painting. The paint was chipping off and was faded. Inside we wanted to update our bedroom, and our family room. We took down some unsightly paneling and realized the wall was easily removed and not a structural problem giving me a much larger room and beautiful new walk in closet. Drywall was needed and painting as well. In the family room we had more awful paneling on the walls and old built in cabinets. Marciano Enterprises removed the outdated cabinets and paneling and replaced with new drywall. Michael took a lot of time going over color options and wall finishes. He suggested colors to go with my furniture and to compliment our tile on the floor. I can't believe how much having the dark paneling and the cabinets removed made. The colors all blended so nicely and were reminiscent of a beach scene, calm and serene. I was a little surprised about the expense of the job, but Michael took so much time with me I felt I needed to go with him. He convinced me the money would be well spent, and after the job was completed I was in total agreement.

+ 2 moreWe wanted all works to be in one contractors hand who would oversee and coordinate the the different subs. All works started promptly and as proposed. One sub-contractor removed the solar panels, another one repaired the flat roof at the same time. Shortly after that, the Marciano crew started pressured cleaning the roof, and then repaired the problem areas where necessary. Then applied a special rubber sealing coat over the entire roof. After 3 days of intense work all was done, and the solar panels went back up. The next night we had a strong down-poor, and I have not seen any moisture re-appear. I would particular comment the Marciano crew who did the works with enthusiasm and attention to detail; seemingly always willing "to go the extra mile". The men were courteous and very helpful. All works were finished in a short time span. We are happy with the works done, and the way they were done, glad we contracted with this firm.

Repair flat porch roof and leaks in porch flat roof and other areas, particular around solar panels supports. sealing entire roof with a special rubber coating. + 4 moreThe work was started promptly. The men pressured cleaned the exterior roof, and then set to work on the problem areas. I am not sure all of what was done, but after several hard downfalls, we have not seen any moisture or discoloration on our new ceilings. Those were done after the roof was completed. The men were very courteous and conscientious. Ceilings were re-plastered and painted and then our interior walls were painted. All finished in a relatively short span of time. Upon completion, we were given the opportunity to walk through and give our approval of the job should we find problems. The men were equipped to address our issues right then and there. Completely delighted.........and so happy we went this route.
Description of Work: So I am now a believer.........and so much so I am motivated to write a review. Marciano Enterprises Painting Restorations recently finished working on my newly acquired home.........the roof, well we thought it was going to have to be replaced. The interior ceilings were mottled with brown water stains......but after a beautiful waterproofing of this roof it looks brand new. The inside ceilings are great as well.......freshly painted and with a new plaster finish.....it made a huge difference. It was the perfect start to our new home improvements. I highly recommend this company, a wonderful professional and skilled staff.

+ 0 moreI contacted Michael Marciano (from a flier I received at my house) for suggestions on what to do with a large wall in our living room. Michael suggested that we do venetian plaster over the phone, but came out shortly after and provided a very through consultation and estimate. He was very helpful with his artistic suggestions- he even managed to identify the exact paint colors (manufacturer and all) that were in other rooms of our house and incorporated those colors into the wall. When my husband and I were concerned that the colors were drying too lightly, they were back the very next day to apply a second coat exactly to our specifications, and at no additional expense to us. The project was finished quickly and efficiently. They were extremely careful about protecting our furniture and floors and were very accommodating with scheduling. The finished project came out better than we ever imagined and I would absolutely recommend Michael Marciano Enterprises for any interior paint design project.
Description of Work: We had a large wall covered with venetian plaster. The plaster is applied to the wall in a "random" fashion so it looks almost like marble. Three different colors were incorporated into the plaster and the wall was buffed to a subtle sheen.

Then in June of 2011 once I knew the roof was solid, I asked them to come back and repair all my ceilings, walls and trim from the previous roof leaks. They had to replace a great deal of the rotted ceilings and wood trim. I was really happy with the entire job. The work force was clean, detailed and never stopped from morning till early evening. They vacuumed and swept at the end of each day, I must say that the courtesy and professionalism from Michael Marciano's staff is rare. When Mike asked If I would write a review for his company I rarely do this but in his case I am making an exception for what I believe to be exceptional.

+ -1 moreAs new residents to Florida, we needed a painter to re-decorate and repair an extremely sloppy job previously done to a beautiful woodwork. Michael Marciano was asked to submit a bid and his remedy proposal to the previous job. Michael Marciano was selected (certainly not the highest bidder, nor the lowest) because of his promise to restore the beautiful walls and woodwork. His crew arrived on schedule everyday,, cleaned up at days end and were very polite and cheerful. The end result was a great job and will certainly result in additional work and recommendations.
Description of Work: Painted ceiling, crown molding, walls and base board in living room, dining room, kitchen, hall way and bathroom. Mr Marciano replaced damaged moldings around front door.

+ 2 moreI was very pleased overall. Mr. Marciano supervised the performance of his employees. Each of his employees were competent, courteous, and responsible. Prior to painting, the crew had to sand off existing paint on drip cap which was done by electric sander, insuring a smooth finish once the drip cap was repainted. Overall, the work was performed with great care and absolute attention to detail. The crew showed up each day ON TIME, worked diligently, and cleaned up after themselves completely. My home looks immeasurably cleaner and neater. I would not hesitate to hire this company again.
