Description of Work: Michael was very helpful when we met and when he began to paint my house. Once I paid him, it took over 3 weeks for him to return to correct some problem areas. He blamed the weather when the skies were dry at my house. When I discovered a stain on one wall, he told me to clean it, saying "when your car is dirty you wash it. You should do the same for your house." I had already washed the area with soap, water and a brush. The new paint had already stained. Now some of the paint at my entrance is peeling and the old paint is clearly visible. He also failed to paint the contrasting color on some of the woodwork, which is part of the architectural design of the house.

Description of Work: The contractor was hire to perform various services: Cleaning, sealing and painting a wood deck. Repairing crack, cleaning and painting a concrete patio. Sealing pavers in a driveway. Powerwashing of the house and fence. Acid washing, sealing, caulking and grouting tiles around a pool area. 1. He did not complete the powerwashing and reacted in a nasty manner when he was shown the debris that was in the hurrane shutters and doorway. 2. The sealing of the driveway was done over debris which is now sealed on the pavers. Only one coat was done when it is clear that it needs two coats. When asked to correct Mr. Marciano wanted additional money to complete the job and was going to seal again over the debris. He again reacted in a nasty manner when asked to remove the debris before sealing. We ultimately decided that he would perform a poor job on the second coat and did not allow him to do it. 3. The paint that was used on the wood deck is not for wood it is for concrete so it is not adhereing to the deck and is bubbling up. When Mr. Marciano was show areas that were bubbling up he claimed that the paint needed to cure over 7 days. It is still bubling up and it has been 10 days. He claimed that the local Sherwin Williams store told him to use that paint and took no responsibility. The (reddish paint) was splattered all over the side of the house and left that way. Mr. Marciano eventually corrected. But it was disturbing that he thought it was Ok to leave it that way. 4. Cracks on the concrete patio were not patched and simply painted over. The cracks are clearly visible again. 5. The paint is also bubbling up on the patio. 6. Acid washing, sealing, caulking and grouting around a pool area was not done or done very poorly. 7. Mr. Marciano or his worker broke the screen door leading to the pool area and left it that way. Mr. Marciano did repair after asking for therepair 2 times. 8. The first day of the service Mr. Marciano left a side door leading to the backyard wide open and a kyack on the front lawn. Whe asked why they did that he resonded that the worker had left for a break and did not return because he thought that it was going to rain.

Description of Work: PAINTED ENTIRE INTERIOR OF HOME, REMOVED WALLPAPER, PATCHED NAIL HOLES AND SMALL CRACKS, PAINTED KITCHEN CABINETS, INSTALLED WAINSCOTING IN ONE ROOM, PAINTED A SMALL PORTION OF EXTERIOR OF THE HOUSE.
