I am updating my previous review, when I said that I prepaid a service for $475 and the work was not done, and that I did not get a refund. After reading my reviews, I got my $475 refund today Thank you

I was very clear what I wanted done: replace a kitchen faucet and fix a noise coming from my water instant heater. Faucet was replaced - was 1st quoted $325 and said no. Then they lowered price to $225 - went on and did it even though it was a lot. Did not have the proper equipment to take care of the noise issue which was my primary item. Gave me a quote for someone to come back - $307 total. This was to flush my heater, redo some copper piping and replace a filter cartridge. They came to take care of that today. Plumber told me he could not do flush without adding more valves, etc. and it would be cheaper to replace the entire heating unit and plumbing to the tune of $1200! What a rip off. Will never do business with these people again and would definitely NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THEM!

He is on time, he knew what he is doing and he did a great job.

At first it went great but when it came down to pricing and follow up the service dropped completely. Took almost two weeks for a quote after I called and left 3 messages.

It all went very well! John Jr. came out on only 1 day's notice. He was well prepared and pulled out the disposal and sink, put all new water valves on, replaced the disposal, faucet, and sink. He caulked it all in and did a great job. Very happy with John The Plumber and will definitely use them again.

It went great! They came out the very same day that we called. It wasn’t an emergency, but they still came when they said and repaired the valve quickly. It was the owners son, John. He was professional and explained what he was doing. It is a family owned company and we have used them several times before. Highly recommended, definitely will use them again.

Replaced a leaky fitting and repaired the same fitting on cold water line. This wasn't an emergency for me since I found the leak and isolated it. I called and they scheduled a crew to come out same day. They even gave me a courtesy call when they left the previous job and informed me they were on the way over. I would definitely recommend and use them again. They were prompt, courteous and professional. Job took about an hour. Will be using them again.

I was having some problems with the toilet flushing and a constant drip in the sink. I called and they were able to come out that morning. He arrived and after checking out the problem he told me he could try to repair the toilet the only problem was I might continue to have problems as the unit looked to be the original that was put in when the house was built. I would be better of replacing the toilet completely, then when he checked the sink he found more problems with the pipes rusting out so all that really needed to be replaced also. When I agreed to the price he went and picked up all necessary supplies. Once back he started working and did not stop until he finished the job. He was even going to replace all the items pulled out from under the sink. I was very impressed with the professionalism that was shown and the work done. I feel the price was reasonable for what was done and am most happy with the results. I will not hesitate to contact John again if and when I need future plumbing repairs done. Thank you for coming so quickly and getting my bathroom back in working order.

I called to make an appointment to have my kitchen sink repaired. I have a constant drip that I have been unable to stop. I called at 7:30 in the morning and explained the problem to the woman who answered the phone. She asked if I already had the replacement faucet just in case the existing faucet could not be repaired. When I said no she asked if I wanted to call back after I went and purchased a replacement faucet. I explained I did not know when I would be able to go buy a faucet and could they just come out and see if something could be done. She said yes I could make an appointment but if it could not be repaired I would still have to pay a service I charge, which I agreed too. She said she was making out the schedule and would call me back once done and let me know when they could come out. While I realized a drippy faucet is not an emergency I did expect a call back the same day even if they could not come out for a day or two. I finally received a call back the next afternoon and as I was out I did not receive the message until after 4:00. I called back and left a message that yes I still needed the sink repaired however I had another problem with my hot water tank leaking out all over my floor. I did receive a call back the next morning but I had already found another plumber, as I was not sure when I would get a call from them. I have had other repairs done by John and the work done was excellent so I was slightly disappointed to have to go to somewhere else to get work done, but did not want to take a chance of not being able to get a plumber out to replace my hot water tank. Perhaps they were just busy when I called about my sink and other people had more serious problems but I never realized I would be expected to have a replacement faucet on hand before calling a plumber. After all when my bathroom sink was replaced they had asked if I wanted to go buy my own faucet or they could bring one to install. I still would still not hesitate to recommend John as he does do excellent work and is his pricing is reasonable, you just might have to wait for an appointment.

Price was as quoted. (it's less expensive if they don't have to go through the roof) It was the 2nd time I had called John the Plumber in 2 years, so yes I would use them again.

He showed up on time, was very pleasant and professional, and fixed it. He had to dismantle the disposal to get to the shut off, and then put it all back together. We are very happy with this transaction.

I callled this provider last June for a different issue and they came very quickly. Therefore, when I was told by ECM the company I have a contract that they won't work on a vessel sink, I called John the Plumber again to see if they could help me. Sonia answered the phone and, as in the past, was so helpful in attempting to schedule a repair as soon as possible. She promised to call when someone could repair the sink. I returned home and within an hour received a call from the plumber that they were in the area and could they come by immediately. WOW, I told them to come and within an hour, the repair was made. I wish they would provide a contract so I could drop plumbing from my service contract as this company is top notch!

It went great. We also have rental property so it's nice to find someone we can rely on and at a fair price.

Our pvc main water line ran across our concrete patio above ground. Before laying a new patio we needed them to chip a small trench, replace with copper and bury the line. During the estimate process, we heard many stories from various plumbers ("out of water for several days", "have to dig through the bedroom floor", etc). John listened to our dilemma over the phone, promptly went to the house to survey the work, called back with an estimate, and once we hired them went straight out to do the work without ever having a face to face meeting. They completed the work in one day and left everything very neat and clean... You could barely tell they were there. What I thought would be a major project turned out to be so easy because of John the Plumber. They also did not ask for any payment until the work was completed in full. I will definitely be using them for all future plumbing needs. Highly recommended!

Great job, reasonable cost would hire again

He came out when he promised. He returned the call immediately, he gave me a courtesy call to tell me he was on his way. When he came down he went straight to his work and was clean, neat, nice, personal and professional.

On their first visit they were unable to find anything of significance but we still had questions so they returned again the next day and looked even more cutting a hole in one of our ceilings trying to find this noise why it was happening they were very courteous and didn't even charge us for the second visit we would highly recommend these Plumbers

They did a great job in unclogging everything. We were pleased with their service. They did the job. We haven't had any problems since. They were courteous and experienced. I thought it would be cheaper but sometimes to get the job done correctly without having to call another person to come out which might cost you a little more. The quality was good. We have no problems since they repaired everything. They were right on time when they said they would be there. They're good. I was very pleased with them.

the work was completed quickly and the fee charged for the repair was fair. However the service call charge of $118 seemed very high. In the future should just make sure to ask what the service charge will be just to come to the house
