Description of Work: July 30, 2008, my kitchen was "demoed. The soffit was removed, leaving a gaping hole in the ceiling and walls. All cabinets and base cabinets were removed, along with the sink. The tile floor was later removed. On Oct. 8, they started electrical work. The kitchen, or what use to be a kitchen, is still in shambles!

+ -1 moreThis has been a nightmare! At the time we signed the contract we paid them $16,000. I was a bit uncomfortable with this. It seemed like the president, John Ostendorf was just too anxious to get that check. Once he had it, getting them to work was like pulling teeth. It took them 9 months to apply for permits. The permits were finally issued in January of 2007. This company has still not completed the job. They demolished our master bath 10 months ago and our bedroom six months ago. I have been sleeping in a construction site for 6 months! In August of 2007 I saw an article about this company in the Sun Sentinel, apparently there are many other unhappy customers. The principles of the company, John Ostendorf and Doug Livingston have 65 felony indictments and will go to trial on February 5th on charges related to their previous company. The BBB gives this company an A- rating!!
Description of Work: We signed a contract with this company in July of 2005 to enclose our patio, and convert it to a master bathroom and office, remodel our bedroom (remove the existing closet and build a new larger closet) and add a screened patio.
