+ -1 moreThey were able to do a fantastic job. They were able to patch a ding in the front door. They used DTM paint since my door is metal. They did a great job covering any of the rust that was on the door. The door is holding up perfectly. No rust has come through the paint. I am happy with the price and professionalism.
Description of Work: The repainted the exterior front door.

+ 0 moreThey did an outstanding job. Better than I expected. In the past have used 9 different companies to pressure clean. But I kept looking for another one bec there was always something mediocre, such as, leaving the dirt on the side of the house, or they'd forget one side of the house, or they'd break something. Hertzell did a high quality job, everything was cleaned, they were punctual and professional. They also did my sister's house and did a great job I will only use them in the future

+ -1 moreHal came out and provided us with a quote for all the work. The fascia was done separately and done nicely. The 2nd group came out and prepared the house for paiting by cleaning, then sealing and then paiting the house. Looks great and the matched the paint as was required by our HOA. Would recommend!
Description of Work: We needed our house painted and some fascia boards replaced as they were rotting.

+ -1 moreAlso, last Sat. a saw a truck with TWO men working on A fence. They might have had other people working in the development but I didn't see anyone. See above for details - they were contracted to paint fenching which included a privacy fence surrounding a patio. .
Description of Work: The property management/homeowners association contracts for the painting of both the exterior and fences of our townhouses. They have used Hartzell several times in the past - I am the original owner of the townhouse (over 20 years). Our units are not painted every year - the last time they painted the fences (a few years ago) they left a note on our doors two days prior to when they were supposed to begin. They listed a phone # on the note - I called to tell the project manager (or person in charge) that two days notice was not sufficient as homeowners could be traveling, etc. He apologized but of course that was after the fact and everyone had to either clear the area of if they were out of town not have their fences painted. This year (late April) a note was left on our doors again with a two day notice to remove anything in the area of the fence which included our patios (which also meant leaving the lock off the gate). No contact information this time around. Plantation has had a rash of break ins through sliding glass doors. Our development has five sets on the ground floor - my home was broken a few months ago so I am very nervous about leaving the gate not secured. No follow up messaging was left on anyones door - the timeframe they specified was not adhered to; they left my fence gate open as well as the screen door and broke my security company sign. On Mon. or Tues. of this week I noticed that they had at least painted the front fence. I had closed my fence gate and screen door minus the lock. I leave early in the morning and arrive home late so I am not sure if they bothered completing painting the perimeter fence that surrounds the patio since I had closed both out of concern I have no choice in who is selected for painting our sub division. Maybe this feedback will get someone's attention regarding the lack of customer service and follow up by the company. I can assure you my neighbors are very unhappy as well.

+ -1 moreThey were courteous and stopped at every villa to see if people were happy with the job. If there was stuff leaning against the house, they had them move it. They did a good job.
