HALLMARK VINYL IMPROVEMENT CO

Well my Dad's place was destroyed by Irma. The work that was done by Hallmark is what caused the destruction. Everything that they repaired came off. The elite roof was held on by 2 inch screw the roof was off over the neighborhood. The construction of the the wood under the roof had no support beams or cross braces. I have pictures of the poor construction! For the price they paid you would expect the work to last more than 12 years. His home was the one on in the neighborhood what was damaged what does that tell you!

I contacted Sheila in mid December to get a quote on approximately 250'x18" vinyl soffit. I had been told by another vinyl company that the new construction that I was doing needed to be firred out so that the material could be attached on no more than 12" centers. Sheila told me that was incorrect. (she later confirmed that I did indeed need to fir it out ) She offered to provide both a quote on materials as well as an installed price. I said great. She said the quote would be ready in a day or two. A few weeks go by and no quote. I called Sheila back. She said they were too backed up to do the install. I said OK, can you provide the quote on the materials. She said I would have it within a day. Towards the end of January I had not received the quote. I was having a hard time finding quality material at Lowes, 84 lumber and Home Depot, they only sold a flimsy material. So I called back Hallmark (Sheila) She apologized and said she would have a quote to me in a day. I waited a day and a half checking my spam filter periodically. I called and she said she had sent the quote. This was the content of the quote; "Received pricing from suppliers and one will be increasing prices on Monday, so based on our conversation, I'm pricing your fully vented soffit with channel at roughly $550.00 plus tax/delivery based on pre-increase pricing." So I sent her an email that outlined what I thought I needed as far as quantities of various materials to make sure that what she was quoting would cover the area I needed. I also asked what Mfr and Model of vinyl panel she was quoting to make sure it wasn't the same flimsy stuff sold by Lowes, et al. She called my office, and when I called her back she wouldn't give me any further information, her excuses for not giving me further information included 1) They really didn't sell material. (She offered to sell me the material in the beginning) 2) She had an arrangement with the other vinyl installer where they didn't compete on each other's jobs. 3) She didn't like providing details because then I might go shop around for a better price. (I had already told her I would buy from her if she gave me the details I needed) If you can get past Sheila and get a quote and don't try to get a competitive bid, they may (or may not) do a good job.

They are an excellent company! No nonsense here, they show up on time, their work is impeccable because they pay attention to detail. For sure you will get your moneys worth! I have called them back fir a third job I wish them to do. When my son purchased a mobile home, I called them to vinyl side it. The improvement brought many great comments from the other residents. When my sold it two years later it was on the market for four days.
