Gary the Plumber

It was fine. He was prompt and quick. He did the work well.

He showed up on time and was very professional. He did an excellent job, I had 6 other plumbers come out in the past that could not resolve this issue which he did on the first time.

I called Gary after I discovered a big leak in the bathroom the first night in a newly purchased home. When Gary arrived I had a punch list from leak, to dripping faucet, to not enough hot water etc. Gary and his father did a walk-thru of all the bathrooms, kitchen and water heater to check for issues. Very prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Gary is the only "vendor" Ive used since moving that I would call again and recommend

He is excellent and he is my go to guy. He is friendly and his prices are reasonable. He does the work and tells me the price ahead of time. I wished I could give him an A+.

Great. We have used Gary several times. He is always available. He has flexible times (not just 9-5) and is very accommodating. Gary is also very polite and honest.

The plumber that came was friendly and highly competent. He has tons of expreience which allowed him to figure out what was going on quickly and fix the leak correctly the first time. He cleaned up the small mess that comes with doing a repair and actually left the tub cleaner than when he arrived. If you need plumbing work done, I would highly recommend contacting Gary.

I had a bad diverter and handshower in our bathtub. I had bought a new diverter and hand shower with all the parts but was too chicken to put it in myself. I have used plumbers in the past, but there are some pretty weird guys out there. I saw Gary the Plumber on Angies list and called him. He came out and looked at it and said I actually bought the wrong diverter, but he could make it work by buying a part. He left and came back later the same day and did the repair to the PENNY of his estimate. Plus, as a bonus he was a nice guy and had a BRAIN. That's always nice when dealing with people.

On time, polite, clean, does not talk much. I will call him again in the future.

He is a great guy and did a terrific job. He was clear and accurate in his description of the work. I was told originally by other providers. I might need to go back to the installers that originally did the work. Gary was able to complete the work in a little under an hour. He is very good at what he does, he cleaned up his work and it was exactly the way I left it. When he took out the sink it all fell apart something you could not see with the naked eye that other companies just wanted to reglaze. The most important thing is he was able to resolve the issue oiver the phone which other companies were not able to do in their descriptions.

The repairs and price were exactly as he stated; the work was done in a professional manner and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone or to call him again myself.

On Wednesday evening, October 8th, we experienced a blockage in the toilet on the master bath. My wife and I both made numerous attempts with two different types of plungers to clear the blockage but were unable to do so. Thus, on Thursday morning, I accessed Angie's List and searched for a plumber. "Gary the Plumber" was at the top of the list, held an "A" rating and had excellent reviews, including the fact that his father had recently joined in to work with him. I gave him a call around mid-morning. He advised that he was in Sunrise on a job, had one more call there, and would then come up to Coral Springs, where we live. Then he double-checked with us that we could wait that time, which I found very professional. Had we had an emergent situation, he probably would have come immediately. I confirmed that his original schedule was fine. He arrived within 90 minutes and I brought him into the Master Bath. I explained what had happened the evening before and that this commode was a new, low-volume, high-pressure model. He then went out to his truck and brought in a manual auger. Within several minutes, the auger had broken through the blockage. He then tested the flushing capacity of the commode using toilet tissue, strips of newspaper, and paper towels. It worked fine each time. Gary then suggested to us that it would be worth our while to purchase an auger similar to his, as it was much more effective on this types of blockages than plungers. And it would allow us to solve a similar problem on our own, with an investment of approximately $40.00, instead of having to call a professional plumber and spend three times that amount, for the same end result. He then returned to his truck to return the tool and write the bill. We found Gary to be a very personable young man, as well as an excellent plumber. He was polite and prompt, features we do not always find in South Florida service people. My only reason for the one "B" rating I gave was the price charged of $120.00, for the 15-20 minutes of time he was here. Would I recommend him to my friends and neighbors? Unhesitatingly. He was definitely the right person for our needs and yes, I will definitely call him again, should the need arise.

Gary and his father diagnosed a slab leak in our master bathroom and fixed it promptly and professionally. They were very responsive and arrived when they said they would. The only negative thing I can say is that I did not receive an estimate of the work and have no way to compare the price to someone else. Would certainly use them again for another plumbing job.

I hired Gary to replace an old water heater. He answers his phone personally. His quote was equal to the best I had obtained after contacting a few plumbers. He opted to replace the valve, but did not charge an extra for this. While he was there, I also asked him to change a shower valve, install a new tub faucet & rough and cap another pipe for me. Everything was done professionally, at a reasonable rate, and Gary was courteous and worked hard to complete everything on time. I would not hesitate to hire him again and I highly recommend him.

I had a MOEN Posi-Temp handle break off due to a snapped cartridge stem which made me have to turn the water off to the entire house to stop water from spraying everywhere. I called Gary after hours to report this issue and he answered and told me he would be there the next day. Gary showed up the next day as scheduled with the part and the tools to remove the broken cartridge and was able to fix everything very quickly.

He came out on time and was very friendly and professional. Got the job done and went the extra mile by grouting the toilet down instead of quickly caulking as most others would. Thanks Gary, Great Job.

Ron was to arrive at 9 am. He arrived at 9:15, but called and said he would be about 15 minutes late. Ron did the actual install. Once in, he went about his business.Gary came back to check everything. They left and I discovered some water under the sink. I called and they came right back. Pulled out everything under the sink, climbed under the sink, tightened up something and all was fine.

He showed up on time, did the work in a professional manner and all went well. He was clean and I have no complaints. The work was performed in Palm Beach County at a rental unit.

Gary worked us into his schedule on short notice. His father arrived on time and did a great job in no time at all.

I spoke with Gary on Sunday about my shower, shortly after Home Depot more or less sent me into a panic. Home Depot stated the need for ripping out the valve through the wall or tile. Basically a big mess. Gary said it could be another much smaller problem. We set up an appointment for Monday morning to take care of things. I felt really bad as I found out he was out with his family while talking to me. I then got called into work early on Monday and thus had to reschedule my appointment for Wednesday. Gary was very understanding. On Wednesday, Ron came out to fix the problem. Not only was he prompt but very prepared. The problem was indeed a minor one. I appreciate how flexible and professional they both were. They turned what could be an extremely stressful situation for me into a very routine and painless procedure. Thank you both.

Gary the Plumber was at my house within half an hour of speaking with him. My adult son let him in and said he went right to work. He reworked the pipes and fixed the leaks. He had what the parts he needed on the truck. Took my payment over the phone and generally made the entire process convenient, pleasant and easy. Then he took my little dog for a walk and that's reason he's the only plumber... Just kidding about the dog. But, not about Gary. I was very pleased with his work and will definitely call Gary the Plumber again.

I called and spoke to Ron, who said he could be at her house by 11am and he was. Ron is the man you PRAY will respond when you call for a plumber. I had already gone to Home Depot and purchased 2 different shower/ tub pull out handles, but they did not fit. It was the original handle in a house that was built in the 1950s and was so rusted it could not be pushed in or pulled out. Ron worked on it for quite a while, determined to fix it. Due to the age of the bath he was forced to make a couple of trips out, trying to find compatible parts....my point is, he NEVER gave up. Thank you, Ron, my friend cried tears of joy when she saw what you accomplished and Thank you too,Gary, for having a co worker as professional and skilled as Ron. Kathy Dillon

Some delay in being reached by Gary, but once we got together he set up an appointment, was on time and quickly performed service.

Our hot water heater was leaking and we called a few plumbers for quotes....Gary's quote was competitive and within a few hours he was at the house and replaced the water heater in a professional, competent manner. we would definitely call on him again for future plumbing needs.

There were no troubles with scheduling. The plumber diagnosed the problem through the deal and there were additional fees for them to complete the repair. I paid for additional costs with the repair of the leak. The plumber was great! Everything was fine and I was satisfied with the work.
