Gary the Plumber

This gentleman is fantastic. He is very professional. I called to make an appointment over a weekend, and he took my call even though he was on vacation. He fit me right into his schedule first thing the next Monday morning! He was punctual, efficient, and friendly. I really appreciated the quality work he performed and the fact that he did not try to up sell me or sell me additional products. I can see why he has an award winning business! If you need a plumber, this is your guy!

We have used Gary and his Dad in the past, so when we were having a problem with my parents shower, we called Gary. He came right on time and diagnosed the problem. It was a simple fix, something we should have thought of, but didn't. Gary made the correction and wished us well. No Charge!

Gary and his father were fantastic. The jobs were well done, with both gentlemen keeping the job sites clean (a big deal for me) and both were professional and friendly. Gary gave me a heads up on the new hot water tanks coming out that would be more expensive then the models currently available (new efficiency standards) so we purchase the tank prior to my needing it installed. He also suggested I upgrade to a 40 gal. tank from a 30 (which was 26 years old) because it wouldn't cost any more on the electricity but would provide better resale value to the house, if I ever decided to sell. I have already recommended him to a friend who is going to use his services and would not hesitate to suggest him to any one who needs the services of a reliable, responsible, reasonably priced plumber.

Excellent. Plumber was on time and very professional. After finishing job Gary left the area clean and tidy. Would recommend and will use this company in the future.

He phoned me as I left in my original message first thing in the morning the next business day to discuss a scheduled time for the install. The day of the install he was on time, very friendly, neat and clean, which is hard to find here in sunny south Florida. Very professional and I would defiantly call on him again.

Excellent- initially we had lapse between the order and provider response due to technical reasons. The job was completed on my first choice date and the Plummer was neat and had new disposal installed within 45 minutes. If you need a Plummer, I recommend this company.

Sorry it took so long to write this review. I had been having terrible problems with a 22 yr old washer overflowing from the drainage pipe. I called Gary and was so happy he could fit me in the same day I called. He was prompt, explained everything to me, snaked the pipe twice (including with the washer draining) and put a clamp on the hose. But that's not the best part. As he was leaving I mentioned I had been dealing with low water pressure for the 16 yrs I have lived in the house. He asked where I had the problem. I showed him the kitchen faucet and he changed a simple part and I suddenly had great pressure. After 16 yrs,,,lol Then I asked him to look at the bathroom where we had replaced the guts from the toilet tank a yr ago and had been having to hold down the handle to flush the toilet (I know way to much info...). In two minutes he fixed that, too. Great price, great service, great guy. I have a new favorite plumber!

Technician came in, confirmed my issue and changed the garbage disposal based on my complain about a leak. He also provided some feedback on how to best care for the garbage disposal which should have been common knowledge, but not practical for the common user. He checked the functions ensure I was comfortable with outcome and showed me how to troubleshoot the issue in future (if needed). I would use this service again. If you are supposed to receive a discount by using Angies list, it's not automatic, ask for it.

I had already disconnected the old water heater and purchased the new one. Found Gary on AngiesList and called; he had some personal goings-on that night but agreed to come out and do the install after he was done. I described my situation (traditional water heater in corner of garage, no space limitations on any side or above, almost identical size replacement unit) and we agreed on a price. He arrived within 20 minutes of his estimated arrival time. Very professional, worked quickly and within 90 minutes it was all hooked up! Turned it on and... error code, something about a temperature sensor misbehaving. We took off the control panel and discovered a disconnected wire (thanks, Rheem). Plugged it in and the water heater came to life. He stayed until we were sure the tank was heating and then he left with the old water heater in his truck. One of the best measures of a company is how they respond when things go wrong. About 15 minutes after Gary left, I noticed a small leak from the cold water shutoff valve (not his fault, it was a manufacturing defect). Called Gary and he quickly returned without arguing and replaced the leaky valve. Could not have asked for a better experience. This is what you get when you hire someone that's not part of a big franchise; Gary cares about his work and is quick to respond to issues, no getting approval from the boss or whatnot or worries about after hours service calls to get it done. Would definitely hire again.

Very approachable and came to my aid within a few hours after I called. The leak was really bad! They fixed what was a nightmare for me and my girlfriend for the last three days within 10 minutes. The leak damaged our walls and Ceilings to the point to where they have to be replaced. They also gave fare and reasonable prices for the work that they provided.

Very well we will invite back.

Called Gary for clogged kitchen drain about 9:30 am and he said that there were some other calls ahead of me and that it would be late afternoon before he could get to me (I was thinking 4 to 4:30). He called about 2:15 and said he would be there in about 20 to 30 minutes which was about 2 hours before I expected hm to show up. His reviews were right on. Very nice and had everything he needed to remove the clog in the sink. He tried one snake from inside that was not long enough so used a second larger one from outside which was able to clear it. While he was working I asked if he had time to check my water heater as I thought it ran out of hot water fairly fast. He said he did and found that it had a bad thermostat so we replaced both upper and lower thermostats which he had on his truck and we now have plenty of hot water. Gary gave me an estimate of $155 over the phone for the clog and that is what it was plus $51 for the two thermostats. One call two problems fixed, great price and I now have a plumber for the future.

Great! Gary wasn't the absolute cheapest option but he completed the work with high quality and efficiency.

After coming to my home to assess the service/work requested, the provider advised that he would get back to me by the end of the week with some prices on new sinks and faucets for my kitchen sink replacement. When I did not hear from him by Friday, I began having reservations about this company's professionalism. On the following Thursday, 2/19/15 at 1:23pm, I attempted contact via phone. I left a message including my contact information (which has not changed) at the providers listed contact # (754)-264-6147 asking for a return phone call. I did not receive a call back. On 2/23/15 at 4:55pm, I initiated a phone call again, and was able to have a conversation with the provider. He said he had given the specifications regarding the sink to his "guy" who had yet to get back to him with any pricing information. He also said he would contact him again for an update, then get back to me. It is now 3/3/15, and I have yet to receive a call back. It has been 3 weeks since my initial face-to-face conversation with this provider. All subsequent communication has been initiated by me, and I have yet to receive further communication or pricing information from this provider. I am disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and customer care from this company.

Went well. He noticed, while he was here, that we weren't getting the pressure we should be getting in that sink, so he inspected the faucet and within 10 minutes, had that fixed, too. Nice.

Ron was awesome. He was professional, very prompt, and fixed everything. I highly recommend this plumber.

Ron replaced the pipe and associated valves. He also replace a section that was later discovered to have been damaged. He took enough time to do a thorough job.

For the kitchen sink he was to replace a hose that was leaking. I also told him of how the pressure of my faucet was low when hot water was on. He showed me an example of a new faucet he had in his van that he thought would be something I might like as a replacement. I simply said lets do this. Install it now and I will pay for it. Gary said its chrome so I will have to get you a brushed nickel. Then he said he would go to Home Depot at that moment and replace it. He did it and was through in such a short time. This was something that was not planned and he had told me earlier that day his schedule was full. He went above and beyond. Feels good to write about Gary!! Thanks

Gary was exceptionally responsive. We conversed first by email, then on the phone. He always responded quickly and had correct information. He helped us choose the correct product from Home Depot, picked it up for us on his way to the appointment so that we did not have to bother, and completed the installation in less than an hour. He showed up early, was neat in both his appearance and work habits, and in general delivered more than I expected. I would definitely use his services anytime I need a plumber.
