I waited two weeks for an appointment. I took everything off the walls. Company was a no show no call. Had to hire someone else.

STAY AWAY! For yours and your family's sake, please stay as far away from G&J as possible. They agreed on a price for a smaller painting job that they knew I needed completed by a certain date due to a warranty. Then, just 48 hours before the job, they reached out demanding an almost 30% higher price claiming higher material costs were the sole reason. Suspicious, I called Sherman Williams to inquire and learned there was a nominal difference in price on just one can of paint for part of the job. I offered to pay this difference (~5% of job cost), but no more. They agreed and had the paint sent to my house for the job to begin the next morning. On the day of the job, they dubiously asked to reschedule. I reluctantly accepted as long as they got it done before my warranty lapsed. Later on the initially intended day of the job, one of their workers showed up unannounced and called the owner/manager while at my front door. They proceeded to tell me they needed to charge over 60% more than the upwardly revised price they just agreed to the day before! During the course of this invasive front door call, they denied asking for the initial increase, as well as agreeing to the second price that accounted for my paint preference--yet all of this is in a text thread! Of course, I gave them their paint, told them to leave, and informed them I'd be sharing this horrendous experience with the online world. I believe they're guilty of extorsion under the circumstances. Fellow consumers, please give them what they deserve, while saving yourself, and call someone else. Please tell your family and friends to do the same.

From the initial proposal working with their office staff to the completion of the exterior painting of our home, G & J Painting proved to be an exceptional company! They were professional, on time, reasonably priced. meticulous and their paint work was excellent! Would highly recommend them!

He scheduled the pressure washer on a specified date (1 man) as well as the painting (3 men). Both groups were on-time and professionally done. I've used G&J before and have always been more than satisfied with their work. Excellent value for the money.

They did a great job on a scale of 1 to 10 i would give them a 10. There was some damage to a sprinkler and the owner himself went to home depot and got the items to repair it and he repaired it himself.

My 3100 sq. foot house was all done in one day. Only one person in the crew was speaking few words in english. So communication was major issue. Owners of the painting company never bother to show up or ask if I'm satisfied. Job is done quickly without attention to details. For example, exterior security lights were also painted. Entrance door and garage doors have visible paint drops and lines. They came back few times to try to correct but I just gave up at the end. I wouldn't use them next time.

Timely.professional. very prompt. Minor issue with window cemented, they promptly came next day and fixed.

EXCELLENT! I could not be happier. I contacted John when I purchased my home and made arrangements to meet with him for a more accurate estimate (as one was provided over the phone) right after my closing. They started the job 2 days later and after 1 1/2 days the job was completed (2000 sq ft of interior painting). The crew (Flavio and 2 others) were professional, clean, attention to detail and courteous. I would highly recommend them and use them in the future if needed. The cost was $1900.

We called G and J because they painted a homen in our neighborhood. Guliermo came the next day and gave us a quote to paint our home with pressure washing included. We paid $100 extra to get the roof painted and approx $500 for an additional coat of sherwin williams paint. The pressure washing was done in a day and the painting took 3 days due to a 1 day rain delay reschedule. The 1st painting day was done with 2 painters and the 2nd day with 1 painter. All of our Painting was done with care and professionalism, just as if the painter was painting his own home. I would definitely use the services of this comapny again!!!

As with anything, everything is in the details. The contract called for pressure washing, with no specified pressure. The individual showed up and seemed to spray the outside with something that smelled like bleach, the using a pressure washer with low pressure rinsed, not pressure washed the house. So make sure you know what you are getting.

Guillermo came out to give the estimate and did a walk around with me and told me I could be on the schedule in as soon as two weeks. They were referred to me by two neighbors so I signed his bid with no money down. Painting took two days and when it was done was when they wanted payment. The painters are extremely careful in regards to lawn ornamentals and made sure to cover anything up if there was a chance for over spray. I have since referred them to my in-laws and some clients of mine.

G and J were prompt in responding to our request for information. They were very reasonably priced. A couple of days after our initial contact, the work was completed. The work is high quality and the clean up was thorough. We couldn't ask for better.

Services and costs were clearly laid out in a contract before hand. No upfront costs. We wanted the house painted in original colors and G & J Painting were able to match the exact paint from a 14 yr old dried paint sample stored in a paint can. They initiated and completed the job as advertised. Unfortunately, during painting an elevated lawn sprinkler and a small coach light were damaged. They were immediately replaced with new fixtures by G & J Painting. This company is amongst the most professional I've ever dealt with and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

two days prior to painting the guy who pressure washed the house arrived. he was very nice and did a fabulosu job, he explained all teh work he was about to do. i was concerned about the tile roof but he assured me no harm would come to the roof with their method of pressure washing. he was right. two days later the painters arrived at 8am promply and began their task of masking off windows etc. next the house was spray sealed and then shortly there after the painting process began. the house was sprayed and rolled i was very happy with the job and professinal way the workers went about their task. t owner stopped by to make sure i was pleased and then went about his business. i understand this company ( Gand J painting ) is not a member or 'list' but i did see a couple of reviews. thus i felt compelled to write about ther good work and professional attitude.

Quick and Dirty is my thought. The pressure cleaning was pretty standard and I have no issues there. However, the painting is where I had issues. It took 2.5 days because of the weather. On day one they painted the roof ? I had to ask the painters to cover my neighbor?s car because of the over spray; later I will explain this problem. They were to spray primer first before painting, but the guy wanted to mix the primer with the paint and do everything in one shot. I requested it be separate steps and he wasn?t too happy about that. I read the primer instruction and it was suppose to be a 1:3 ratio of primer to water, but he just poured the primer in the bucket and filled it without measuring. It appeared to be more than the 1:3 ratios. When spraying the primer, it appeared that he went as fast as he could spray the primer and I doubt it was evenly applied. When it came time for painting the roof, the paint was not applied evenly and there were lines forming where the spray pattern was overlapping with the previous spray pattern. I had to call that out to the painter and also call one of the owner about the issue. The painter ?disagreed? with the spray pattern, but eventually agreed to re-spray the roof. The weather had deteriorated that day and so most of the roof was painted with the visible spray pattern. The painter said he re-sprayed one side later, but in my opinion, it doesn?t appear to be. I could not contest because I didn?t see him redo it. On day two they painted the walls - On this day, they finished up the other half of the roof and started spraying the walls. The helper did a decent job taping up windows, doors, trims and etc. but later I found out that it wasn?t completely taped well and when I opened some doors, they stuck to the frame and the floor under the door was painted. The most of the soffits had a quite a bit of paint on them and the underside of the roof fascia were not painted evenly. They painted the garage door but the painter was surprised and upset that it was suppose to be 2 colors when I told them and this was already agreed upon ahead of time. On the extra half day they repainted the roof ? on day one they repainted one side of the roof and on this day, they needed to repaint the other side yet again because of the spray pattern. They didn?t cover my neighbor?s cars and the overspray went all over them. After the painters left I noticed it and I had to wash all the cars (3) as my neighbors were out of town and I didn?t have the keys to move their car before the work started. I didn?t bother telling the company because I pretty much figured no action would be taken after having to call them several times about other issues in how my house was being painted. I paid them half on the second day and the rest on the half-day. I refused their request for a full payment at the end of the 2nd day since the roof needed to be re-sprayed. Other details ? I did ask if they would be repairing the trim around the walls and windows where some rust had set in. It?s a minor issue in my opinion and they said they would fix it, but the painter simply painted over it. They were suppose to remove the affected area and stucco over it. The rust has now emerged and I will need to repair and repaint it. The painters weren?t the cleanest and did leave a couple hand-full of trash around my house and some paint marks on the floor here and there. Spraying a wall is fine if it?s covered completely, but if not sprayed correctly, the direction of spray only covers one side, per se and the other side may be lacking. This was the case when looking down the wall. Looking up was fine, but if you were elevated and looked down, you would see unpainted parts of the wall. I had to call that out a couple times so they would back-role the area for complete coverage. They WERE the cheapest quote and overall did a decent job for the money. The contract only states 1 coat. I don't think I would hire them again, but if I were, it would be for a simple job only.

Roof was pressure washed days before building was prepped for painting. Workers arrived on time on prescribed day for painting. External property was protected and building was prepped before any work began. Three men worked as a team to prime, paint, and trim my home. All work was on the exterior of my home. When rain started, workers discontinued painting and returned the next day to finish painting my home. Workers touched up areas in need of touch up and cleaned up debris. The team supervisor and I did a final inspection of all work that was done prior to payment for the services performed. Gand J did an outstanding job and I will consider them for paint jobs in the future.

It went well. They did a good job. I was happy with them. It was good price. They were efficient.

They were prompt and provided the service that they said they were going to do. Their price was low as well.

He was competitive with his price, called to say he would run 30 minutes late (nobody in South Florida thinks about that), did an excellent job and cleaned everything up after he was done. The patio was really dark due to white fly residue and he made the pavers look like new. Guillermo is definitely worth his money!

Arrived on time. Pressure cleaning crew did not speak english. Sub-contractor did the painting. Completed the job in a timely manner and the work was well done. Could have cleaned up the paint drops off driveway. I purchased the paint.
