Florida Quality Roofing

I did a lot of research before interviewing roofers. Florida Quality Roofing (FQR) was completely knowledgeable about the Certainteed Integrity Roofing System & the Owens Corning Total Protection Roofing System when I asked. FQR is certified by both manufacturers. These in-house designed products offer the highest warranties for shingle roofing systems. FQR has a great pre-construction communication process whereas there is nice sit down meeting with the owner, German, and the Project Manager to discuss the complete project from start to finish so the customer is fully informed about the process and preparations. FQR personnel went at my large roof early the first day and had the old roof completely removed and dried in on the first day. It was a long day. The Project Manager was on site all day, every day, except for a few material runs. FQR accomplished daily clean up work of removed roof materials and using large magnets to collect nails. FQR was completely responsive immediately to any questions I had or details I noticed. Except for two rainy days, FQR was on site working from start date to completion date. Final Inspection completed a couple days later. Pricing was good also. Not the lowest but also, not the most expensive. I definitely recommend Florida Quality Roofing. I did not record the total pricing in this review because pricing is completely based upon square footage and each roof is different.

I was hired to work for Florida Quality Roofing by German Duarte the owner of the company. As a 1099 employee I worked on a 100% straight commission. Everything seemed pretty good to start off with the company but after a while German would disappear for days on end and I would not be able to get ahold of him. He would show up at the office once a week and communication with him started to dwindle. I had trouble getting answers for customers but I continued to sell jobs. After selling several jobs, German refuse to pay me on the commission stating he didn’t have the money. I tried to work it out with him amicably but he wouldn’t answer my calls and text messages. I am not sure if he is suffering financial hardship or if he is just a bad person that took advantage of me and my trusting of his word. I would warn anybody if they are looking for a sales job with FQR. If he can do this to an employee who is making him money image what he might due to future customers.

FL Quality Roofing did everything promised and more. We had 4 estimates before choosing this firm and this was definitely the right decision. From their initial presentation to final cleanup, they kept in constant contact. We received pics during the process, and multiple emails to keep us informed of the schedule (lots of rain down here and that can disrupt work). We had a metal roof installed in a spectacular copper color and can't be more pleased with the outcome. We've had additional projects done with other companies, and I just wish they all had the same attention to detail and follow through, German and Stella were always available if I had any questions. The crew doing the work were very respectful and when doing the final cleanup, even picked up some branches I had waiting for trash day! Truly a pleasure using this company, wish they had more business ventures. We won't ever need another roof, but if we did, would choose them again.

I was getting ready to do a complete re-roof on my house through another roofing company I had previously worked with for multiple leak repairs, as my roof was failing due to age. After consulting with my financial advisor (as this is a major and very important expense), he strongly recommended that I contact Florida Quality Roofing to get a quote based on recommendations and feedback he got from a great many of his clients that used them. Boy am I glad I took his advice! Florida Quality Roofing did a wonderfully job on my project and were a pleasure to work with during all phases of the project! Their professionalism is unsurpassed, as was their communication and superior workmanship (from other re-roof jobs in the neighborhood that I have seen)…and you’re working direct with the owners of the company and not sales reps. What I learned from my project, is the adage…”you get what you pay for”…is absolutely true. I found the previous repairs I had done via another roofing company did not meet/deliver on what was contracted (like replacing rotted deck wood, etc.) and that other proposals I got for my complete re-roof project from several other known roofing companies, ended up being a bait and switch (lower rates to get the business, knowing the cost was going to significantly increase to include things that would need to be done…but not included in their respective proposals… to get a complete new roof). Once those added costs were factored in, Florida Quality Roofing ended up being extremely competitive in price, but with superior workmanship. They are up front, honest and extremely trustworthy They deliver exactly what they promise, great quality work, great communication and at a very competitive price! If your needing a new roof or any repairs to your existing roof, I highly recommend you contact Florida Quality Roofing. It will be the best decision you make!

I had a great experience with this company for a roof repair. They arrived on time and did the work in a timely fashion. They sent pictures of the work which showed what the roof looked like before, during and after the repair was completed. They did a great job and I highly recommend them.

Our experience with FQR has been amazing and excellent, we cannot Recommend them more! They are an extremely unique company that takes their job very seriously and above all they put you, the client, as their top priority. Highly recommend this company. I received a proposal the day after I called, work started within a week, and finished right on time. The owners communicated with me throughout the entire process.

Honestly, I can't say enough positive things about FQR. From the start, German was exceptionally informative and professional - and while I can almost promise their proposal won't be the cheapest, (i) you get what you pay for and (ii) they don't sub out the work - German himself will be involved in the project and their workers are employees. I'll let him explain why this is so important, but it obviously adds some cost. While we initially thought we wanted a metal roof, we ended up maintaining the "feel" of our home and opted for tiles. The roof came out incredible! The process was super efficient with very little wasted time (we had a permit within two weeks of signing the contract; tear-off days later; and once tiles were delivered it was another couple days until completion). Permits, inspections, improvements to code, etc. - they took care of it all. It's also worth noting that they took incredible precaution in protecting the property (covering pool, steps, patio, side lawns, etc. - they left the site clean after each and every day). The whole team (Stella, Josselyn, German) place a focus on customer service - I can't tell you how refreshing this is, espec in SoFL. Email updates, photos, calls - they are on top of everything. Highly, highly recommend... but really hope I don't see them anytime soon :)

Well, We looked at so many roofing companies before choosing Florida Quality Roofing. This is just like they say. It's not just a roofing company, this is, THE Roofing Company. The whole process went very smooth, very professional, very organized. I noticed that, they take pride in what they do, and how they do it. They even changed our skylight on the roof. I usually do inspections in properties around Dade and Broward Counties, and I will definitely recommend Florida Quality Roofing to my colleges, friends and family members. They will go trough the whole process, and you wont notice it around your property, very clean all around. There is a lot of roofing companies, but this one? German, a co-owner of the company, provided a timely estimate of costs and a time frame for obtaining permits and doing the repair. He was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. His workers were incredibly hard working; they are long time employees rather than day laborers hired per the job. We would not hesitate to recommend Florida Quality Roofing – an A+++ company.

After much research on roof coatings and roof coating pros, I chose Florida Quality Roofing based on the quality product use of Henry ProGrade High Solids Silicone Restoration Coatings and the professionalism and expertise of President/Co-owner German Duarte in addition to favorable reviews by previous customers. I definitely made the right decision. The FQR team is top notch; timely, detail oriented, respectful of customer property, efficient, professional and hard working. I have had many renovations to my property and my experience with this company is the best from proposal to restoration completion. I highly recommend them for the superb customer experience and ease of the whole process.

Florida Quality Roofing is a breath of fresh air when you live in Miami-Dade County... a true five star company that delivers. The owner was very professional from the first contact to the last. We received a package of information upon signing of the contract along with proof of licensing and insurance. Pictures were sent to document all wood damage and pictures of project progress were also provided. Florida Quality Roofing gets an A+ for giving us 100% service. Florida Quality Roofing provided us with outstanding services. After a good recommendation from a neighbor, several other roofing appraisals, and the most comprehensive review and appraisal from German/ Florida Quality Roofing we decided to go with them. Knowing absolutely nothing about roofing, except the horror stories from others, we were apprehensive, but we learned what to expect in detailed terms about time frames, labor and costs. It all went exactly as described. The entire job from start to end was professional, thorough and efficiently completed. The necessary permits and city inspections were coordinated by the company, the crew was courteous and worked consistently. They cleaned and cleared all debris and roof materials daily from the front door and sidewalk and the back patio into their dumpster brought to the site. German, Stella and Rodolfo were available at all times for any questions. The final costs included some anticipated replacement on the decking, but in the range we discussed, and the finished roof looks very nice. I recommend Florida Quality Roofing, not because the new roof is great,(it is) but also because the entire experience was so positive from beginning to end. The leak was from a window air conditioner. He would not accept a fee for his time for a service call.

WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCES THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY CAME WITH THE WORKERS,EXPLAINING WHAT WAS TO BE DONE. THE WORKERS WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL,WITH THE WORK PROVIDED TOP NOTCH. MY SHRUBS PLANTS AND CHAIRS WERE COVERED TO PROTECT THEM.I WAS AMAZED TO SEE ONE OF THE WORKERS PRESSURE CLEANING THE PATIO WHEN THEY WERE DONE. I WOULD NOT HESITATE IN THE LEAST TO USE THEM AGAIN.

The owners and employees of FQR are really incredible. Not a word I would usually associate with a roofing company, but they are truly utmost professionals and true to their word. German's knowledge and patience is vast, Stella has made sure that everything from initial quote to final inspection went flawlessly. The process went better than I ever expected. From the beginning, the owners, Stella and German, explained everything in detail (warranties, time line, etc). The workers were respectful of my property and I was especially impressed that they were all fully uniformed and had lots of safety equipment. All of the city inspections passed the first time, and the job was completed on time, with out any surprises. I would reccomend Florida Quality Roofing to anyone. They are truly professional.

I am a home inspector and have been using Florida Quality Roofing for a couple of years and had very good positive experiences with them. I recently worked with them on a particular house that was out of the norm and I did not expect their level of professionalism and expertise. German Duarte the owner came out and did the inspection himself. He took lots of pictures and provided a very thorough report with many recommendations that went above and beyond. One of the main issues was an artificial green roof that was done a few years ago, this particular roof deterred many other companies from coming out because they did not have experience with it.. German on the other hand was well educated with this roof and was able to provide details that were very helpful. Additionally, he spotted some maintenance issues that need to be resolved and provided a cost for that. I feel very comfortable with the recommendations and overall I was happy with their response and professionalism,

By far, Florida Quality Roofing is the most professional roofing company I have ever dealt with. In the property management business (especially in South Florida), you never know if the contractor is going to show up on time, or even show up at all! German was on - time and very professional. We didn't receive an "estimate", we received a complete proposal that details exactly the scope of work, materials, etc. Florida Quality Roofing is our "go to" for all things roof related. We will recommend them to the single family home all the way to our Condo Association Boards. If you have a condo or mutliple condo buildings to either maintain the roof, or replace, then Florida Quality Roofing is the company that you need to do that for you.
