Initial contact with Kevin at my home was informative. We agreed to install a heat pump instead of a solar heater due to our roof configuration. The crew showed up on time and did a great job installing the unit. they fully explained how the the unit operates. The job was completed in around 2 hours. These guys are pros.......

Transaction and installation went exactly as the company had promised. Kevin came out and quoted a very competitive price, explained the product throughly, answered all the questions I had and explained the expectations for the system they were installing. He didn't try to over sell products as some of the other vendors did. Very smooth installation as well. Installers were here right on time, were very aware of working on the roof, were very professional at all times. Cleaned the work area completely and were very willing to explain the system, how to use it and things we could do to get more from the system. Very happy with the system so far gained 10 degrees in one day in the pool water temp. We should be swimming by the weekend.

When installed it sounded like someone banging a hammer from the inside. I called and they sent someone by and they said it was fine. I then sent an email to the guy that sold it to me. He then sent me an email that they are giving me a new one and will call with an installation date. It very a nice surprise.

I called the company as the pool heating unit was throwing a code that read "low refrigerant pressure" which according to the owner's manual means a refrigerant leak. I was told it was $125.00 to come out to perform a diagnostic check of the system because it could mean something else. Upon calling I was also told that I would be required to leave my credit card information with the company primarily for the service call and that they would be calling me back to schedule an appointment. They did that afternoon. When the technician got here he was pleasant. He arrived an hour earlier than scheduled. This was fine with me as I was home. The technician saw the same code that I did and then told me it was going to cost $75 per lb of Freon to check for the leak and that he would need to use 2 lbs. (additional $150 to check). So, he proceeded and could not find the leak. He believed that it was either a very small leak or that the compressor was where it was leaking. So, I was then faced with whether to fill the system with Freon (and additional 2 lbs at $150 more for a total of $125 service call + $300 Freon = $425 total) -or I guess not use the system or replace it. I had the system filled. I must admit that it was not satisfying to still not know where the leak is. I asked if I had to call again whether I would be charged the $125 again and was told if it was in the next couple of weeks, probably not... but if it was longer say 6 months, then probably. The technician was very professional and nice.

This was an awesome experience. This company was highly professional and extremely knowledgeable about pool heating. I would definitely use them again for my other properties, and I give them my highest recommendation to others considering a pool heater. They are a family owned business and are clearly the best at what they do. We love our new pool heater.

When I received a high quote to fix my pool filter from my pool service, I turned to Angie's List for help. I emailed 3 Top Rated Angie's List pool repair companies on a Friday evening. Dennis Olmezer of Florida Pool answered my request within minutes. We exchanged information and upon discussion retained immediately. He arranged to have my problem fixed on Saturday Morning. He sent Jody who arrived on time and explained what he thought the problem was and then he analyzed and fixed every possible cause before he would put in the new part. Jody then explained to me why my current pool service could not balance my water. I now know, when I need the expensive equipment or possible pool leak repaired to call a pool repair company and not leave it to guess work. Florida Pool Heating, you're hired!

We decided to get our pool heated, so I looked through the reviews of several companies on Angie's List. I ultimately decided to go with Florida Pool Heating and we couldn't be happier. Kevin came out very quickly and gave us a very detailed and thorough presentation. He really knows the business inside and out and we instantly felt comfortable with our decision. The installation was seamless and very quick. They do a nice job of installing it cleanly and then gave a tutorial of how to operate the unit (super quick and easy). We had to call Kevin a couple times after installation with a few questions, and he was very responsive and helpful. This company has EXCELLENT customer service, which is so important with a pricey investment like a pool heater. I highly recommend this company.

We wanted heated pool for grand kids to enjoy over Christmas but never got around to it until week b4. Had Kevin out for quote on sat (with other providers) and install complete Tuesday.

I have been experiencing issues with the pool heater staying on and working when pump is on so I called Florida Pool Heating on a Monday. Technician was scheduled for Tuesday, they did require $150 deposit for appointment that would go toward any work performed. Technician arrived, was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. Replaced faulty valve and now all seems to be working. Even answered some pool-related questions I had which was great. I would use them again.

They were efficient and saw what was going on. They were on time and diagnosed what was going on. They knew exactly what was going on and I was very happy with them. They were able to complete the fix the same day.

My 7 year old pool pump had gone bad. Providor took my information over the phone and was very knowledgeable. Appointment was scheduled on Monday for Wednesday. On Wednesday the installer arrived as promised and completed the repairs. Installer verified everything was in working order (while in my presence) before leaving. Fast, efficient, and very fair prices. Thanks!
