carpet installation
+ -1 moreI selected a carpet and asked if it would wear well on stairs. Hal told me would stand up very well and was a very good choice. Before making the purchase I consulted with other carpet compaines and checked it out on the internet. The carpet I chose turned out to be the a very poor selection as it would not 'spring' back and would mat down within a relatively short period of time. As I know little about carpeting, I found I could not trust the advice of this salesman.

+ -1 moreTHE WORKERS CAME WITHIN THE APPOINTED TIME. THEY TOOK UP THE OLD FLOORING AND MADE SURE ALL THE MESS WAS CLEANED UP AND HAULED AWAY. WHEN THE NEW FLOORING WAS LAID, WE WERE SURPRISED HOW BRIGHT AND CLEAN IT MADE THE KITCHEN LOOK.
Description of Work: REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LINOLEUM TILING ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR.

+ -1 moreTHE CARPET HAS A LINE DOWN THE CENTER OF THE CARPET WHERE THE PADS ARE NOT PUT DOWN NEXT TO EACH OTHER. THERE ARE LUMPS AND BUMPS IN THE CARPET. I HAD ANOTHER COMPANY COME AND TAKE SOME OF THE LUMPS OUT BUT NOT THE LINE IN THE CENTER.
Description of Work: I HAD CARPET PUT IN THE ENTIRE HOUSE. THE COMPANY DID THE INSTALLATION BUT THE QUALITY OF INSTALL WAS BAD.
