A week after I ordered the netbook, someone called me to tell me that it only came with only a small amount of memory and battery life. They also charged me extra for upgrades that were not even on there. I was unable to connect to the internet wirelessly. I also called numerous times and they never called me back. I looked online to get a return ticket. I paid for postage to send it back. A couple of months later, I only got a credit for $59. They did not credit me for the upgrades or the warranty that I paid for. I finally got someone on the phone and they said that there was nothing else that they could do. I have gone to my credit card company to get this resolved.

When I complained, they said they thoroughly checked it out. This could not be true. Then they said it must be the battery. I had to contact them twice for a new battery. When none worked, I had to pay for return postage ($10 and they sent me a new netbook. This worked for about 2 months, on limited usage, and now the screen disappears, turns into different colors, and the wifi does not work. When I called and requested all my money back, they could only refund 80% of the purchase price. No refunds allowed on the longer battery life (LOL), and the warranty. The clerk gave me excuses about how they have to pay for advertising and cannot refund all my money and that the site's return policy explicitly states these conditions. I'll have to call, pay another $10 return shipping, and get another inferior quality product. This is costing me more than i ever wanted to pay andnot worth the hassles. It has failed on me on two vacations and is totally a worthless product. I've read reviews on the web that others have experienced this company as a rip-off. Their netbook really is not worth the money or the hassle. The recorder does NOT work, which they confirmed, but since it's not a feature listed on their site, it's not a warranty issue. The Asus is a small netbook weighing about 2.5 lbs, which you can purchase for under $200 on ebay. I've heard good reviews.
