Description of Work: Called up East Coast windows and doors for an estimate on replacing a custom window with wind resistant glass and spoke to a woman. She told me to call Todd and set up an appointment for an estimate. I did this and Todd showed up at the appointed time, measured the window and said that he would get back to me. He gave me his card and I thought it strange that it had a different company name on it ( A Better Window and Screen Corp). After three weeks, I had not received any response so I called East Coast and was told that Todd didn't work for their company but they referred jobs that were too "small" to him and I should call him. I told the geltleman that I should of been told this at the outset. So if your job is below $5000, don't call East Coast and I wouldn't call Todd either.

Description of Work: They came out for the initial inspection and measurement. When I decided to go ahead with them, they came out and measured again. I accept4ed their bid and they ordered the doors. They came when they said they would, the installation of 3 doors was done on a Monday and the inspection was Wednesday. Passed inspection with no problem. I was not in Florida at the time but a good friend supervised everything and is a really touch critic. She said she would use them if she needs doors or windows! I was sent photos of all 3 impact doors and they look fantastic. The previous doors were ORIGINAL from 1964 and the difference is amazing! I am still trying to decide on a door for the front entrance but will go back to them for that too. It was a very painless and happy experience! I gave them a "B" on the cost because of course I would like a better price but I think it is in line for the product!

Description of Work: Called to get an estimate. Was going to do two sliders and then 6 normal windows on the side of the house definitely. Potentially I was going to do 4 other sliders and and 8 upper windows depending on how much it added to the cost of the job. All the woman on the phone heard was 2 sliders even though I said it just like I typed above. She said she was not sending someone to Boca for two sliders. I repeated myself but told that is ok and not to bother once she offered me an appointment. I guess the economy is not as tough as we think when a company can turn down business.

Description of Work: East Coast Windows and Doors is an excellent and reasonable company. Unfortunately for me, I do not have enough cash to complete the project but I will use them in the future. Heather in the scheduling office and Chris, the technician who came to my home to measure my windows, were extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I will recommend their company to anyone needing window or doors.

Description of Work: I called to have 2 windows replaced, I was simply told that they wouldn't bother even coming to give me a quote just for 2 windows. That is a lame excuse. In this economy people would like to have customers. I want to believe that a job is a job, regardless of how small or big it is.

Description of Work: East Coast Windows installed impact windows on my 2 story home. There is not enough good words to say about this wonderful company. From the first appointment with Chris for an estimate, working with Heather and Angela and the completion of the job, it was so professional. The crew always arrived on time and at the end of each day, the site was totally cleaned. I have an old dog and 4 cats, plus parrots and the crew worked around all of this without ever complaining. This is a great company! Everything was done perfectly as promised. Thank you to all the staff at East Coast Windows. I really appreciated your dedication.

Description of Work: They put in hurricane windows in my house and also in an apartment.
