Description of Work: I first contacted this East Coast Windows & Doors in Late April, by the time all the permits were done, the custom windows built and installed it was mid July. This was as I expected as the HOA was slow in giving approval and custom construction could only follow after that. So the time line was as I expected and was as explained by the company. Once the work began replacing 16 windows, 2 large sliding glass doors, 2 regular doors, 2 French doors and sidelites (12 ft opening), it was a 6 day project as every window and door in the house was replaced with High impact glass and hurricane proof vinyl. This was a very big job. Once the job was scheduled the work men arrived everyday very promptly and were always polite and professional. They worked on different sections of the house each day and completed that section before they moved on in order to cause as little disruption as possible. The workmen were meticulous in mounting the new windows and doors as Vinyl requires great care during installations to provide proper fit. This crew was very professional. Also, all stucco work once the windows were in, was beautifully finished sharp edged and matched all of the original stucco. I could not have asked for better detailing. Once the job was finished the company owner made sure the county inspector came out that day so every aspect was completed at the same time. About 3 days after installation I noticed that one of the large sidelights and one French door had faint but noticeable scratches in the glass. I called the company and told them of my concern and in a few days they sent out one of their people to look at the problem. He agreed that the scratches were either done by the manufacturer or during installation so they agreed to replace the door and sidelight as soon as possible. Once again the sections had to be custom built and that took several weeks, but once the sections arrived a special team was sent out to remove the damaged sections and install the new ones. The work was completed in one afternoon and the project was concluded to my satisfaction. This is a wonderful company to hire and by the way their final bid was $20,000 below some of the companies that I contacted. Their pricing is fair and the work is professional. This company is the largest installer of PGT Glass in South Florida.

Description of Work: We interviewed 6 different companies. East Coast stood out as the most professional and thorough. Prices among all 6 companies were very similar. It is, what it is. We replaced all our exterior doors and anticipated the cost. |Workmanship was very good and the installation crew did their best to minimize mess and cleaned up. They did a great job! We are pleased with the whole process and would definitely use them again if needed. In addition, they let me know about a rebate that will return $100 to us. I recommend this company!

Description of Work: Replaced all windows and doors in the house with hurricane resistant glass and doors. All services were completed earlier than the latest estimated start date. There were 12 windows, 5 sliding glass doors, and 3 regular doors.

Description of Work: I called East Coast Windows on two occassions, May 1st and 28th to get estimate for hurricane impact windows. The first call the receptionist said the sales representative (Mandy) was in a meeting and she would have me called back. The second time, Mandy had left for the day, and I left a voice message with name and phone number for call back. I never received call. I can only conclude the company has a high demand for product and does not have the capacity for new business.

Description of Work: I had my pool enclosure rescreened in 2006 after all the hurricanes at substantial cost. The trouble is, the spline would pull out letting the screen panels come out. I had the contractor back to repair about a dozen times after which he abandoned the job. For years I would moutaineer over the deck and pool on ladders, over air, etc. doing temporary repairs myself. I found East Coast on Angies, they quoted a fair price, did a major rework on the screening and amazingly enough it has held!!! I wish I had found these excellent professionals many years ago. What hassles they would have saved. They also reworked some screened enclosures including replacing some aluminum framing. Highly recommend these folks.
