Description of Work: painted my house and fixed my bathroom.

Description of Work: The $2100.00 price above does NOT include materials. Hired to install hurricane brackets that hold hurricane shutters in place, job should have only taken one week but ended up taking 2 and half weeks including Saturdays. Company never gave me a job quote for this particular job but was told the hourly rate of $35, a couple of times during the job I asked how many days to install the brackets and I would get an answer in the range of a few days. The 6 day job turned into 16 days. 4 days before the last day of the job, on a Sunday, my husband and I asked one last time and was told it would take one more day, it took 4 more days!!! There were a couple of times I asked the man why he could not give us a better time frame since he had been on the job for several days but I could never get a definite answer. He told me if I had hired someone else I knew, that it would cost me double, when in fact when all things were said and done this company charged me double!! The other company I knew would have only charged me $1000.00 to install and I when informed them about how much I was paying this man they told me that the job should not have taken so long to do. Alot of time was wasted running around to get materials because he did not measure enough the first time and in addition just did not forecast out the job enough, seemed to take the job as each day came and went, but at our expense. Also, we found ourselves almost having to pay for some of his tools until we expressed to him that this is not the usual practice, we still had pay $89 for a saw disc and had to ask him for the disc the last day of the job. We even had to pay for drill bits that were not left with us. Although the job was done well, it took way too much time and money. We feel that he could have given us a much better understanding of the job after being on the job the first 3 days. We wanted to us this company to help us paint but our painting budget got taken over by the hurricane brackets and we were due to move into this home thus had little time left, so we had to start the painting ourselves and now my wife suffers from tendonitis in her right hand.

Description of Work: 2 clothes racks in the closet.

Description of Work: Light fixtures replacement front entrance and back yard. Bulbs replacement and some electrical repairs.

Description of Work: Rich was called to install a closet door and wound up doing a great job on that plus fixing a leaky faucet, checking another plumbing problem which he is scheduled to do next week and installing some fluorescent lights.

Description of Work: Drywall infill of 2 sliding doors, paint the interior, 5 new doors and hardware, some minor electrical and clean up

Description of Work: From Rags to Riches Home Improvement and Repair came out to give me an estimate for remodeling work last month.

Description of Work: Rich is a GC. If he doesn't do the work himself, he gets someone to come in and do it. We had a lot of work done on our house. He specifically worked on doors, trim/boarder, electrical, prime and painting. He brought people in to do windows, ceilings and walls. They were very good as well. This price does not include the money we paid to the other guy that came out and did some work.
