Command Pest Control

It was really a pleasure to do business with Command Pest Control. From the moment that Dave came for the inspection, it was very clear he was an honest person. So honest, that he convinced me not to do the job immediately, since there was no real need. When the need came, it was him the first person I called. When the process started, Jacquie made it a smooth one, even if at times scary (I have a huge aquarium that could not come out). At some point the house covering method needed to be changed and even if it was a bump in the process, it still was done in a professional manner. Greg, the crew supervisor kept us appraised and informed all along the way. Certainly, Command Pest Control will be in my mind for the next time that the need arises.

Command made a stressful experience easy. They walked us through the process and did a great job. What truly impressed me was that I have been working with them for some time trying to resolve our termite issues. I did not want to tent the house. They applied my previous expenses to my tenting costs. This is a ethical company!!!

We were really impressed with how quickly they were able to get out to us today, with only a few hours notice. They are always very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Very worth the price. I wanted to let you know that he did an extremely good job of taking care of my home. He was always very polite and extremely considerate. He explained everything that he did and answered all of my questions. He did all this without being intrusive, which I like very much. I wish there more people out there like him. You guys are the best. Last Fall I had some “insect concerns” and your staff was really great. Just wanted to commend your staff and the technicians for the exceptional services we as a company have been receiving over the years. They made numerous visits, even on their own time, either when we were closing or opening, so they could get the best idea of what was going on when there was not a lot of customer traffic.

We have been under contract with Command for 2 years. We spoke to all the other companies out there after we discovered evidence of termites. Some said we needed to tent. Others said we could spray the attic. Those that wanted to tent couldn't figure out exactly how much chemicals to put in our home because of the odd roof line that we have. They also said that tenting does not stop the termites from coming back. Those that wanted to spray insisted that our problem was not that bad and we did not require full house tenting. Command was one of those companies. I say this because I see that some state that Command tried to get them to tent when it wasn't necessary. That was not the case with us! They sprayed two years ago. And have pin pointed a few areas that need follow up treatment. They come on schedule. They are kind on the phone. Come as often as I need. They are professional and courteous. I pay an annual maintenance fee that is extremely reasonable. I have come to appreciate that termites are truly a plague in South Florida and just like we have a pest guy come to spray for ants, etc...we need a termite guy to come on a regular basis to check for these destructive creatures. I can't say enough about Command.

They came out and did a quote, followed up with us. When we finally closed on the house, they were delayed due to bad weather so they came out on Saturday despite windy conditions and tented. Office staff was very attentive.

We found evidence of termite damage in one area in our den. We first called Command Pest Control to come out and assess the damage. The representative who showed up convinced us that our house was infested with termites and we needed a full house tenting although we (as the home owners) had only found evidence in the one small area in our den. When presented with the estimate of > $1200, we decided to get a second opinion. If fact, we called 4 other reputable local termite companies recommended by Angie's List and Better Business Bureau... ALL four companies told us we would be totally wasting our money to have the entire house tented and not one of them could find any additional evidence of active termites outside of the one small area outside our den. Buyer beware of "up-selling" from this company.

Very nice people, but not organized. 1. The cost listed above is for two services. Drywood termite inspection and quarterly perimeter (maintenance) treatments for a year. 2. Company was recommended by structure inspectors to complete termite/pest inspection prior to purchasing home 1 year ago. This work was satisfactorily completed. 3. Less than a month after moving into new home, air conditioning contractor discovered a possum living underneath the exterior unit. I called Command and they provided a humane removal of the possum in a timely manner. 4. Because I was pleased with initial work, I contracted Command Pest Control to provide an interior and exterior treatment for ants and other bugs when I moved into new home last summer (June 30, 2013). 5. I agreed to an annual service contract that included a 30-day treatment after the initial treatment and then, quarterly treatments to follow. I asked several times (including phone conversations and email) for some type of written agreement that included ALL terms, but only ever received only a copy of the annual warranty which does not include the specific terms of service. 6. Command workers arrived and treated the exterior perimeter AND completed another interior treatment because I called and explained that we were still having ant issues inside the home. 7. I assumed the next treatment would be 3 months after the initial treatment. This should have been during the first week of November 2013. No one came. During the week of Thanksgiving 2013, I called because we were still having ant issues. I asked that the workers call ahead of arriving (I intentionally stayed home) because I wanted to speak directly with the workers to draw their attention to specific areas of concern. Command apparently double-booked the service. A worker showed up who had no idea why he was there. Later the same day, workers who had previously been to the home arrived to complete an exterior treatment. No one called in advance. The invoice I was given was dated November 7, 2013 - the work was performed approximately 20 days after the date on the invoice. 8. The next treatment occurred when no one was home and without prior notice. An invoice was left in the front door on April 15, 2014. This was not quarterly service. This was the last service completed within the contracted year. (2 out of 4 treatments). 9. Initial contract indicates that the annual renewal date should be in June of 2014 (I purchased home June 28, 2013). I had to call Command in early July and ask them why I had not received quarterly treatments as contracted and why they had not made contact to renew service for another year. During that conversation, I was told by Misty that it was close to July 4th holiday and many workers were on vacation. 10. A re-inspection and treatment were scheduled for July 10th. No one showed up and no one called. My partner stayed home from work for the day. I called a day after the scheduled appointment. Command provided an apology, offered a discount, and re-scheduled the two appointments for July 13th (One for termite inspection and one for perimeter pest treatment). The morning of the appointments, I received a voicemail message, while at work, that there was a problem. I am a summer program teacher and could not answer the phone until my lunch break. In the meantime, the termite inspection occurred (for which I paid $169.00), but the treatment did not. When I called during lunch, I was informed that the treatment had to be rescheduled for a third time. When I asked what would be done to compensate for yet another inconvenience, I was told "nothing more can be done, we already gave you a discount for the previously missed appointments."

In a nutshell it went very badly. David the owner inspected my home and found termites in the fascia and in the attic. We could have tented buy he assured us his team could treat the wood to clean the house out. Over the course of the year I had them come back 6 times to fix the fascia work they butchered. They were also always late btw. Fast forward to March of this year and I have the house for sale. I renewed the warranty with Command and they retreated the house and completed a form required by the state that the house was free of termites. The very next day a potential buyer had the house inspected and thousands of termites were found. David Galvani the owner gave me the run around when asked why his team did not see and take care of the termites. He promised me he would tent the house "at cost". I had him do so only to find he overcharged me by several thousand dollars. I asked David about the overcharge and he got very nasty and threatening. Do business with Command Pest Control at your own risk.

They were prompt and helpful. They had done the inspection before we purchased and I then found them on Angie's list. Very happy with the prompt service and quality work.

Excellent. I interviewed and priced many companies and got a different response from each one I spoke to. One said tent, another said spray, another said do nothing, etc?the costs were all over the place. Command came out - told me I needed a simple treatment, one that another company had suggested, but Command offered it at a much lower price PLUS they offer a year warranty that can be renewed for $180. You can't beat that. They sent out a team a week after the treatment to see if it was successful. I am very happy.

This company has excellent customer service. I used them to rid us these pests from our condo and they did an excellent job. The customer service was excellent and their prices were the best out of every one I called. I would definitely recommend this company.

We were overwhelmed by a rodent infestation in our attic, and couldn't imagine that anyone would be willing to help us handle the problem ! The team at Command Pest Control proved us wrong. Not only were their technicians conscientious and polite, but they came to help us as soon as we called. You could not ask for better service, and we couldn't recommend them highly enough!

On first visit they did nothing. They told me they needed to come back when it was not raining. On second visit they sprayed ficus despite the rain coming done harder than the first time they came. 2nd person told me the rain was good for the application. So, which representative was correct? After 3rd visit and 1 month later I discovered that they only applied to my side of the ficus, not both sides. So, the ficus on the neighbors side was still infected. I would not hire them again.

out of 10 places I'd call Command was the only one that didn't remind me this is a holiday .Well you others the holiday (Memorial day)isn't until Monday, today is Saturday!!! Don't you have a calendar? You should not have answered your phone & let your answering take your calls instead of wanting me to make appointment for Tuesday, I then would have hung up, & saved us both alot of time. So thx for wasting my time. Misty @ Command was very efficent & was able to get ahold of Alex Morales the Technician. She called me back & the appointment was set for 11am-100p. Alex & his assistant arrived @ 1220. To whom it may concern- should you ever need pest control give Command & save yourself time & headaches.It's nice to know there are still honest business people in Ft Lauderdale area

I have been satisfied with Command Pest Control Inc. I had termites and they treated it so I am happy with the results.

The guy that comes out to do the spraying does excellent work and is very thorough. I would recommend them. The price is good. The best thing is that they take care of the bugs.

From the initial inspection, making the appointment, and having our house tented/wood repair, Command was fabulous. Ms. Kathy set an appointment and emailed the details of what needed to be prepared right away. The tent was put up and removed 48 hours later. They repaired wood in several areas and left our house spotless. I would highly recommend them to others.

They were pretty good. They sprayed and I haven't seen any bugs come into the house. I thought they did a decent job. They were very nice. The owner came out which I liked.

They are excellent, and they respond very quickly if you call them. Their willingness to keep coming back until they solve the problem stands out. I am pleased with them, and I will stick with them. I hired them some years ago. They did a good job, so I just kept hiring them. They always call me to remind me that it is time for them to come again. I hadn’t really compared them with anybody else. I have just been happy with their service, so I stayed with them.

They are very good. They are reliable. They are on time and when they say they are coming, they come. They are very reasonable. They tell you a price and they stick by it. They have been around for quite a while. They are right on time all the time and that is what I like about them. They are very professional. We had a problem with rodents and they came within a day and checked it all out and took care of it. I will continue to use them in the future.
