Job was done from side of house perfectly. Did not disturb any of our belongings, including pool. Replaced pavers. When job was complete you would never have known we had that big of a job done.

My sink backed up before the holidays and my usual plumber came out to fix it only to find that the cast iron pipes were crushed. My plumber gave me a crazy quote, said they'd start in 10 days and that the work would take about 8 days. 18 days without a kitchen!! I had to find another option. So glad I did. I called Bob Smith Plumbing and Jimmy came out to assess the situation. The next morning I had a quote in my email box. I signed the paperwork and they immediately filed for permits so they could start the project as soon as possible. They ended up having to tunnel under the house and replace 25 feet of cast iron. They worked in a small area and didn't have to pull up any of my paved walkway. And with the hydro excavation the project took a couple of days rather than 8 days and they were able to give me my kitchen back within a few hours of beginning the job. When the job was done, you would never even know they had been there. I highly recommend Bob Smith Plumbing. If you still have cast iron pipes in South Florida it's not a matter of IF the pipes will collapse, it's WHEN!

The job went very well and I am very happy with Bob Smith Plumbing. I had a couple estimates prior to Bob Smith Plumbing that included possibly tearing up the floors in my garage, kitchen, Florida room, living room, and one bedroom depending on what they saw underground when they started. I was relieved when Jimmy from Bob Smith Plumbing told me that they would not have to tear up my house to fix my broken pipe underground. They were able to go underground from my front yard and tunnel under my house. Another concern was that they would have to tear up my driveway or my sprinkler system in the process but that was not the case either. I was able to stay in my house while all the work was performed and my water never had to be turned off during any of it. I also liked that they replaced all of the pipe under my house and not just the broken pipe. They were prompt and showed up when they said they would. They were clean and tidied up prior to leaving for the day. Everyone from the company that I dealt with was nice. I would definitely recommend Bob Smith Plumbing.

I called Roto Router and they came out hours after the call, cleaned my lines and then it happened again,. Called RR again and again they came out snaked out the line and called for a camera. The camera showed apparent build up (I wasn't home for that, nor did the tech that did the work tell me where the problems were or gave me a copy of their findings). They said the price tag would be $17K plus, plus and they would have to rip up the inside of my house. I just went though the death of my spouse and hearing this brought me to tears. I knew their had to be a better way. I called my local plumber and he told me to call BOB SMITH PLUMBING that was all they did. They are honest and excellent at what they do. Before I do anything I research and research and research the company. I began on Angie's List. People could not say enough nice things and everyone was a an A+ I was hooked. I called set up an appointment. Jimmy came over gave me a price to re plumb the house and a camera price. He asked if the other company gave me the pin drive with their findings and if they said where the issue or issues were. I said no to both. I paid $350 to have BOB SMITH PLUMBLING camera the lines. They went through all the stacks on top of the house and the clean out front where I am sure Roto Router only camera that location. Low and behold Jimmy an honest guy from an honest company! Gave me the pin drive and told me his findings. They don't look as bad as the other company made it out to be. I'm no expert but like I said I researched and knew what I was looking at. It would have been an easy $27K for Jimmy at BOB SMITH PLUMBING to tell me the same thing the other company did and take my close to $30K for a replumb, but Jimmy at BOB SMITH PLUMBLING did not do that!!! And that is why I wanted to write this review. This company is an A++++ and Jimmy is also an A++++. He was personable, knowledgeable answered all my 50 thousands questions and best of all followed up with me! I have dealt with a lot of vendors over the last year and never felt so good about spending $350 for a second opinion. Thank you BOB SMITH PLUMBLING for letting me see hope their are honest people still in SOUTH FLORIDA.

It was awesome nobody had to come into my home, all work was done outside. They closed up hole and feel as if it never was there!

Jimmy from Bob Smith plumbing went above and beyond in helping diagnose and repair the old pipes under the house.

Jimmy with Bob Smith Plumbing was an absolute pro to work with. He was always punctual, responsive and went above and beyond to get us taken care of as soon as possible. These guys are absolute pros! If you're thinking of using someone else--DON'T! These guys are the best for a reason!

We had a nightmare cast iron plumbing issue that rendered our guest bathroom on one side of the house completely unusable. Prior to realizing we needed to replace the cast iron, we contacted several plumbers to try to fix the issue - finally we got a plumber to camera the sewer pipes and realized the cast iron had completely split open under the guest bathroom due to root intrusion and was not able to be repaired. We contacted a plumber who referred us to Bob Smith Plumbing. They came out, assessed the issue and gave us an estimate. We also had several other plumbing companies come to provide estimates, hoping to have several quotes to compare pricing. We were unwilling to hire a company to drill through the slab to replace the pipes, so each company was told before coming out that they needed to be able to tunnel under the house to repair the problem (to ensure we didn't waste anyone's time). The quote process was irritating; many of the comparable companies required several visits and estimates to get what we wanted correct. A few would even state they could tunnel on the phone when making the appointment, only to come out and prepare the wrong type of quote because all of a sudden they realized their company has a policy against tunneling (but they still came out!!!! ugh!) Luckily, Bob Smith got it right and I felt completely comfortable with the process they use - they dig under the house using a hydro-excavation process to pull all the dirt and crud out from a small tunnel they create along the sewer pipes. Then, they replace the pipes, attaching them to the underside of the slab with steel rods and hangers every 4 feet (which adheres to building code). After their work passes an inspection, they backfill the tunnel and the work is complete after a final inspection. We asked them to prepare a quote to replace the entire house's cast iron pipes, not just the broken section (we did not want to have to do this in 10 years when the rest of the house would inevitably fail). They showed up on a Monday morning and dug the tunnel. On Tuesday, they came back and attached all the PVC piping and connected it. Several days after that, they backfilled the tunnel and we passed our final inspection and the permit was closed. There was absolutely no interruption in our normal use of bathrooms/showers/sinks. I would not recommend being home during the excavation process, since it is loud, but they work during business hours so I was able to go to work during the day and not be disrupted. Any delays from their date of completion to when the permit was closed were entirely due to the county inspection process (it did take a couple weeks to close). My fiance and I were shocked at how seamless the transition was. We went from months of not being able to use one side of our house - the bathroom & shower - and all of a sudden our bathroom was completely restored and functional with no impact to the interior of the house (no dust, no dirt, just happy flushing toilets and draining sinks!). As a bonus, the replacement also appears to have fixed a problem we were having with cockroaches (ew!!!) since there are no longer huge gaping holes and breaks in our sewer lines. Also, we got pictures of the pipes connected to the slab so that we can share these lovely memories with our relatives and friends, haha. I cannot thank BSP enough for their work and hopefully I will never, ever have to use them again :-) but I will recommend their services to anyone who encounters the horrors involved in cast iron plumbing replacement.

Nobody wanted to do the job that I wanted done. I had a pipe break. All these other people wanted like $6,000. He did the job in a day for $1,800. I am very happy and satisfied with him.

The house was recently purchased and there was a plumbing issue. After contacting several local area plumbing companies and using a camera to investigate the line, it was recommended that we contact Bob Smith Plumbing, Inc. From the very first phone call, until the completion of the work, everyone at the company was extremely friendly and professional. They were punctual and stayed within their promised time frame. They opened an entry hole into the carport floor, began the hydro-excavation, removed and replaced the existing cast iron pipe with SCH40 PVC pipe and hung the new pipe to the existing concrete slab with stainless steel rod and hangers every four feet as per the building code. They backfilled the entrance to the tunnel and replaced/poured the concrete section in the carport. The crew diligently cleaned up the work area and removed all debris and trash. I must admit that I was very worried about this process, but thanks to Bob Smith and his employees the job was flawless. His company arranged for all the permits and inspections and everything was first rate and completed within the promised time. Thank you Bob Smith and Co.

WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THEM. THEY DO REALLY GOOD WORK. THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO BE. THEY GOT THE WORK DONE IN A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME. THE WASHER IS WORKING FINE NOW. I AM GLAD THAT MY FRIEND REFERRED THEM TO ME.
