AVIV TILE & MARBLE

I had asked for 5 things on this job. 1) A comparable estimate so I could pick a company within the budgeted amount of the job. 2) to keep the floor as low as possible 3) not to move my furniture 4) to tell me which rooms the tile was being laid so we could prepare the space 5) and I asked on Friday to grout the tile that was laid Thursday, just a small space to put my furniture in Well let's address these one by one. 1)The bid was off by 275% in mortar alone not including the threshold and extra bag of grout ( Which I didn't need as there is another 1/2 an opened bag in the garage, so now I have 2 opened bags.) 2) My floors are 3 inches higher in places, yes I know it's leveled, but it could have been done without raising it so high as I still have the lippage you told me I wouldn't have. 3) The company moved my custom made imported entertainment center and broke the bottom, yes they offered to glue it but it will always be broken. 4) The owner nor the crew ever gave me the smallest courtesy in giving me a heads up in what was going to happen next. They started a 5 day job on a Thursday, then neither the owner or the crew worked on the weekend. The owner was more concerned that his wet saw/tile cutter was safely out of the rain then what would happen to my furniture on the back porch with the rainy weekend. 5) All I wanted was a little space grouted so I could bring in some of my furniture but again the total lack of courtesy from you and your crew was appalling. The owner also told me that there wouldn't be any big mess which is why originally he wanted to set up on my back porch next to my furniture. My garage was filled with dust, even after using a leaf blower twice, from them mixing mortar and cutting tile in it. Which the boss, should never have allowed, but again it all goes back to lack of common courtesy for me, the customer.

Rafael and his team did a beautiful job! My husband and I were amazed how precise they were with making the floor level from one end of our very open floor plan to the next! They were able to start the first tile in such a way that it lined up with the front door, back sliders, down left and right hallways and across the living room on the diagonal into the family room! They even did an inlaid design detail on our entry way landing. The attention to detail was fantastic! Rafael did such a great job I hired him to come back and install the back splash after the new kitch was finished! another beautiful job!

Raphael is absolutely wonderful! He cares about his clients and his work is amazing. I should also mention he took the time to make sure the floors were covered so dust would not collect and he cleaned up before he left. He takes time to make sure the job is done to the utmost perfection. We would highly recommend Raphael - he truly is the best of the best!

Rafal was prompt returning also, His price was reasonable, His workmanship was excellent & clean.I would definitely call him again.

From the first time I met with Raphael, I found him to be very knowledgeable and thorough in evrything from the estimate to the details during the work, and even the clean up. He stayed on the job with his workers to make sure everything was OK every day. His workers were considerate and polite and hard workers. Raphael kept me up to date of any changes he had to make, always asking my permission first. I aready told him he has the job next year to replace the upstairs flooring and bathroom. HIS PRICES WERE REASONABLE. I would highly recommend him to anyone !!!
