Assured Storm Protection was contacted for an estimate for the purchase and installation of accordion shutters, an appointment was setup with in a few days at a convenient time,The sales person was very helpful, explaining the whole process if chosen. After Assured was selected it took 4 weeks for the company to manufacture the shutters, I was then contacted to select the date for installation. The shutters were installed in one day, removing the old hardware on the house and caulking the holes. Very happy with the whole experience.

They were incredible!! I obtained 7 quotes before I started my job. Read countless reviews on Angies List and the BBB. I have to say it was a daunting process. Quotes were all over the place. I was lied to by some companies ( one of the "big box" stores). Some companied tried to "scare" you into doing the job by pointing out all the "break in" points. I know the break in points, I don't need to be scared into a purchase!! Some companies would only give you "the price" if you signed then and there...the pressure and sales tactics were ridiculous! ASSURED STORM PROCTECTION LLC was actually the last quote I received and the least expensive. From start to finish they were GREAT. Greg the sales rep did not resort to high pressure or scare tactics, no shell games. Keith who came and did the final measure was great and further explained the process and what I can expect. They kept me informed, filed all permits, picked up the doors I purchased and were most professional and respectful of my property! They completed the job on time, with no hidden costs, and no MESS. I work from home and have 2 dogs which are a handful. They were respectful of my work space and very careful to be sure not to let the dogs loose. The doors and windows passed inspection with no issues, apparently this is not always the case with some companies, but my Broward County inspector was very impressed with the job and even commented on what a great job they did and what a deal I got!! All my neighbors have commented on what a great job they did and how nice my home looks. And as a huge bonus by replacing my windows and doors it reduced my hurricane premium by more than 1000.00 a year!! So not only do I feel safer and more secure, I am going to be saving money! Would I use them again? Heck yes, I only wish I had more windows to replace!! Hurricane windows and doors are a huge investment there is no other way to say that, but in the long run it is so worth it and if anyone is thinking of replacing old doors and windows--- DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CONTACT ASSURED STORM PROCETECTION, you will be glad that you did I just wished I called them 5 years ago when I bought my home!

Greg our sales person was a pleasure to work with. All permitting and engineering was as planned. Shutters were installed in one day. Very pleased with the results.

Assured Storm Protection exceeded my expectations. They were fairly priced and very punctual. They manufactured and installed accordion storm panels on my home. They did an excellent job and were very clean. I can't complain about any part of the transaction.

The price was right at $12,600 (including my permit). However, 4 windows were installed incorrectly, not in the space that they were specifically measured for. Since they were approximately the same size, this did not pose a serious problem. Additionally, it took approximately two months to rectify a broken window during installation and a bathroom window that was ordered incorrectly. Everyone at Assured Stormed Protection was very nice and helpful. However for these reasons, I have to give them an overall grade of A-/B+. Since this was not an option on the "Angie's List" grading scale, I chose an overall grade of B. I got several estimates and Assured Storm Protection was the cheapest by far! I just wish that they/I would have been a little bit more aware during installation.

The salesperson at the time I thought was informative. However, when I contacted Alpha Windows and Doors (from Angie's List), they were really informative and complete in the whole explanation of service. Much better than Assured Storm Protection, and a few hundred dollars less.

The work has not yet been performed. What I liked is that they said what they had and gave us two options. They gave us what we asked for, and what it would be like if we went with regular shutters. They also said the quote was good, and we should feel free to get other quotes. I liked that they didn't pressure us into anything. There were things that they took into consideration that we didn't think about or ask for. For example they said that we had French doors out there, and they could put hurricane shutters and there would be a bracket, so there would be more work. They were thinking about conveniences, or making things easier for us.

This company was recommended to me by my friend so I decided to inquire about the product, service & prices. Anthony was great in his presentation all the information and provided a sample of the material that the shutters were made out of. I was very impressed and decided to look no further! I also checked them out on Angie's List and the really did honor the discount coupon that being offered at the time which saved me over $400.00!! They were very patient in trying to work around my busy work schedule to have the shutters installed and I didn't feel pressure at any time to hurry up & buy now. The engineer came out and did all the exact measurements. The installers were very professional, punctual and did a great job in installing the shutters. They also were very neat and cleaned up all the debris. Before they left they made sure I understood how to open, close and lock all of the shutters on my 2 story house. I could not been more pleased and I'm so very happy that I hired Assured Storm Protection to install my accordion shutters. The did a great job at a great price! I would highly recommend them to anyone who what an excellent quality in storm shutters professional company that really know what they are doing and they really do stand behind their work. My mother and my neighbors were impressed and wants to use them as well! I even received a follow up call several weeks later after shutters had been installed to see if everything was okay and if I had any questions or concerns about the shutters! Now that real customer service and it show that they really do care about their clients! Look no further folks! These guys are #1 in hurricane storm shutters.! I will always recommend this company to anyone who wants storm shutters installed. Keep up the great work!!!

Workers arrived on the day of installation in the early morning. They were able to complete the entire job for 14 windows by the early afternoon. I appreciate working with Barbara in the office/factory as she was always helpful with answering any questions. I certainly appreciate them cleaning the entire site and finishing the job in such a timely manner. Great job!

Company was reliable, prompt, courteous, and professional. Work was completed to my satisfaction. Cost was competitive, and I appreciated the Angie's List discount.

My first contact was with their website which has an estimator a homeowner can use to get a basic cost estimate for their work. This worked very well for me, so I contacted the company,. Greg responded and came to my house to measure and develop a real cost estimate, which was very close to what I got using their estimator. He was extremely helpful and informative in helping us make a decision about which shutters we would get. Later their engineer, Keith, came to do final measurements. They processed the paperwork for the city permit. They made an appointment for installation and arrived on time. Two men, Flavio and Roger, installed the shutters. If you ever have Assured Storm Protection do any work for you, try to get these two men to do the actual work. They are very professional and very thorough. Upon completion of the job, Flavio instructed me how to operate the shutters and points to be particularly attentive to to ensure their proper functioning during a hurricane.

A placed a call and right away Robert called me back and set up an appointment at the time that both my husband and I be home. He came right on time and was the most pleasant person to work with. He measured all the windows and doors and gave us several alternatives in pricing. After a few options, we decided in panel storm shutters thru the house and one accordion shutter on the designated exit door. Oh, the first thing Robert gave me was a nice folder with all the accredited information, license and everything I needed to know about the company. We have 4 difficult windows and he made phone calls for possible alternatives. Once all was done, the price was surprisingly lower than other quotes. Seems they manufacture their own shutters so that created a better price. We signed up right away and gave them a deposit. After a couple of weeks, got the call to set up appointment. This company took care of all permits, drawings to the city and made every so smooth. Workers to installed the shutters came right on time. They worked all day and left shutters up for the inspector. They kept me informed the inspectors visit progress and once it passed. They came back and removed all the panels and stored them for us neatly in the garage. Very professional company and at the end, we got a final affidavit that contract was paid in full, gave us a design drawing of the panel numbers matching each window and a 10 year warranty certificate. For the above price we got 10 windows, two doors and one accordion. Will recommend this company to anyone for the smooth perfect process we received.

Everyone we dealt with was very professional. They did exactly as promised. They showed up on time for all appointments. We had left for NJ before the job was done. We had to give them a gate pass to our community. We asked for photos to me e-mailed, when the job was completed, as well as dropping our pass key in the mail. Everything was performed as asked. We saw the completed job, via photos, and it looks great. (We also had a relative who lives nearby check the job. He concurred it looked great). Great job! Would highly recommend Assured Storm Protection.

Bid was not the lowest, but we were fortunate to pay just a bit more for much better quality windows. Can't wait to have them installed in June 2014. Will update this review following the install process.

We found Assured Storm Protection on Angie's List along with 3 other window companies. We had all of them out to do a quote for us. Our home was a bit of a challenge since it is wood frame. Many of the windows needed framing work due to moisture damage from the old windows not being caulked properly. We decided to go with Assured for the following reasons: 1. Anthony the salesperson came out to our house within one day of requesting a quote. He was really prompt with his responses and took the time to show us displays of different windows and shutters and explain why they work with certain products. 2. Since our home was a difficult install, it seemed that some of the other companies did not want to do the work. This was based on a lack of experience in my opinion. Anthony and the engineer Keith knew exactly what could be done and how to do it, and were very clear about the scope of the project. 3. Price was a small consideration (we wanted the installation done right), but Assured was about 10k below the other 3 estimates we received. Our price was a bit higher than a standard window job because we needed them to redo all of the window frames. Anthony let us know that their prices are a lot lower because of their volume and the fact they manufacture their own accordion shutters. Overall, we chose Assured due to the glowing recommendations on Angie's List, their attention to detail and clear description of what would be done to our home, the really great price for quality CGI windows, and the fact that we had great communication from day one. We received an installation date three weeks after we placed our order. We were actually going away on a trip, and decided to trust Anthony and Keith to do the installation while we were gone. When we returned home, we were so excited at the job that these guys did!! First of all, the house was spotless. There was no dust anywhere any you could tell they did a thorough cleaning job in the home. Secondly, the custom pressure treated window frames were perfect. Our front doors look so good that 2 of our neighbors are having doors done with this company. When I inspected the windows I was really impressed to see the amount of caulking that they added around the frames and how smooth the lines were done. And the best part is the noise reduction!! We have an active neighborhood with lots of kids playing outside and our house is now whisper quiet!! I don't write a lot of reviews, but just had to thank Assured for doing such an amazing job on our home. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for the best price (we saved 10k) from a quality company who looks after their customers. Keith the engineer even helped us save on our front door handle sets by showing us some great choices on Amazon. We got Baldwin lock sets for both doors for $180 (reg $600) with his help. If you are in the market for hurricane protection for your home do not go with anyone until you have called this company!

Their salesman (Frank) came out for our initial meeting - showed us how the shutters operate, along with color samples, took some measurements, etc. - then he gave us a written estimate before leaving. We ultimately decided to go with Assured because of their excellent reputation. Once we signed the contract and gave them our deposit - they immediately scheduled a meeting with their engineer - who took exact window measurements and started the ball rolling with their production department. He also took care of obtaining the required permits from the city. Our shutters were installed (in about 5 hrs) and approved by the city inspector within 3 days. The inspector said it was a very "professional" job - one of the best he'd seen - which definitely made our day !!! All in all - installation was completed with 30 days from the time we had our initial meeting with the salesman - needless to say - we are very satisfied customers :-)

Overall superb job. Salesman Anthony and engineer Jeff could not have been more informative, friendly and helpful. Even on my sales call Anthony was running slightly late due to traffic and had the courtesy to call me. My shutters were installed right on time and exactly when promised. I'm a careful buyer and got 6 quotes. Price point is not my only consideration for a product. Assured offers a superior shutter, and was the only company that offered optional see-through portholes, enabling me to look out during closure or a storm. Assured did manage to beat out every competitor on price, which varied wildly. Assured also included the building permit in the price, scheduled the inspection, so zero hassle for me. Other companies either wanted me to pull my own permit or would charge me additional for it. During my initial sales call, Anthony had mentioned an egress lock for one of my openings. Somehow during contract signing this lock was overlooked. After the install I realized that it was not included, I called Anthony and Jeff. Jeff called me back shortly, came to my home within the hour and installed the lock free of charge. Now THAT'S customer service, so rarely found here in South Florida! I had very positive experience with this company overall, and would highly recommend them for your hurricane shutter/window needs. I would grade them A+!

Richard Schagrin was our sales person. They came out within 4 weeks of calling. It went better than expected. Their work was quick and clean. They were not pushy and very fairly priced. I had three other estimates and they were by far the best. They even gave me the option of fabric over some oddly shaped windows.

I called Assured Storm Protection to install hurricane accordion shutters for a home in Miami. my initial conversation with a sales associate was within the same day that I called to inquire about service. The person who I spoke with was very personable and asked me questions to get the process going. I also let them know that I would be handling this service from California and all of the business would have to be conducted without me being present. I spoke with other companies that were not able to accommodate that detail. Once I was given a quote, I did check other prices as well, but Assured turned out to be the most affordable and they would work with me from out of state. I was given a step by step of the process including obtaining permits and how long the actual installation would take from point of purchase. Everything from that point on when according to plan and as soon as the shutters were installed I received photos of the finished product. I had a very smooth sailing with this company and the communication was one of the highlights. If I ever had a question, I could call and ask at any time. If I left a message, my call was returned very quickly and all emails were answered. My experience was a very positive one.

I obtained estimates from 5 contractors, all obtained from Angie's List. While Assured was not the lowest, their salesman Robert was the most informative and left me with a good feeling about the company. I signed with Assured soon after our initial meeting. Assured sent their engineer out to verify what as required & they obtained all the needed permits. The install was done on schedule. There was a minor issue with one of the accordion shutters. When I contacted the company they sent someone out immediately and the minor problem was resolved. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Anthony the VP of Sales was outstanding with the initial visit and follow through. He was very thorough in his explanations and also presentation of their product. Their price points were competitive and also explanations as to why on their product and how it compares to the industry. The Engineer Keith came out and surveyed the house and was also very insightful and informative of the process. Would recommend for future service.

The job was completed as committed to as all of the shutters were attached to the home with great care and an eye for detail. The crew was also able to adjust and allow for last minute requests and complete the job as scheduled. The completed job easily passed all inspections and the shutters are in excellent working order

Price was competitive. They were punctual and reliable, doing everything they promised, when they promised it. The only small issue was communication between they sales rep and the factory staff. I had to call back and email several times throughout the process to make sure the information was communicated to the right person. A little frustrating, but overall, I am quite satisfied with the company and the job and would easily recommend them.

Very professional from the sales person to installation. I do recommendasking for references to talk to and not just depending on ratings on Angie's list. Sometimes warranty extensions and/or discounts for positive reviews take some of the objectivity out of the review process. Or that is my fear anyway. I will update this review in 3 months based on the performance of the Assured product.
