As a native and lifelong resident of Southeast Florida I have weathered every landfall hurricane since 1949. In high school and junior college, I worked in the family lumber yard and sold materials just as the hurricanes approached and then went home after dark to install our own shutters in the horizontal, eye stinging rain. Last year my dear wife decided to relieve me of the task of putting up storm shutters. We ordered hurricane proof windows & sliding shutters and replaced our dog-scratched, sliding glass door out back. The new windows took a while to make but Assured came and installed them expertly. The installers stayed to show us the ins-and-outs of the windows and doors. It has been almost nine months since installation and we could not be happier. The sliders do not show our dog scratchings and we no longer have strange worms roaming our house. Our electric bill is a bit less than before. A surprise bonus is that the party music from our neighbor across the street can no longer be heard through these windows or sliding doors.

We selected this company due to the great reviews found in different sites even tough they are not cheap. When we signed the contract back in April they commit to install in 14 to 18 weeks. It’s a long time but again, we decided to move forward due to the credibility of the company. However, they fail to their commitment and they called us today to schedule the installation until September. Their justification is a delay in the materials. For the price tag and the already long timeline, I would have never expected this. It’s very disappointing. Just be aware of this in case you are considering doing business with them.

They showed up on time, got all my windows done in 1 day (I had 13 windows), cleaned up, and walked me around so I could be sure everything looked great. Would definitely recommend. Everyone has said how great they look.

The company was very responsible! And the quality of shutters excellent! Any time we called they called back! They came when they said they would be there!

From the estimate to the actual installation, I was very pleased with the work performed by Assured Storm. The engineer who reviewed the site before ordering identified a couple of options we could choose from which gave us the flexibility to decide which one would best serve our needs. Upon completion, the inspector reviewed the work and commented on what a professional job they did. Very pleased with all aspects of the work from start to finish and would highly recommend them

This winter I contracted with Assured Storm Protection in Pompano Beach, Fl to install SuperNova accordion hurricane shutters. From the initial contact with Barbara Medeiros to Greg Bono, who was a true professional on the sales end to Ed Applegate, a very capable engineer, all the contact and service was excellent. We were very fortunate to have John D. as our salesman. John is very informed and professional and helped us to choose the right hurricane windows and doors for our home. John has always been accessible, responds to emails, text messages and phone calls immediately, even after business hours as well as on the weekend. He helped us navigate through the process and has intervened on our behalf on several occasions to facilitate communication with another staff member who unfortunately has not provided the same level of customer service. I am a very detailed oriented person and admit to holding others to the same high standards of excellence that I expect of myself. John met and surpassed my expectations! John not only has excellent customer service skills but also puts the needs of his customers at the top of his priorities. My hurricane windows & sliding door were installed last week exactly within the time frame quoted at the contract signing. The entire process was extremely professional & everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable. The products have more than met my expectations & the aesthetic finishing touches were a surprise & impressive as compared to the installation from another company that I saw at a relatives condo. These include nicer door handles & coverings over the screws as well as the type of locking mechanism on the windows. I highly recommend Assured Storm Protection & have actually done so to several neighbors.

After interviewing and pricing other companies for hurricane storm shutters, we decided to go with Assured Storm Protection. The salesman was very knowledgeable of their product and gave us a quote immediately on the spot. Shutters were ordered and installed in a very timely way and we are so happy we went with Assured Storm Protection.

Everything went well, from the meeting with the salesman to the installation everyone was on time and work was performed in a timely manner.

It is refreshing today to deal with an efficient, caring large company. Assured installed 3 sets of hurricane sliders in my Palm Beach Oceanfront Apt. Their product is excellent, the installation and permit/ inspection process was flawless and their pricing was significantly less than other companies. Would use them again without hesitation and recommend them without reservation.

The work was exceptional and very professional. Starting from Robert sales personnel, he was very polite and provided all the needed information he guided us all the way and was available to answer to our questions whenever we had one. The engineers came in did all the work and even cleaned up the mess after. Every step of the way was taken care very professionally. I would recommend Assured Storm Protection anytime.

I would definitely recommend Assured Storm Protection. They responded promptly to my initial request for a quote and the salesman arrived at the time and date promised. He was professional and explained the products and procedure going forward. The prices quoted and the downpayment amounts were very reasonable. The engineers came as promised to do the measurements and they also provided excellent explanation of the process. The installation went very smoothly and was accomplished during the time frame promised originally by the salesman. The installers were very professional and cleaned up after the work nicely. The shutters and windows appear to be of excellent quality and look great compared to others I have seen around. My only quibble would be that communication from the office was somewhat partial at times, such as when I requested copies of the permits, but only received one, even after a second request for the other permit. This may have been due to the fact that they were separating the company into two separate companies for shutters and for windows. This was a minor issue in the end, given their overall excellent performance.

Excellent. They were great. Easy install. Professional installers. Couldn't be happier. Feel very safe now thanks to their company.

4 weeks later and I'm still waiting on my quote! Robert came out to the house 4/24, took measurements for both impact windows/doors and accordion shutters. The quote(s) came 5 days later on 4/29, however the quote for the impact glass was missing over half of the house windows. I contacted Robert shortly thereafter and he said he must have gotten the measurements mixed up and he'd have to come out again to remeasure. He did that the following week on 5/3 and told us he'd have the quote within a day or 2. I waited just over a week and still no quote from him. I finally followed up with both a phone call and a text message on 5/16; he had to recount how many windows I have. Again said he'd get me the quote that evening. Still no quote today 5/24. I guess we'll go with another company. Disappointing because others seemed to have a good experience with this company- I can't event get a quote! C grades are because he was nice and friendly, texted me about our appointment and showed up on time to measure. Just terrible follow-through.

From the start of requesting a call through their website from a salesperson online to working with John to the installation and inspection process was a seamless process that kept me informed, worked with my budget and needs, and were very responsive the entire time. We went with the Supernova accordions for the majority of our home. The installation took less than a day and they are unbelievably easy to close! We installed ECO front doors and windows. I visited the ECO showroom in Miami to pick out front doors and that was quite the operation! I felt very comfortable with this brand being installed and knowing our family would be safe during a storm. Overall an excellent company to work with and they did a great job to accommodate our individual needs to build a plan that was right for us.
