Armstrong Relocation - Fort Lauderdale

THEIFS - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was assigned this company when relocation from California to Florida for work. They came out, packed me and moved everything to my new home, where I unpacked my belongings. In my closet my kept a large tote full of all my purses. I am a bit of a collector of designer purses, call it my guilty pleasure. Once everything was delivered to my home, and my "bingo sheet" showed I was not missing any numbered boxes they had numbered and packed from California, I signed the paperwork and let the mover get back to his busy day. Once I was all unpacked, I noticed none of my purses were in any of the boxes. When I filed a claim stating I was missing every purse I owned, I was told too bad you signed off, not our fault. It is obvious at this point, that the whole tote was never even accounted for, for me to know it was "missing" upon delivery. I spoke with the VP of the company, Shannon Barnes, and I was told there was nothing that would be done because I cannot account for every purse I have ever owned. I was also made feel like the problem, for even owning nice purses and was made feel like I was obviously lying. Do not trust this company with your items, and if you do, MAKE SURE NOT TO SIGN ANYTHING until you know you have everything. I was told I had to sign, but this is not true, you do not have to sign anything, and by doing so you are giving this company the green light to steal your stuff.

Armstrong was delightful to deal with every step of the way. This was a difficult move for us because we couldn't get into our new home right away and didn't have an exact move-in date. Then we discovered damage to our new home and had to cancel the move date on short notice. The representatives from Armstrong were extremely accommodating and flexible as our plans seemed to change daily. The extra cost of having to move into storage was unavoidable, but Armstrong worked with us to try minimize the expense. Their price overall was very fair. The movers were extremely professional and efficient. They handled our items with great care and didn't damage a single thing! I wouldn't consider using any other mover in the future!

They were fabulous! They arrived exactly on time and were extremely professional. They took great care with my furniture and boxes and it all arrived safe and sound with no damage. I was in a condo on the 3rd floor with no elevator and they quickly and easily carried my furniture down the steps, including around tight corners, with no complaints. We also had to stop at a storage locker about 1 mile from my condo to pick up additional boxes... lots of them. They were very efficient, professional, careful and stayed positive throughout. Mary did my estimate and she was great. I have a fragile tiled table top that needed to be moved. She arranged for a special box and padding and it made the trip with no issues. I highly recommend Armstrong Relocation in Pompano Beach. They are worth every penny!

Their price was high but it was worth it based on the quality that they provided. We had heavy rainfall, like 15 inches of rain, that day, and they did an excellent job persevering and getting the job done. A couple of things were damaged, but I think it was because of extenuating circumstances - because of the rain.

He was an absolutely marvelous mover. He was just very, very good. He supplied us with used boxes for free and anything we needed. He was absolutely Johnny-on-the-spot. His workers were very good and professional. They were very careful and neat and they were extremely accomodating. All three moving companies we got quotes from were within a hundred dollars or so of the same quote. He even took time and taught us how to pack the fragile goods so that we could get a head start and take care of it quickly. We were all so impressed.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY ARE A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY GENTLE WITH OUR THINGS. THEY DID NOT BREAK A SINGLE THING. EVERYTHING GOT TO IT'S DESTINATION ON TIME.
