AmeriAcoast Pressure Washing

I've used this company each year for the last 5 years on my concrete S tile roof. The Milgard product works great and I do not need to have pressure washing done each year. Just a quick spray application of Milgard to renew the protection. It saves a lot of wear and tear on the roof and the roof looks great all year long. The work crew performed a roof inspection and repaired (adhesive / cement) a couple broken tiles at no charge. The teams of men (2) who come each year do a very professional job and it takes about an hour. They spray all my landscaping down with water after the treatment to remove any overspray and to prevent damage. This year they must have missed one of my shrubs by the front door because it lost all it's leaves over the two weeks following the treatment. The leaves are coming back and it is starting to look good again. It was a minor nuisance and not enough to cause me to reduce my score, but it would be better if it hadn't happened. Ameriacoast doesn't have their workers collect payment for the work when the job is finished. In the past, Ameriacoast had always emailed an invoice (within a week or two after the job was done) and I called to give them my credit card number after I got the invoice. This year I didn't get the email invoice and instead got a call from the owner about a week after the service saying he would really like to be paid. He was pleasant, but I felt a bit like a delinquent account being collected. We talked a bit and he explained that Ameriacoast is no longer a division of Latite Roofing. It was bought by the employees last year. When I asked why he doesn't have his workers collect payment when the job is done, he said they were going to start collecting payment in advance when the customer calls for service, before the work was done. I hope they don't do this. I don't like paying contractors in advance. I would be perfectly happy paying the work crew as soon as the job is complete. If the policy next year is to pay in advance, I would consider getting quotes from alternative providers.

They did a great job. They showed up on time and did a very professional job. They finished everything in a reasonable amount of time. The roof has never looked better. I felt that the price was very reasonable.
