Travis called me in the late afternoon to help me register my new alarm panel. I emailed the company about registration early in the morning and i was surprised on how long it took for a call back. During the registration and install Travis was professional and was able to help me through. Other then the length of time for a call back everything was great and Travis was awesome. I would buy from Alarm Grid again.

One conversation with Jarrett and I was all set to update our system with three new pieces of equipment plus whatever wireless sensors I wished to add. Not being an electronics whizz, Jarrett assured me that with Alarm Grid's help, I could do this work myself. Mounted the equipment, changed out the outdated Prom chip, did a little wiring, and fired it up! Only tools required were wire cutters, various screw drivers, and 4-conductor alarm wire to tie into the main control panel. Alarm Grid people checked on my rebuild progress, helped me navigate and repair a fault code, and answered numerous questions along the way. We are very satisfied with the end result!

Have had professionally installed alarm systems in the last couple of homes and had read about Honeywell Lyric and its HomeKit compatibility. Found Alarm Grid through a few searches and reddit posts with a DIY professional Lyric system. I reached out and they were friendly, responsive and informative with my installation and questions, even looking at pictures to ensure I had the right setup. DIY Install was a breeze and activation was quick on the phone after I did the install. Impressed and would do it all over again.

The representative I worked with was Dylan who was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He walked me through each step until the transfer process was complete. He was very polite and professional.

Overall it was a pretty good experience. It wasn't plug and play by any means, but I worked with Sophie for about an hour on the phone and we got things up and running. She was very polite and went the extra mile instead of just giving up and forwarding it on to the next person.

I loved how easy they made it to “Do It Yourself” Dylan called at the appointed time and walked me through everything. Couldn’t have been easier! And I love their many options for monitoring and the lower prices. Got everything I had through my old alarm system/company and more for half the price.

We have used AlarmGrid to install a hard-wired home security system at our house. I have contacted them by phone, live chat, and email on multiple occasions to troubleshoot and select the required equipment. They have great prices and phenomenal customer service. I would highly recommend them for purchase of alarm equipment, tech support on the installation side, and for long term monitoring.

State of the art DIY alarm systems still require smart choices of hardware along with some post setup assistance. And this company is THE COMPANY to go with for BOTH system purchase and monitoring. The price is right & the service is OUTSTANDING! I installed a rather elaborate system with some very specific requirements. (This wasn't "my first rodeo" as I was replacing an ageing system from the ground up.) Post setup activation support (over the phone) was outstanding thanks to Dylan! (system testing/review & training with Q&A over the phone) far exceeded my expectations. (He was extremely knowledgeable & helpful .) Even on those few occasions where "high level" technical questions required assistance from the "tech department", correct answers were only moments away. (All questions were answered over the phone during our post consultation/review!) Setup was quick and easy. Dylan explained Central Station contacts, Total Connect, and insurance Certificate. He was able to answer all of my questions. If you need a non-contact monitoring company this is the one to use. Others may be a little cheaper but look at their BB ratings and other reviews.

These guys are great. There is no equipment mark-up on the parts - in fact, some of their prices were lower than Amazon. They assist you every step of the way with the design of your system, and are always available over email, phone or chat to assist. Response time is great. When it comes time to activate, they took 1 hour to walk me through the system over the phone, and were able to access my system remotely to QC the install. I was very impressed with the entire process, and have already recommended this company to others.

I was searching for a company that was willing to work with me and allow me flexibility. Alarm Grid was great - they answered about 20 questions on a chat session until I was happy. I choose the self monitor plan and everything went smoothly. Best of all everything has been so easy. Any time I have a question I just contact them. I plan a lot more automation on this system. Exceptionable. Far exceeded my expectations. I started off trying to understand Honeywell's AlarmNet 360 and learned that Honeywell is NOT VERY friendly or helpful to even knowledgeable DIY homeowners. I contacted Alarm Grid and they were simply overwhelmingly helpful. I bought the controller from them and signed up for an AlarmNet account for $10 per month and they just took over and helped me with EVERYTHING. The tech guy Jorge _ was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I cannot explain in an email how helpful and supportive they were. Jorge went in and fixed issues that I had had for ten years. Unbelievable. If you are looking for alarm equipment or their broad range of monitoring options YOU MUST CHECK Alarm Grid out. This provider is an authorized Honeywell and Home Connect authorized dealer. Most of my alarm and automation parts were purchased before I had a relationship with the company. This review is for the excellent service I received from Alarm Grid. All of my dealings with this company has been with Sterling Donnelly. Anytime (and I am talking quite a few times), Sterling has helped me get connected and with programming of my system. My system is a Vista 21ip with both wired and wireless sensors. I buy self monitoring from Alarm Grid and completely monitor my system via Total Connect using SMS and Push notifications to my wireless devices (iPad, iPhone, etc.). Anytime that I encountered an error with my programming or need help adding devices, all I need to do is send Sterling an email and he replies promptly (must of the time in mins or hours). Just yesterday I had a problem with my wireless Ademco Smoke Detectors. If I would purposely set them off with smoke to test them, the detectors would sound an alarm, however it wouldn't activate my sirens and talk to my keypads. Sterling connected to my panel within an hour of sending my email and just fixed it, then emailed me back and told me exactly what I did wrong with the programming, and told me how to program it myself if I decide to add more detectors in the future. Let me say and I am totally be honest with you... I DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS. I DO NOT TALK TO TELEMARKETERS so me writing this review is because of my satisfaction with Sterling and business. If you need any alarm parts or monitoring for your alarm, I recommend you go with Alarm Grid. I feel so blessed that I found this company. It was just by chance in searching the Internet. Oh let me mention something else, Sterling has several You Tube videos that walk you step by step in setting up various parts of the Honeywell Alarm System. I have to say, I watch a lot of these videos. I found most to be very helpful. Alarm Grid offers full monitoring and self monitoring packages. I purchased the self monitoring and automation package. I have total control of my system (which I love) and it is very reliable. By the way, good luck in finding a company that provides self monitoring. The plans are very reliable and you are billed monthly. There is no pressure and no contracts. This is an honest to god true review. Take my word for it. Try it. You can't go wrong.
