Description of Work: Requested that work not completed by previous contractor be completed. Attach drain kitchen, reattach plumbing 2 lavatories, install a commode. I thought that when I stated to finish the bath at $850++ dollard it included grouting and finishing the walls. I was left with getting another contractor to finish the walls. The commode needed to be replaced in the master bath, when I spoke with Rob I said I thought the commode to that bath was there. It wasn't. INstead of calling me or putting in a new commode: They found a pink commode in the garage and installed that. When I saw pictures sent by the real estate agent which showed a pink toilet in a white bath, I called. Rob seemed annoyed that I questioned his judgment about installing an old pink toilet. I flew to FL , bought a commode, and brought it to the house: I was charged an additional fee for that installation. Instead of repairing what I was told was a leaking faucet, it was replaced with a nice new CHEAP faucet.

+ -1 moreVery poor hot water pressure in bathrooms. It wasn't great when we moved in seven years ago and had only become worse. Rob came out and checked the hot water heater, faucets and looked in the attic and determined that a replumb would be necessary. He then sent Craig and Dave out to analyze the situation and give me an estimate. I got two other estimates and decided to go with AKM because they had done another home like mine and would patch any holes that were necessary. I liked other work AKM had done. Estimates were very close. They did an excellent job, making some good suggestions as well as listening to my suggestions. It is wonderful to finally be able to take a hot shower without waiting 10 min. for warm water to drip out. We also discovered that the kitchen and laundry are much improved and we didn't think there was a problem there.
Description of Work: Replumbed the house, replacing galvanized pipe with copper.
