Ryan answered my request for a repair and we agreed on a day/time. I took off work. He continued to delay the time throughout the day and never showed up claiming he couldn’t get there before 6pm. We rescheduled to the following business day and again I took off work. He never showed, never called, never answered my texts. Stay away from this company.

As usual, Jim did an excellent job. Since he does not fix ductwork, he referred me to another company and did not even charge me a service call charge. Today he thoroughly inspected my system so it is ready for the summer season.

Jim tried to help me out over the phone earlier in the afternoon, but I forgot to mention that the roofing crew had been here earlier. I have been using AC by Jim for years. He's one of the most honest and reliable people I've dealt with here in South Florida. I've had other AC companies come to my office and try to charge me exorbitant fees, however Jim has never taking advantage of me or my business. I not only use Jim for my office but I use him for my private residence too. Broke my outside tap, then recommended another provider who performed poorly, at an equal price point. Got refrigerator to stop leaking however - this was good, but pricey. Ice still doesn't work after replacement of part.

replaced ice maker but still did not work got a second ice maker but still did not work discussed the other possible parts that would need to be replaced but were too expensive to be worth it. refunded cost of original ice maker minus a small labor cost. Jim was very responsive and came out to house numerous times to try to resolve problem. Was very quick to issue refund when problem could not be resolved.

I moved into a new place to me. I knew that the ice maker needed replacement and the disposal, too. Once, I occupied the place, I began my search for someone to do this work. I called Angie's List and was referred to Air Conditioning & Appliance By Jim. I didn't wait to be contacted. I initiated contact. I do have hearing problems, but Jim was very understanding and we did just fine. We made a tentative appointment, but that had to be cancelled and rescheduled a couple of days later. We made the next one. He called to let me know when he was on the way. The disposal was installed and the ice maker checked out for the problem. The ice maker needed to be replaced. He called to check on the part and it was in. Then scheduled the installation for the next day. Again, he called to let me know he was on the way. The installation went very smoothly and fast. He explained what was going on in both cases. Gave a few tips on use and care of both. He was very courteous and professional. During the installations, was careful with the surrounding areas, being very neat and clean. I would use him again. As a matter of fact, I am planning to use him to check out the AC system.

The provider contacted me and we discussed the service needed. He advised me the part was more expensive and that replacing the unit would be more cost effective. He was very friendly and professional.

As usual, Jim did a wonderful job. He is the person to call for all your air conditioning needs. Honest, fairly priced, and efficient...can't beat that.

This is an update too the services performed back in February and a recent experience. I began having issues with my refrigerator and freezer again after the service I received and originally commented about. I live alone and work during the week so it's difficult for me to schedule service appointments like this. My company's closed July 3rd for the holiday - so I called earlier in the week to see if someone would be able to come out and the answer was no everyone is on vacation for the holiday. The man's phone etiquette is terrible - if he said "I appreciate that ma'am" one more time I was going to hang up. I found another person on Angie's list and they were able to come out today (July 3rd) and the man told me that the problem I'm having is because of the previous work that was done. A part was taken out and not replaced and it was done incorrectly. I will never Jim's Appliance again.
