Description of Work: Dal's came out to give me an estimate on fixing my sprinkler system. Bill and his helper were on time and very professional. They had a cancellation that day, so they went right to work after we discussed the problems and the price. I thought they did excellent work for good value. Bill was very personable and helpful with other questions I had and offered to send someone he trusts to help me with that issue. They did a great job and were finished very quickly. I would definitely use Dal's again.

Description of Work: My tree trimmers broke one of my sprinkler lines while removing a tree. The PVC pipe was already exposed and the repair took them about 20 minutes for a quoted cost of $95 plus the cost of parts. I was told they price jobs by the hour @ $95 per hour. The main guy said he would walk around and check the system since they charge by the hour, not by the job. After he did this, he comes back to me recommending another $250 worth of work to basically replace 10 sprinkler heads which were all working just fine. I can do this myself for a lot less money! Since it seemed very sketchy, especially the more I questioned and probed, I paid for the line repair and said thanks but no thanks!

Description of Work: Bill identified the issues with our sprinklers quickly. He found the break that was preventing decent water pressure from reaching the sprinkler heads, and installed new taller sprinklers as needed. He was professional in scheduling and on time. We would recommend this vendor.

Description of Work: Been using Dal's for a long time - he installed our system 9 years ago when we moved into Weston. always professional, always gets the job done. You may pay a little more, but he is worth it, every penny. I have a small problem, call him up, done! This time I had someone paint our house, and they somehow screwed witht the timer. One call, he comes out and fixes it. Done. Can't beat that with a stick.

Description of Work: I had bought the big deal for a tune up. They had an appointment to come out 2 days later. Getting them on the phone and scheduling the appointment was easy. They came to the house and tested and fixed the whole system...and I did not have any new costs or surprise expenses. I thought that something was not working right, so I called them up to talk about it. They told me they thought it was ok, but would come out and check it out. The next morning they were there...and they were right...I was looking at the wrong thing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: The company was great. The work was done quickly and all the details were explained. The $49 was a great lure to spend more money but I guess it depends on how much work is needed as a result of the tune-up. Now I know that the initial cost is just to get the consumer in; then the final cost is the same as any other contractor. So, what am I really paying Angie's List for? Peace of mind? I guess that has a price too.

Description of Work: The company told us what was wrong with the sprinklers and quoted $1100. The landscapers recommended another company who were efficient and check to ensure full coverage of the entire property and charged us $715.

Description of Work: I called Dal's as a result of two things: first, they were offering a $49 maintenance inspection and second, my business partner had used them for a repair and gave me a good recommendation. I have signed up with them for their yearly maintenance program and will continue to use them. I was using another provider before who was more expensive and based on Dal's evaluation, they found problems that the other provider did not. They were very thorough, easy to deal with and fair on the price. They came exactly when they said they would and responded very quickly to my response. I would definitely recommend them. Bill, the owner, came out with two other men and they surveyed my whole property and fixed several leaking sprinklers and added a head in the back of the property.

Description of Work: After having two other Sprinkler companies come out to give me an estimate, I finally met with Bill. I told him what the other guys told me was wrong with my system and he did a full inspection of every sprinkler head. I told him that I had turned off the system because I felt I had a leak of the main line to the house. The other companies told me I had a seeping valve and wanted to replace one of the valves. Bill gave me a very fair estimate which was slightly lower then the other two companies. After working on it for several hours Bill called me and told me I was correct, he had found a leak of the main line caused by a small trees roots. He removed the small tree and repaired the pipe. He fixed everything that was wrong with my system and stuck to his original estimate to the penny. You just don't find guys like Bill anymore. Thanks Bill and I'll be sure to recommend you to anyone I know who needs a good honest guy to fix their sprinklers.

Description of Work: I have had a mud pit on the side of my house for many years, nobody has been able to isolate the problem, until Dal came along. He knew exactly what the issue was immediately, gave me a fair and reasonable price, and got the job done. Not only was he prompt, he got to my house a day earlier than he promised. Description of Work: Bill came out with 3 men today, just as he said he would. They were very professional, polite, did the work in a competent and efficient manner, they had all the necessary materials and clearly knew what they're doing. They did an Angie's List clean and adjust heads, test and set timer. And, they also did extensive repairs, added pipe and cleaned, adjusted and replaced bad heads on the sprinklers in my backyard rain forest. I believe they provided an excellent service at a fair price, they earned my confidence and I've signed up for regular maintenance.
