 + -1 moreI called Dal's for a sprinkler system tune-up. My husband passed away almost 3 years ago and he always took care of this type of stuff and about all I knew was how to turn the system on. I did know that I had at least two leaks because they were visible and I figured the system needed other work because it is 21 years old and has had only minimal necessary maintenance. When Bill arrived, he went through all the problems, most of which I was aware of, and how much it would cost. He called me out periodically to explain what issues he had found and what was being done to make the repairs. He demonstrated how to set the timer and change the automatically set days. Throughout he was courteous and professional
Description of Work: Repair leaks, check and replace sprinkler heads, test that all were working properly, repair timer.

 + -1 moreI called Dal's to see if they could come out and fix a leak in our main water line. The landscape company had to dig out the roots first which took most of the day. I called Dal's at 3:30pm and they came out that same day and did the repair. Amazing! I thought for sure we would have to wait at least a day or two. Bill and his guys were very professional and easy to deal with. They even took the time to service and repair the sprinkler system.
Description of Work: The main water line to our house had been broken by roots from an oak tree. Dal's repaired the broken line and serviced our sprinkler system.

Description of Work: Replaced defective sprinkler heads and pipes, raised and moved heads where necessary to better reach shrubs and plants, capped unnecessary heads, checked pump and reset timer to local restrictions.

 + -1 moreThis company was great. After replacing the intake pipe, the system still was not up to par. Bill suggested replacing the pump, but didn't pressure me to do this. I had the pump replaced and then had multiple sprinkler heads replaced. The system is now working great. They responded quickly to my first phone call and kept me posted at every step along the way. I would definitely use this company again!
Description of Work: I live on a canal. They changed the intake pipe which was full of barnacles, pump, and multiple sprinkler heads.

 + -1 moreI was very happy with the great service provided by this company. They were prompt, very efficient,, polite and professional. I was shown the areas of clogged pipe and explained the reasons for the malfunction of the system. They carefully refilled the trenches which they had to dig, and replaced the grass. The cleanup was great. The whole experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: 1. replaced broken sprinkler heads 2. dug out, exposed, and repaired sprinkler pipes which were clogged in 3 different locations preventing water from reaching front sprinklers on west side of the house 3. general evaluation of all sprinklers, front and back of house. They also checked the time clock to make sure it was working properly

Description of Work: I've used Dal's for many years and was excited when I saw that this was available. Bill Dalrymple is a wonderful sprinkler installation and/or maintenance guy.  + -1 moreHad the tune up coupon / service. They did a thorough job. Identified a couple heads that needed replacing. Also had them install a floating device for my sprinkler intake pipe - they cleaned the intake screen in the process. They found a problem with my zone valve and recommended a part replacement vs. entire unit which was appreciated. The unit still malfunctioned, however, but they came out twice promptly to continue to adjust it until working properly. Appreciated their professionalism and diligence.
Description of Work: Coupon for tune up. Replace some heads. Adjust some heads. Install intake floater and clean. Repair zone valve.

 + -1 moreTerrific experience. The fixed three water leaks from my systems which will lower my water bill. Highly recommend them. They came on a Satuday too. These guys are highly knowledgable and have been doing this for years and years.
Description of Work: The went through my sprinkler lines and cleaned them out and replaced the heads. They also found three water leaks that I have been looking for for almost two years. Plumbers and others could not find them. They were punctual and very professional and thorough. They went through my sprinkler system with me and explained to me how to use the timer. Terrific Experience. and they came out on a Saturday morning to boot.

Description of Work: This is the 2nd time we have used Dal's and I will continue to use them. They do good work and do it on time, as promised. Their first trip out I was having pump problems. They discovered the problem and fixed it the same day. Same trip out was to make our system more efficient. They "tuned" things up, replace heads as necessary, fixed some pressure issues with 2 of the zones, cleaned heads with screens etc.

 + -1 moreDal's Sprinkler And Landscaping Not only did he correct my zoning and coverage issue, he made recommendations. The recommendations were relatively inexpensive, and improved my lawn by leaps and bounds. I was very happy with him. I paid $250 for something that would have been $700 dollars worth of work. He came and told me what he thought the problem was. Told me where I could use different heads, and had to run a new line. He came the next day, earlier in the morning than they said they would. Said they would be here at 12:pm, they were here at 7:30am. By 2:00pm they were completely finished. People think he is my family member, because I push him. He was great, absolutely fantastic ! He is extremely knowledgeable in his profession.

Description of Work: Bill arrived on May 5th, 2011 to provide an estimate. It was reasonable, and when I told him I would be going out of town for a couple of weeks Bill offered to do the work the next day so I would not be concerned about the system while I was away. Bill explained he would have to add new new heads for better coverage, have to replace bad heads, adjust remaining heads, and rebuild the zone valve. The next morning May 6th, Bill performed the work he discussed and honored the Angie's list coupon. Bill also has been out since that time to make minor adjustment to the water coverage. I would definitely recommend Dal's Sprinkler & Landscaping to anyone in the south Florida area. I have already recommended him to my neighbors. Bill is professional and takes care in explaining and answering questions. Great experience!
