Guy, from United Freight, handled the transaction and details for us. At each step in the process, from the initial request for a price quote to the follow up once the vehicle arrived, he provided prompt and exceptional service. We secured bids from multiple carriers/brokers and with the Angie's List discount, that United Freight was offering at the time, applied they came in with the best price by approximately the amount of the discount. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the service we received from Guy and at all times I felt he was looking out for my best interest.

the driver was from the next town over. He was extremely pleasant to deal with. He texted me once my Son received the truck. He was great. The agent handling the service was Guy who was extremely proactive and professional. When he ran into a problem he delt with it and got another carrier within a day. I paid in advance by credit card to avoid the hassle of a check at delivery. This cost a few dollars more but it was worth it. Not it to many people ship a 87 Comanche jeep truck to Montana from Pa. But it was a God send for my Son who uses in his work as a apprentice plumber. I calculated it would have cost almost as much and more pain for mr to drive out to Montana and then fly back. i recommend this firm.

This is the second time I have transported a vehicle with United Freight of America. The entire process was handled very professionally. Guy was wonderful with keeping me updated as to the cost of transport, dates of availability, actual pickup date and time, etc. Chris, the driver, was also extremely professional and prompt. I felt good, knowing that my vehicle was in capable hands during the entire process. My experience has been excellent during both transports. I have also referred friends to United Freight of America who have also reported wonderful customer service and expert transport experiences. I will definitely use UFA for any future auto transport requirements.

Both times we were extremely pleased with the service. Everyone involved was courteous and professional. Driver even went out of his way to accommodate our travel schedule! Not the cheapest service around, but with so many shady operators out there it was worth every penny. Would highly recommend.

After booking the service, I got a call from Ely quickly. He was very courteous and professional when we spoke. I knew that I would be paying above average based on previous reviews I had read, but I still feel it was worth it. I provided the address of the residence to pickup from, and due to toll reasons, the delivery we agreed to meet somewhere outside of the residence in WA. My only qualm was that I felt like I needed to chase Ely for info on when the driver picking up would contact me. Granted, I had booked the service almost 3 weeks ahead of the pickup date, but even 1 day prior to the pickup date, I still hadn't heard what time the driver would come. Then I was told driver would pickup a day after the scheduled date, then on the original scheduled date the driver said he would come that afternoon but he wouldn't come to the address i provided and to meet the driver along a different street. So the car was driven to a major road point then had to walk back to the house. Keep in mind that if you use their service, to double check your address is actually where a truck can show up, otherwise you are wise to make additional accommodations for yourself. Delivery was fast, picked up on a Tuesday and delivered on a Thursday, only 2 days. Also a quick note, this car carrier isn't covered kind so your vehicle will be subject to the elements. I personally have no issues with that, but it may be useful info to someone else.

Guy scheduled my emergency transport quickly and efficiently. The driver Carlton was professional, articulate, and skilled. Loading my heavy, long, loaded, and wide dual rear wheel truck was no easy task. Carlton handled it like a pro -- no problems. I would definitely use United Freight of America again. Communication was great throughout.

Finding a safe and reliable auto transport company is a challenge and even the on-line review sites for auto transport companies are suspect. This is the reason I joined Angie's list and selected their best rated auto transport company. One call reenforced my level of comfort and I booked a round-trip transport from Las Vegas to Reno and back for a club event. The distance was about 850 miles total and the price of about $900 was quite competitive. All communication I had with United Freight of America was with one specific agent, Ely, who seemed to remember me each time that I called. These transport companies typically contract with individual truckers to do the transporting. For both directions the drivers handling the transport of my car were excellent. They called to say when they would arrive. They showed up on time. They handled my car with care. They told me when it would arrive at the destination. They delivered it when promised. And there was no damage. I will definitely recommend United Freight of America to fellow club members and use them again myself. This one tip was worth the cost of joining Angie's list.

Pick-up and drop off of the car went fine, and was done in a timely manner. The driver was great, he kept me up-dated, and called me to workout a great pick-up location.

The car pick up was smooth and no issues. But the drop off was anything but smooth. They informed us they would be by on Tuesday May 24 between 7am-11am. Once 11am past we tried calling the driver, no response. We tried texting, no response. After 2 hours we called their dispatch. They had the driver text us informing they were in San Antonio and would arrive that night. Once 6pm we tried calling and texting again and no response so we called their dispatch. Informed the car would be delivered the next day. The car was delivered the next day. But the driver arrived and told my wife to get in the car and had to drive to his truck. It was over 5 miles away. (NOT SAFE). Our apartment complex is very large with a shopping center across the street with ample parking and no cars in it, There was no need to park that far. Also, if the driver could not make it in, he was supposed to call us to meet him to pick the car up. That did not happen as well. I called to the dispatch to complain and the owner and I only had a yelling match. Called United Frieght and they are looking into it and waiting to hear back about how they will compensate or not compensate for our time and trouble.

This was such a hard decision because we had never used or needed such a service. We filled out some information through some online portal and were bombarded. We were very uncertain as we had heard nightmares about this industry. As we were deciding to go with a particular company, their reviews seemed fabricated. So we investigated. Sure enough, they were. My wife decided to join Angie's List to get a reliable recommendation. United Freight of America jumped right at us from the list. My wife made initial contact with Eli from UFA. Quickly the uncertainly we had turned into confidence. The approach was not only professional but credible. What we liked the most is that UFA was not a broker. Moreover, we really liked the fact that the car would stay on one truck and the same driver the whole way through. Once the paperwork was completed (easy as pie) we paid only a $295 deposit with the $700 balance due on delivery. We were then contacted by Eloy, the driver. Eloy could not be more courteous and professional. Our car was picked up the day after we contracted with UFA (a Wednesday) and delivered by Eloy to Tempe on Sunday; two days ahead of schedule! We could not believe the speed, value and quality of this transaction. For us, should the need ever arise, there only one choice in Auto Transportation: United Freight of America and in our case we would insist on Eloy being the driver. Well done across the board ... We are very pleased with service provided by Ely at United Freight of America. Car was delivered in five days as promised.

The only real issue was using a credit card. There is an additional fee and the drivers do? not like to accept them at the delivery point. A certified check or cash will smooth the process. Otherwise, the process was easy and our vehicles arrived in perfect condition and on time.

I tried for weeks to select a company to transport my vehicle from CA to NC using the internet. None of the companies I spoke with inspired any confidence to say the least. Finally, someone recommended I go through Angie's List. I interviewed three companies and chose United Freight. My point of contact Guy. He was very professional and made the transaction very easy. The driver was dispatched was great, and he communicated easily with me about pick up and drop off locations. I would highly recommend this company, and as a matter of fact, I did. My best friend used them to transfer a vehicle from North Carolina to New Jersey. She was very satisfied with the price and service as well. She also dealt with Guy.

It went better than expected. Setting up the pick up was easy. Dispatcher was very detailed with timing and price. NO hidden extra expenses. What your quoted is what you pay and delivered on the day your promised. I made a last minute change for my acr to get drop off 5 miles from the original location (as the car was in route) I contacted the driver and he called me back within 20 minutes. We made the change and delivered as promised. I would highly recommend this company over and over again. Great Job!

The company was prompt and gave me an Angie's List discount I wasn't even aware of! The company they arranged picked up the car from my seller and got it to DC within 24 hours, in a covered trailer. I would recommend them to anyone! And if you are shipping a car you should always be prepared to be flexible on pickup and dropoff days and times. These guys were great. Their price is a bit higher but it bought me peace of mind.

Original pick up window did not work out due to breakdown of truck that was supposed to come for pick up. The customer service person, Guy, did try everything he could to reschedule and even extended a $50 credit for lost time. The driver (Edgar) who did the transport was very punctual with the drop off. Very good experience overall.

From the initial call to delivery they were prompt and professional. They kept me well informed of the process start to finish. My car was picked up Tuesday night and delivered Saturday. Exceptional service

The first driver arranged by United Freight did not want to do the job. I called Eli and explained the situation to him. He quickly worked to resolve the difficulties I was experiencing, and came up with a more than satisfactory solution. Eli did an excellent job.
