Guy (his name) from United Feight was great as he arranged a delayed arrival if the Jeep Wrangler beat us to Florida. But that was unnecessary since we arrived on time. Andy from MCW Transport (the driver) also did a super job keeping us informed of the progress. The price was several hundred less than the other estimates. This was the first time we ever used a transport company and we would easily use them again. The $100 Angie’s List discount was also nice.

After two weeks and the company that was subbed to move my car, it was never done. I had to hire another company to get the job done. They did refund my money.

Overall the experience was pretty good. The original estimate was underestimated by almost $1000 but that was due to the fact that I underestimated the amount of boxes I was going to have. I estimated 20 boxes but it ended up being closer to 40 which is what caused the price increase. I thought that an extra $1,000 was a little excessive for 20 boxes but the overall service was great and everything was delivered on time and without issue.

It was very efficient and arrived quicker than expected. No damage to the car and the dispatchers were very responsive.

I was helping my brother who moved from Virginia to California and needed his car shipped. Our sister had just done so as well and had a horrible experience with another service she found online (Not through Angie's list. Her car was totaled.) I received quotes from 5 carriers, all from Angie's List, all with A ratings. All 5 gave a similar quoted price. I felt the responsiveness and professionalism of United Freight of America to be superior. There was a small deposit, with balance paid to driver upon receipt. I was given a 3 day window for the pickup and a 7-10 work day for delivery. I'm not sure if this is typical, but the driver picked up the car on Tuesday and delivered it all the way across the country on Saturday. I believe it was the last of the cars to be added to the transport, but still, that is an extremely fast turnaround! The driver got as close as possible to my building to pick up and did the same upon delivery to my brother. I would highly recommend them! Price included a $100 discount for Angie's List members.

Called on a Friday 4/20/2018 early AM, car was picked up in South Carolina on Saturday morning, arrived in Illinois by noon on Monday 4/23/2018. Cannot ask for any quicker service. Service was for an open car carrier.

Transport was easy to set up. A little more than we wanted to pay but you get what you pay for. Driver was prompt and very polite. Delivery was as planned and on time. Very professional. We will definitely use United Freight of America again in the future.

Auto was picked up and delivered on the days we were told. Driver made an accurate record of the condition of the car when it was picked up and it was delivered in the same condition. Professional service at all times.

I was very happy with the job done by United Freight. I needed my car shipped from Massachusetts to California. United Freight did a great job. They gave me a smaller pickup window than other carriers I contacted (three days, rather than five), the transport took only seven days, and their price was fully competitive. The pickup and drop off were quick and drama free, and aside from being incredibly dirty (which was to be expected after seven days on the road during winter storms) my car was returned to me in the same condition as when they picked it up. They were also extremely responsive, answering all of my questions quickly and fully. I would definitely hire United Freight again, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to ship a car cross-country.

Generally, okay. We rated it down because we had difficulty communicating about which day the car could be picked up. Although we received an email about the projected date, we wanted to contact the driver to provide an alternative if we were not present. It took four calls at four different numbers, and an email to get to someone who could tell us. Another issue is that the driver wanted $100 more than the guaranteed price. The driver accepted our price only after we showed the contract. Otherwise, I don't know what we would have done because they needed a money order (already made out for the contract amount).

Terrible experience. Picked up car last minute and then sat in local terminal for a week. Shipped 10 days after scheduled pick up. Company told me it was the shippers responsibility they sobcontracted to let them know if it was an issue. They have to many shipments to track. They were argumentative.

Car was picked up a day before expected which worked out well. Car was delivered on the day promised.

Excellent - they were on time and all went well. This is the second time I used them and both times they were excellent.

Overall, very well. The company representative was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had all my questions answered in an honest and straight forward way. The company encouraged me to read some neutral articles about transporting a car and what to look for and what to ask. They were very helpful and not pushy like some other companies that I had contacted. The car arrived earlier than the estimated time. The condition of the car was exactly as it had been when it got loaded. I especially liked that we were able to put up to 100 pounds worth of personal belongings in the car. There was some disconnect between United Freight and the driver. I was told the car would be picked up on Monday and, since I was told it was door to door, I assumed he would be at our house. We have wide streets in our neighborhood so I did not think there would be a problem. Instead, the driver called Saturday evening, said he was picking up on Sunday morning and we were to meet him at a nearby shopping center. But the car did get delivered to the address at the other end.

They kept me up to date on pick-up and delivery. Paid $750 after $100 Angie's List coupon.

The actual driver and his wife were great, even got very close to our house to pick up (rather than having to meet in a parking lot or something.) However, the actual time and date varied, resulting in my son having to rent a car for a day or two until his arrived in Orlando. And then, the delivery was late at night in an unfamiliar area of Orlando, which was disconcerting to both me and my son!

The car was delivered to San Diego on time - the driver notified me the day before as to the time he would meet me. Perfect.

We were very pleased with the service. In the past we had many problems with this, and now we have found someone to do it every year.

Arrangements were easily made, the pick up was on time (despite some bad weather), and a creative solution for pickup in Florida allowed the vehicle to be collected even though we had not yet arrived.
