Auto Transport - United Freight Of America

UFA did a wonderful job. We are active duty military and move often, but have never moved a car. I began researching how to do it and was overwhelmed with phone calls and emails with these complicated bids. I talked to a number of people, none of whom I felt good about. When I talked to UFA they explained the whole process were very patient and made me feel secure about the entire process. I especially felt great that they have their own drivers. Their price was right in line with the other companies and maybe just a little less. When my car was picked up, the guy that came was so helpful and professional. He explained that he always does this same route and gave me a number to call to contact him along the way. I never called him, but he texted and called to keep me up to date about where he was and when he would arrive. He even brought the car to my in-laws house because we were not in the area yet. My car was in perfect condition and made it to the area before I did. Moving is a difficult process and UFA made this one thing I did not need to worry about. I was beyond pleased with this company.

Guy was very helpful with the whole process, but the pickup window was too long (4 days) and the pickup was late (day 5). I was leaving town and had to ask a neighbor to handle the pickup. I also was not given any indication of when the pickup was to take place until just a few hours ahead, despite my calls to Guy for more information. This process made it very stressful.

I could not be happier with United Freight of America. In one call they were able to procure a shipping company to pick-up my car within the timeframe requested. Communication was great and they shipping company they contracted with could not be better. Very communicate. I felt like I was in excellent hands all the way. some mis-communication, but the car arrived safely.

Transport driver was very helpful. I was out of state, but he was able to start my car which was in a storage locker. He had difficulty opening the hood to attach the battery terminal, but I guided him through by phone and he was able to do it. Very happy with the service!

All went well. Our car was loaded into an enclosed trailer. The driver was considerate & efficient. Our car arrived as scheduled without incident. I happily recommend United Freight of America.

Paid $250 extra for a guaranteed 3 day window for pick up and a 2-4 day delivery. Communication prior to pick were left entirely up to the client, but United did what they said they would do and provided info when asked. The driver responded to calls & flexible & delivered the car in good condition, as promised.

Excellent, from the dispatcher to the driver, were professional and very attentive to our scheduling needs. Picked up and delivered as stated on time and where it was most convenient for us.

It went well. The car showed up in the same condition that it left Chicago. Some communication issues with the driver, however, it was over the holidays and that may have had something to do with it. Overall a good experience and they did what they said that they would do. Would use again.

Initially, a couple of days late due to heat and truck failure but the driver made up for it and took good care of bith vehicles.

The people I spoke with on the phone were very responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions. They were very helpful and I felt good about shipping my car with them after I hung up the phone. The man who actually transported our car was very personable and I felt like he was an honest person. He said he wasn’t the fastest transporter but he was very careful with the cars which was fine with me. He was correct in both regards. The car arrived a little later than we had originally talked about but in the car transport business that is to be expected. Our car did arrive without a scratch on it, so I we were pleased.

Really well. Complex arrangements. Separate pickup dates and delivery dates for each auto. Last minute change required due to timing. Different drop off locations. All arranged and followed through with great attention and care.

It was a rewarding experience. I met drivers Jerome and James and they knew I was very nervous and unsafe about someone else in my van to transport it. They reassured me that it will be in safe hands. They kept in constant contact with me and informed me that there was a delay due to traffic on the roads. Instead of them coming to my home for pickup, I met them at a shopping center where they had room enough to load our vehicle safely. I knew they were on the road for a long time so when I met them, I gave them bottles of cold water as a courtesy. Random acts of kindness does help. :-) Their arrival time was on point. They were down to earth, pleasant guys. Note; no one is paying me to say this. They earned my trust. These days, you always hear of customer complaints. I myself give credit where credit is due. The entire process was flawless and timely. The drivers gave sufficient information as to pick up and drop off time, They appeared to be concerned and conscientious regarding the transport. I was pleased with the transport team and would use them again without a doubt. Can't say enough about how pleased I am regarding the service.

It went great. My car arrived in Los Angeles before I did which saved me from having to get a rental. The transport driver put my car in a covered parking lot and hid my key. I picked up my car, and then wired the balance that I owed. I was impressed with their trust.

Everything went exactly as planned.
