had installed by Calhoun years ago. also called the saturday after hurricane Milton, since 17 inches of rain left the pumphouse in standing water and just running our pump wasn't going to cut it. came out the next morning on a sunday and pumped everything out. couldn't be more pleased.

This Company is a Father and Son team. The father I imagine is soon to be or is retired. His Son Jay-Jay is now Mr. Calhoun. I am a retired Combat Vet and in these days of mis-trust and what really is your motive, is it genuine is it a sales pitch can I trust you? My family and I just bought our first home We have 4 teenage daughters and had to rent a Port O Potty for the time our septic tank was down. Jay Jay was there for us he always returned my calls informed me of the progress and kept his word to me. Also realize this it was over the Labor Day weekend and he had a Funeral of a Loved one to attend. I was impressed by this young guy a decent hard working person and his crew was the best also. Jay Jay is also a VET and I guess we clicked because an underlining trust was formed in our first 5 minutes of discussion and Planning. I am a City boy and know nothing of septic or lawns or anything of that sort I flush the toilet and things are supposed to go away is all I know. Jay Jay didn't take advantage of my ignorance and stood by his word. I am forever grateful to him and his crew. I have never wrote something like this for anyone but JJ and his crew deserved this. If it's a job well done that you need and need to trust someone to do it. Jay Jay Calhoun is your Man. Ps Ask him to show you his "elite" tattoo. He was punctual and came out the very next day. They found the cap right away, they pumped it out, and they were reasonably priced. They came in the morning, which was nice. They were very professional and they were cordial and knew what they were doing. They got in and out, they were there 30 to 35 minutes total. He gave us some instruction and a run down on septic systems and how they work. I would use them again.

Jay Calhoun was referred to me by my sister who had him install a septic for her about 5 years ago. I was required by my lender to submit written quotes for all contractors. I had contacted several septic contractors prior to calling Jay and either couldn't get a return call or couldn't get them to follow up with the quote I needed. I called Jay per my sister's instruction and told him what I needed and the next morning had the written quote from him. As soon as we closed on our loan he applied for our permit and made several trips to the county to get the site plan right because my set-up guy gave him one that didn't show an easement. As soon as he had the permit he came out and had the work done in three days. He did a great job and he was very patient with us. Our building permit got held up and therefore our draw was delayed. He was great and didn't complain or get upset with us. We also had to have the septic pumped at the house where we live while we are building and James Calhoun Sr. came out and took care of that for us. Looks like our landlords are going to have to have the drainfield redone and we are going to encourage them to use the Calhouns. They are just all around great people and they provide a great service!
