The upstairs unit was purchased in 2014 and then jury rigged to work with the older unit on the outside to accept the older coolant material. Clearly, no permit was pulled for this installation She depended on this company's expertise to protect her from issues that she did not have the experience to discover on her own. These problems have cost her thousands of dollars to fix. If these items had been identified during the inspection, she would never have purchased the townhouse. A knowledgable, competent inspector should have been able to discover all of these issues .... .At a minimum, her money for the inspection should be refunded. This was a clear example of gross negligence on the part of the inspector.
