They showed up a few minutes early which was great. They immediately determined that our system was not working since it was so old and they replaced it. They then checked all of the sprinkler heads and adjusted and replaced some as needed. They walked us through how to use the new timer. They did a great job and we are very pleased with the result.

Very well. Rafael, was the guy who turned up at the house a little earlier than expected which was good. He asked my what concerns I had and what I wanted him to look at and I told him about the cracked pipe and that I needed a general tune up with some heads raised/replaced I asked if he was OK with me watching (just curious) and he was fine with it. I was able to ask questions during the visit and he showed me where thin pipe was used and what can happen. When I later asked him how much it would cost to replace he said that since the pipe was located where it was that it should be fine and that it was not necessary to replace it unless it gets damaged. That impressed me as it meant they were not out just to make money, but were looking to provide a great service and build customer loyalty - which they certainly did. The overall price was about what I expected and I was able to ask for costs throughout. The invoice was nicely itemized, so you could see what was done. Have already recommended them in my community as they did a great job and Rafael was an asset to their company.

He arrived on time and completed the project in just one day. He was kind to our very inquisitive and curious 3-year old. After the install he spent a good amount of time explaining the programming and rain gauge. I feel very confident that if we have any issues or concerns that he will be there for us.

Both Steve and his co-worker were very professional, worked quickly, answered questions, and explained what they were doing and why. They shared tips and suggestions as they worked and helped me understand how I can most effectively make some of the simple repairs going forward. They had done some previous repairs to our irrigation system and replaced the control mechanism, so we had them give us an estimate to add a new zone to our system. They came out promptly, answered all our questions and provided an estimate by email within 24 hours. Since we had used them in the past and were very satisfied with their work we accepted the proposal. They actually arrived earlier than promised for the job and spent most of the day doing the installation. In the process of checking out our entire system they noticed a water leak and discovered a pipe that had a crack in it. They also replaced this part, charging us only for parts and a reduced labor charge since they were already here for the new zone installation. They also replaced a faulty sprinkler head for no charge. The workers were very pleasant, knowledgeable and made sure we understood how the new zone worked in our system. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Steve showed up at the scheduled time. He replaced several sections of pipe and connections. Steve tested everything before he left to ensure that the problem was fixed.

They did a great job for us and would definitely recommend them! I wasn't planning on spending as much as I did, but they corrected a lot of things that were done wrong on a poorly done system by another company. What started out as a small leak from an inlet pipe on one of the valves ended out redoing the entire valve manifold system. They were very prompt on being at our place as they said they would, they called 30 mins ahead of their arrival and Kent went through every detail with me on the suggested repair and cost before doing anything. I was giving 2 or 3 options on possible repairs to the system and wasn't pressured at all to take the more expensive option, even though I did, it was the correct option. Job well done!

Our RainBird irrigation system controller was starting to give us problems. It is 11 years old. We had previously used American Irrigation to repair a leak in our irrigation system and was impressed by their professionalism and fair price for that repair. So when our controller started having problems we called them to evaluate the problem. They responded to our call immediately and a scheduling person called later to set up the appointment. The repairmen called about an hour before our scheduled time to indicate that he was on his way. He arrived on time and immediately starting looking at our controller. Given its age and the type of intermittent problems we were experiencing, he suggested we consider a new controller and we agreed. He told us the price up front and began installation. After installation he went over the controller's functions and tested it thoroughly. He then had me go back and go through all the functions myself to make sure I understood how this model worked. He looked over all of our irrigation pop-ups and checked our watering zones. The whole process took around an hour. Very pleasant and professional technician. We would not hesitate to use them again.

The service technician showed up promptly and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He performed the services in a very timely and efficient manner and had my sprinkler system up and running in very little time. They know what they are doing and they are very reasonably priced!

they moved some old sprinkler heads and refited them to a new area , put in some drip line and they did a great job ,I gave there guys a 20 dollar tip for he worked real hard to get it done in a 3 hour time frame

I left them a vm and they responded within 20 minutes. My sprinklers had started running and wouldn't stop, so we had to turn off the outside water supply. They were pretty busy and couldn't get out here for a few days, but other people in town couldn't get out for a few weeks. They called and texted to confirm appt 24 hours prior to. Kent, my tech, called about 20 minutes before his arrival just to let me know he was on his way. WOW!!! Thank you for the reminders!! Kent, was kind, happy, and FAST!! He very quickly assessed that I had a broken valve and had it fixed in about 35 minutes. He also put my sprinkler panel back together again (we had torn it apart trying to get the sprinklers to shut down, oopsie). What an absolute pleasure it was to work with them! They also have VERY reasonable pricing. $79 for the service call and first hour of work. Extra time is billed in 15 minute increments at $20. Make sure you have the coupon ready for him!!

Well initially i called him to install only 1 sprinkler he had another person with it. and he did it in reasonable time and he also examined all of the sprinkler set it up so it irrigate properly, i have home with loan in approx 8500 sq feet. one of the corner had a irrigation problem and i want to install 1 sprinkler to fix it. but after he done so fast i request him and told if he can fix more sprinkler which i had feeling not spraying efficiently. he had all the necessary equipment and he stayed extra which i did not expected. That is really great. He is very experinced and does in very time efficient manner. I really like his service and definitely will recommend to friends.

We had just hired a landscaper to design and landscape our front yard. He suggested to get in an irrigation company to make sure all the sprinkler heads were calibrated right. I have used American Irrigation in the past and was very pleased with them. I called Tina Davis to schedule to have someone come out. She had Steve, (the owner) come out that same day. He was very informative and suggested to put in a separate drip system for our new gardens. He explained the reasoning for this and it made a lot of sense. Tina, who does the scheduling was absolutely wonderful. She coordinated installing the new drip system with the landscaper and everything went scheduled as planned, considering this is the busiest time of the year for them. Brian came out the day after the plants went in to install the new drip system. He was very well professional, well mannered and did an excellent job. He is very passionate in the work he does and it shows. He had a wealth of knowledge to pass on to us. I would definetly recommend this company. They do quality work and have always been very accommodating whenever we needed service.

Could have been more punctual, but service and professionalism was excellent. Brian went above and beyond and was helpful discussing the problem with me. Showed me how to adjust the various sprinkler heads. Worked at a fast pace, but not to the point of feeling rushed talking about the problems at hand.

If you want your sprinklers done right the first time get American Sprinkler - Steve and crew to do your job. You get what you pay for is the saying, I've learned this the hard way through many years of experience. Oh, You might find someone cheap anyone can do that but if you want any size project done and done right hire American Irrigation. I've used them many times and they are truly the best. They listen, they offer suggestions that will get your best results and they get the job done correctly. So I fully recommend Steve to do your next sprinkler job! Terrible and very shady. We asked American to come out and do an estimate of moving some sprinklers for some projects (pavers and playset) and fix some broken heads and a timer module. Not only did they charge us a service charge for the estimate (they don't do estimates), they charged me 1.5 hours labor to replace the module (which took 3 minutes). Basically, they charged me the labor on the estimate as they were here for 1.5 hours in total. It gets better as we got a quote for nearly $1,000 (in writing with notes). I was actually stupidly considering it, but had questions as it had 30+ heads to be fixed in the estimate (I do not think I even have that many heads). However, after calling, the owner, Steve Davis, showed up the next day and said he was not on the same page with the estimator and wanted to do additional estimates for the projects (stating the initial estimate was not the whole ball of wax). We were told there would be "more". Keep in mind this was all with my wife, who I feel they were trying to take advantage of. Outraged, I sent an email to them demanding an explanation of the bait and switch and the ridiculous estimate. I also wanted a breakdown of time and materials as the initial estimate was a flat amount with no details except written notes of the job. I received a long condescending email from the owner, Steve Davis, who basically told me how little I know about irrigation and in what terrible disrepair my system was in. He also stated they do not quote for time and materials (very shady). He claimed they always intended to send several estimates (why??) and the first estimate (which included things like a new rain sensor) was only for the most critical things (things I never asked for). I emailed back taking them to task and threatening a bad review on Angie's list if I got another nasty-gram. I held off intending to keep my word, until I brought Green's Sprinklers out. Kevin Green is amazing! He did all the fixing, moving and replacement in a few short hours for UNDER $400! Everything works great. After such a night and day difference, I had to write a review. American are scam artists and should be avoided at all costs!!! UPDATE TO THE RESPONSE: No false accusations. 100% truth including a $1,000 estimate that was told via email to only be the first part for work done by another company for less than $400. Please do read the review history, inlcuding the one from last May which basically says the same thing (exhorbitant prices).

Brian went above and beyond my expectations. Did a great job. Recommended what I needed for a reasonable price.was fast and clean. Also I called them in the morning and they were able to fit me for service the same afternoon when not other company I called were able to do that. Very happy with their service and would recommend to anyone.

The entire experience with American Irrigation Systems was extremely positive. I highly recommend this company. It started with me sending a message to the service provider through Angie's List. Within 5 minutes the owner, Steve, called me back and we discussed my needs and their services/pricing. He said his wife, Tina, would call me back later that evening to schedule the appointment. Within one minute of the time I hung up, Tina called me. Their service tech, Brian, was available to come out within a few days - wonderful! Right after I got off the phone with Tina, Steve called me back and thanked me for my business. I was already impressed. I especially appreciate Steve explaining up front how they typically price their jobs so we weren't in for any big surprises. Brian came out on time for our appointment and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. We had no idea how to care for our lawn at our new house and he helped us locate all the sprinklers (there were some we didn't even know we had!), fixed all the broken ones, discovered a cut wire that caused the sprinklers in the back yard to not work and then fixed that issue. All the while, he explained everything to my husband and then went on to program our Rain Bird and left a detailed schedule posted above it with our programmed watering days/times. I'm not sure if Brian is an employee or an employee and relative of this company, but he definitely treated us like he was a member of their family and we were too! Everyone we were in contact with--Steve, Tina, and Brian--all of them were outstanding. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing irrigation install repair service.

They tried but could not find the leak - we have complex rock work around the pool and their methodology did not really allow for adequate assessment. They did rule out the usual sources of leaks.

After calling around several places and getting the run around with people who were guessing what to do in order to find a water leak in my irrigation system and the potential major expense I could have incurred, I decided to call American Irrigation System and requested for an EXPERIENCED PERSON WHO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING , in order to find the water leak problem. They sent me KENT and I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED! HE WAS SO KIND, PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE! HE CAME WITH HIS VERSION OF A STETHOSCOPE AND ZOOMED IN RIGHT AWAY TO WHERE THE WATER LEAK PROBLEM WAS! I WAS ELATED AS MY WATER BILLS FOR TWO MONTHS WERE QUITE HIGH! This took no more than 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and less than 30 minutes to change out the defective valve. REMARKABLE! The part cost $ 39.00 and the service fee was $ 79.00 and he even put some waterproof caps on my exposed wires for $ 2.50. I am VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO MY NEIGHBORS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS! THANK YOU KENT FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE YOU GAVE ME ! :)

Quick, on time, efficient, and friendly. Purchased a repo home that the irrigation system was not working properly. Got it up and running, installed several new heads, valves, and rain sensor. Spent several hours on it. Very professional. Thank you.

We broke a pipe in our irrigation system while planting a bush. They were able to send someone out the next day. They let us know approximately when they would be coming, then called again when they were on their way. The technician was friendlly and quickly took care of the problem, checked out our system and left us some sprinkler heads in case that mud worked its way down the line later. Very reasonably priced service call.

The experience was easy and painless. Steve met me at my house at the time agreed to look over the problem & he emailed me an estimate that evening. The next day I called & told them to proceed with the work and they scheduled me for the following Tuesday as some rain was expected the next few days. The installer, Tony, arrived at 8am as promised & began his work which he said was going to take about 5 hrs so I went to work. About 30 minutes before finishing the job, Tony called me and told me he was finishing up so I met him at my house to go over everything he did. Tony was very courteous, professional & took the time to go into detail on everything he did and why. You can tell this company takes pride in the work they do and I will refer them to anyone I know who has a sprinkler issue or drainage problem in their yard. Companies like this are the reason Angies List is well worth the money!
