The manifold to my sprinkler system developed a leak so big that water began pooling aboveground. Great - I'm selling the house and closing is next week! I called six different companies, each fully booked 2-6 weeks out. American Irrigation Systems managed to squeeze me in much sooner than that despite their just-as-full schedule. Keith was my technician and he found the faulty valve responsible, showed it to me and explained how it caused the issue, and replaced it. End of story, right? Nope. After turning the water main back on as he was getting ready to leave, we found that I had another (undiscovered) leak somewhere else on my side of the meter. Not exactly a small one, either. I am pleased to report that instead of just saying "well, my job's done!" and heading off to his next service call, Keith stuck around and went to great lengths to try and help me fix the problem. After much searching and diagnosing, we couldn't find the leak... so he instructed me where and how to look for it, and got me scheduled for a follow-up service call for when I did. Sure enough, later that night I found the source of the second leak. Keith came back out for the follow-up call, I pointed out where I found it, and he had things squared away in no time. Thank you for your diligent approach towards solving the customer's problems.

Our 20 year old rainbird controller/timer was blowing fuses repeatedly, had new plants so needed it fixed urgently. Brett came in, was professional, got everything sorted out , I had him replace our old controller with a brand new Orbit wifi one, he replaced the solenoid, suggested to also get the valve changed, tested all zones including the drip one, walked me through it all at the end. A terrific job overall, continue to be impressed. Had previously worked and have always used Steve;s company from the old days when they used to advertise in the flyer. Very professional company.

I was very impressed. They were prompt, extremely professional and did an excellent job. They will be my Irrigation service provider from here out. I referred to my daughter who also had an excellent experience with them and will continue to use them in the future.

I called on Monday afternoon and had the system serviced by noon on Tuesday. Service was great. Joshua was on time (actually a little early) called beforehand to let me know he was on the way. Checked the system and took care of any problems.

Fantastic! The owner himself came out and completed the work. He is very professional and completed the work sooner then anticipated. Highly recommend!

I left a voicemail for the service and they called back within the hour. Our service technician Kent called ahead and was there at the start of the time the told me he could possibly be there. He was very friendly and guided us through the set up and use of our control box. He walked us through the zones and fixed any problems sprinklers. Kent was very informative and went out of his way to get his work done in a timely fashion as to not overcharge us. Overall we were very pleased with the work and professionalism of everyone we dealt with this company.

Repaired pipe and checked system since we had to pay for an hour. Found a broken head which he also repaired. Only complaint is that he didn't fill in dirt where pipe was replaced.

Brilliantly!! Steve and his assistant/wife? are responsive and efficient. They sent out two techs over two separate days due to the amount of work. I was completely happy with Kent the first tech and disappointed when another tech Kevin showed up the second day. This didn't last long. Kevin hit the ground running. I walked the system with him and had him make adjustment after adjustment and he never stopped smiling. Kent and Kevin seem to have finally put my irrigation system in full working order. Bravo!!

They called to confrim the 4 hour window and the technician called before the appointment to let me know he would be a bit early. He arrived when he said he would and I showed him where the work was. He surveyed the problem and suggested I replace the backflow preventer. I asked him what it would cost for fixing the pipe and the new preventer. He told me approximately $140.00. Now just having them come out was costing me $90 for the first hour of work. So I thought for only about $50 dollars more I could get a new preventer and have new PVC pipe. He took about 20 minutes and he was finished. When he presented me with the bill it was for $242. The itimized receipt showed the preventer was $140, plus the $90, plus the pipe to ge the $242 total. Now I understand there is miscommunication in the world but I was very clear when I aks what the total would be. I asked how much it would all cost. If I would have heard the $242 number I may still have authorized the work but since I was so clear I feel he decided to just answer part of my question because the preventer cost exactly $140. Did I need it? Maybe. Maybe not. I think the tech just tried to make the trip worth it and sold it to me but was intentionally misleading expecting me to balk at a number as big as $240. The work was done quickly and well. However, because I feel a bit taken advantage of I would not recommend this company. There are so many out there to choose from that can do a good job and be more upfront with you.

they came out promptly, figured out my system (i bought the house with it, and i didn't know much), repaired the pieces that weren't working right, changed the auto settings to match what's best for my yard, and got me going in the right direction! my dad was really impressed at the knowledge and professionalism of the technician... and that means an awful lot!

I will state up front that the technicians were very professional. However, the first technician could not locate the sprinkler valve box with the detector he had on the truck. Consequently he looked for a short in the wire within the lawn; digging three holes but could not locate the short after 1 and 1/2 hours ($135) in labor. The technician then stated he did not have a right instrument to locate the problem, but another technician did have the correct instrument. I had to reschedule for a second technician to come out 7 days later. When the second technician arrived with the correct instrument he located the sprinkler valve box and wire short within minutes, problem was immediately fixed but at the cost of another $90 in labor for the service call. I cannot fault the first technician if he did not have the right detector, but having the proper tools to locate a sprinkler valve box seems like a common task if you are in the irrigation business. Not having the correct diagnostic tool should not result in customers having to pay for multiple service calls.

Kevin was great to work with. Only took 15 minutes to locate zone valves. Replaced the faulty solenoid and checked all zones for function. Total job took less than an hour. Would definitely use this company again for irrigation repairs.

Kevin from American Irrigation arrived early to the appointment and stayed two-thirds of the day on a project that became, to say the least, challenging. Kevin solved all the issues but the broken water line very efficiently. The broken PVC line was in the worst possible place, was leaking in multiples spots and required cutting through a very large oak tree root to access. Kevin showed creativity, good problem solving skills and persistence. He has a great attitude. In the end, all worked fine. I was quite satisfied with the price considering the difficulty of the work performed.

We could not get anyone to answer the phone or return our calls. We left two voice mails with absolutely no response. Not sure where the rest of the positive reviews came from, but I would not waste my time on this company, they obviously do not care!

Steve was very professional, called to ask if he could arrive early, and very knowledgeable. He had the pipe fixed quickly and answered all our questions about the rest of our system. The broken pipe was under a gazebo and he was able to get under it with no issues. We were very pleased with the overall experience working with American Irrigation and will use them again for all our irrigation needs! Thank you, Steve!

Joshua was our technician. He did the work fine; however would. It accept our Angie's List discount. He said that we had to have a printed coupon because the company did not trust him. We showed him the coupon on our phone and explained that we told the person when we initially made the appointment that we were Angie's list member but we did not receive the discount.

Kent was on time, extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. He performed an inspection, addressed a small repair, and adjusted a few sprinkler heads. All in all an extremely pleasant experience and I wont hesitate to call them again.

Steve diagnosed the problem quickly and offered a resolution, replacing a leaking valve. When performing the replacement he suggested that I replace the other six valves because they were all the same age. This was a smart solution because when the other valves were disassembled it was obvious that they too were about to fail. In addition my shut-off value was leaking and he replaced that also. I need to have him come back because I need several of my heads replaced and he ran out of time on this visit. He re-programmed my controller and set up everything to run until he can get back to finish up the head replacements. Very professional, very knowledgeable, and proficient. Obviously I will hire him again because I have another appointment.

They were good. It cost about $136. Their price was reasonable as well. All very good. The quality of the work...the guy went above what we requested. Our few sprinklers, he checked them all. He was very polite and very friendly. Overall just very good work. He did very good work...very clean work. He patched up the grass that he dug up after he finished and everything. What he did well was he patched up the grass when he got through. He didn't leave a mess behind him. That stuck out well. I don't really know what they can do for the future. They did extremely well.

I was impressed with receiving a text the day before confirming the appointment and the prompt arrival of the tech. He was very professional and friendly. He did a great job!!
