Response from American Irrigation Systems LLC
On the first trip out Brian found the valves appeared to be cut(on purpose, odd - but if I remember right the new homeowner bought it as a forclouser and inherited all the problems) and solenoids missing off the valves, so he had to cut them all out re wire and install the 4 new pgv solenoid valves and then walk the system once he had it operational to see if there was any other damage. He moved and replaced 1 - 6" pop up by the corner of the pool cage, and the miscellaneous fittings that go along with the new valves & sprinkler head. He was there 2 hours and honored the $20.00 off Angies List coupon too, walked the system with the homeowner. Then 1 month later was called back out, now that the system was operating and had a chance to see if there was going to be any new issues with the system from being off so long, Brian went out and walked the system with the homeowner he replaced 5 - 6" pop up sprays, 1- riser with 12" and all parts that go along with those repairs, once finished walked the system with the homeowner to show what was done and that all was working at that time, was there 1.25 hours. With any system that was not taking care of for long periods of time there will be problems that crop up, it is best to keep it running at least once a week, but when a home sit empty for long periods of time issues do arise. We warranty our work, if there is a head, valve, etc that we worked on and is not operating correctly (as long as it has not been broke by other) we come out and fix. Just let us know.
