I can't say enough good things about the experience. It was obvious that Steve truly knows the business. They worked around my schedule. They returned calls promptly and, when the weather prevented them from working or they were going to be late, they quickly called to inform me and/or reschedule, if necessary. In my line of work, communication with the customer is key and they excelled. The work was performed exactly as proposed and with a high level of quality. I did not provide a rating for the price, as it's impossible to know if the price was excellent, good, etc. All I can say is that I'm extremely satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I hired American Irrigation when my water bill spiked, thinking I might have a leak. I spoke with the owner, Steve, who directed me to his wife to set up the appointment. She was very professional throughout and, the day of the service, she again contacted me several hours before my technician would be in the area. My technician (I can't believe I forgot his name, because he was a very cool guy) called when he was 20 minutes out, and actually showed up early. He was also very professional. He quickly determined that I didn't have a leak, but had some inefficient sprinkler settings and way too long timings on a couple of stations. He tightened up everything, replaced a sprinkler head that was basically pouring valuable water everywhere, and gave me some very good a irrigation advice that would save a lot of money (and grass) going forward. I think I got a lot of good work and great advice for not a whole lot of money. American Irrigation is my go-to service from now on. Kudos to the whole team.

Well it went like this a year ago I called five sprinklers guys to get five estimates and Steve was the highest I ended up going with the lowest bid and ended up calling Steve to come back and fix his mistakes which was a big mistake on my part I will recommend Steve to everyone I know he really really knows what he is doing he might be a bit more expensive but he is worth every penny

The owner called me on the morning of the installation to verify he was on his way to my house. He arrived on time and he and his workmen got right to it. They got the complete 2 zone system installed in 6 hours. He went over the system with me and showed me how to manually operate it. I especially liked that he installed a rain sensor so the system will not turn on if there has been enough rain. I am confidant that I made the right choice even though he was higher in cost than the first estimate I had received.

We’ve been using them for about 3 ½ years. They are terrific. They are fast and they are not overly expensive.

What we had contracted for was done very professionally by Brian, the worker whom we had before. He was respectful and performed the operation as we had requested. He patiently explained how to use the timer (again!). The quality of the work done has been appreciated, as well as the fair price quoted. Also, my husband and I especially valued the punctuality, the respect and the professionalism of all concerned, including Terri , in the office, who answered my questions patiently by phone and e-mail. We're looking forward to working with them again soon.

Quick response I thought I needed a new rain tree unit and it turned out I just had a loose wire! He fixed a half dozen broken heads and tuned up the system

I had a sprinkler zone that had started leaking over the weekend. I was not able to located the irrigation system shutoff valve. I called Monday morning and spoke to Steve Davis. He explained that he and all his technicians were currently busy on jobs. He attempted to assist me over the phone to locate the shutoff, but we were unable to locate it. He had his wife contact me to lwt me know as soon as a technician was available they would let me know. They called approximately 2pm and said they had a technician available, but he was about an hour away. I requested that they please send him. Brian Watts showed up approximately 1 hour later. Brian was very professional and very friendly. He immediately got busy trying to locate the shutoff valve for the irrigation system. It took us about half an hour to locate the shutoff, because the grass had grown over the access. I had Brain replace all 3 solenoid valves in that particular box on the irrigation system. Them he inspected the entire system and recommended which sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced. It didn't take near as long as I thought it would and he even checked the timer setup. I was definitely please with the work. I will use them in the future for my irrigation system. And I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Better than I could have ever hoped for. Started out by showing up on time for the estimate. When I asked him how he handled deposits to get the job started he said, and I quote; "Deposits? You don't pay me a dime until I turn on your completed system and your 100% satisfied. From there it was uphill believe it or not. Tina, Steve's wife, handles all appts. and coordinated everything perfectly. We were putting in new beds and grass as well so the project dragged out for about a month. No issues with Steve. He came back just like he said he would when I called to tell him the beds had finally been installed. This is a hands on owner and a really great guy. I highly recommend their service to anyone and will absolutely use them again should the need arise.

Great job. Had to move my current irrigation ditch . They did all the right things sock rocks additional sock on pipe. Put it all back together w sod so you didn't even know it was worked on. Professional and on time.

My Irrigation system got all fixed from the leak I had. It was a module and 2 broken heads. Plus, they replaced 3 other heads, and 4 nozzles. All 8 zones were checked and some heads were moved and some just cleaned. The company was here about 2.5 hours and the bill was $298 - $20 Angie's List Coupon = $278. Fair price for all the work they did. Trying to schedule them, or any of the 5 other irrigation companies I called, was a pain. All of the irrigation companies seemed to booked for weeks this time of year. They 'fit me in' one afternoon and I came home a little early to be there. The guy showed up about an hour later than expected, but the previous job took longer... as did mine so I totally understand. The guy that came knew what he was doing. Although when it came time to move some heads, his idea of where they should go was kinda a** backwards because they wouldn't be hidden away. Then he was talking about digging up a couple of my plants. I had to get him to think outside the box, to come up with a better solution. Also, he was quite verbose. I happened to be in the yard working my garden while he was there. I wished he'd quit talking. Just shut up and work. Then he noticed my FSU flags and said he was a F* fan. I was thinking that's the quickest way to get thrown off my property saying something stupid like that. Then he said he would be nice and not charge me an FSU premium. I told him I was a 2-time graduate of FSU, a FSU football season ticket holder, a Seminole Booster, and Lifetime Member of the FSU Alumni Association. I want F* to lose every game. Then his phone kept going off with the F* fight song. That really annoyed me and he put it in his pocket but didn't shut off the volume. The phone kept going off. I was about ready to go to my car and start playing very loudly the best college band in the land... the world renowned FSU Marching Chiefs. Obviously he didn't go to school at F* or he wouldn't be fixing sprinklers for a living... then again maybe with the crappy education you get at F*. Anyway, I was getting irritated. He finally finished and left. All in all, the work was done right and done the way I wanted. Plus, the company backs up there work with a one year warranty. I'm content.

We have an older house that of course, needs minor routine maintenance. Started having sprinkler/lawn troubles and Steve Davis was our pick of the litter. Absolutely top notch work, everything went very smoothly, and the lawn was all put back together and looked perfect when he was done. He used high quality piping and equipment.

Brian was so courteous and professional. His customers really matter to him in such a positive way that I felt confident that the work would be done right. American Irrigation is my new irrigation company.

Technicians were great, fixed the prob and even found another leak that they fixed.. I can't speak to the price because this is my first sprinkler repair, but it seemed fair... I recommend them and will use them again, but I will pay with a check this time. They take credit card info and write on the bill, I trust American, but there's too many ways CC info can be compromised. I called and they said bills are destroyed.. Once again, I will use them again, but will pay up front..

They installed a drip irrigation system at my home. The fellow showed up and he was very friendly. He went over everything with us and had the job done within 3 hours. He did make some suggestions on how we could upgrade our entire system but it was low key and no pressure at all and he was very professional.

I called a few irrigation companies, recommended by Angie's List, and Steve from American Irrigation was the first to answer, in fact within an hour. We set up an app't for the next day to give me an estimate; he arrived promptly with a helper and was most courteous. He took his time explaining exactly what would have to be done and why. He sent me an estimate via e-mail the next day. The amount was half the amount I was told by another company who came out later. We agreed on the work to be done. Brian came out and completed the work within a half-day. He was most efficient and respectful. My flower beds have never looked so good, and it's so easy! I love it! I will be calling Steve again to continue the tubing to the backyard where I have herbs, earth boxes and a Meditation Bed.

Brian gave me a courtesy call to say he was on the way and arrived promptly just a few minutes before scheduled time. He immediately started work to figure out the water source and lack of water problem. He worked tirelessly tracing the main water line barely stopping for a rest. He then methodically and diligently tested each station demonstrating his excellent knowledge of sprinkler systems. He explained in detail at every step of the way what he was doing and fixing. Several leaking pipes / broken pipes with no cap were found, defective sprinkler valves all of which Brian corrected. He got the system eventually working in all 5 stations which, considering how long ago that it was last used, I feel was a great achievement and I was very impressed. He was here for just under 4 hours - rather longer than my original 1hr service call but I feel it was all absolutely necessary to have a basic sprinkler system up and running again. Brian was courteous, knowledgeable and professional at every step of the way and showed total commitment to providing the very best of service in the limited timeline. It is refreshing to see someone applying themselves with such energy, enthusiasm, pride in work and quality. I will definitely use their services again.

I had an overall great experience with this company. Unlike other companies I called, American Irrigation answered my phone call the first time I called them and scheduled a date to come out within a couple of days of my call. They were on time for my appointment and gave me a 2 hour window -- not "morning" or "afternoon" like so many other places do. Their prices are reasonable and I received 20% off for using my Angie's List coupon. I will definitely be recommending American Irrigation Services to my friends, family and neighbors!

Overall I had a very pleasant experience with this company from the start to finish. American Irrigation answered my phone call the first time I called them and was able to answer all of my questions right then and there. From there we scheduled an appointment to look at what all needed to be done with my irrigation. They were there for the appointment right on time (actually 5 minutes early) which was reassuring right from the get go that this company was there for me. I can't stand it when I make an appointment with someone and they can't show up on time. I got to talk with Steve Davis one on one. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all my questions right there in person. From here we scheduled the work, and it was completed very quickly. 3 months later my entire irrigation system still works perfectly, and it is very reassuring to know that I can call American Irrigation at any time and they will answer my questions. I would recommend this company to everyone.

American Irrigation's motto is "Honesty, Integrity, Quality, & Service is #1". I'd say they have all of those characteristics, and you could add professionalism to the list as well. Steve, the owner, came to do the work for this particular service. We had also had Brian out some time ago to replace some sprinkler heads for us. Both times, we were incredibly impressed with the level of courtesy from Steve and Brian as well a the quality of the work done. I like the way this business is handled and will certainly use them again.

THEY CAME OUT BECAUSE THE DRIP LINE HAD BEEN SLICED SO THE BACK YARD SPRINKLERS WOULDN'T WORK. THEY FIXED THIS PROBLEM QUICKLY AND THEN DID AN INSPECTION OF MY SPRINKLERS. HE CLEANED SOME SPRINKLER HEADS AND REPLACED 2 MORE HEADS. HE ALSO FOUND THAT VERIZON HAD DAMAGED ONE OF OUR SPRINKLER PIPES FROM ANOTHER TIME THEY HAD CAME OUT.
