+ -1 moreFantastic. I did mot want mega money to repair a laptop that need to get child through last year if high school. Turned out to be a minor repair/problem and even optimized it to run better and replaced some missing screws. Mr. Reid also gave recommendations.of computers to look at for college years. Highly recommend and will use.again.

+ -1 moreAndy is as nice as he can be. He is very patient and thorough. He is quick as lightning interacting with the computer. In summary he knows everything there is to know about computers and doesn't try to oversell you anything to make a profit. The new computer was very reasonably priced and everything works perfectly. I will be back in touch with him for any of my computer needs.
Description of Work: Our hard drive on a a ten year old computer had crashed. Andy ended up coming to our house on three occasions. He determined that we needed a new computer, he recovered all of the data from the old hard drive, sold us and set up a Dell computer with 4 gb of RAM, multicore processor, 500 gb of storage, Windows 7 (which I requested over Windows 8), a brand new top-of-the-line 24" monitor, keyboard and mouse, and MS Office. He installed a variety of software programs like virus protection, automatic backup to both an external hard drive and a flash drive, and several other programs that I had on the previous computer. He also fixed a laptop that hadn't been allowing a wireless mouse to work. Finally he hooked the new computer in to our in-house wireless network that links two computers and two printer/scanners, and set it up so both computers can send jobs to either printer. In total he probably spent 3 hours or more at our house, plus whatever time he spent recovering the data. The price noted above was the total price we paid for everything, including the computer, monitor, software, and all of his time.
