I will start out by saying the guys that did the actual hard work were great. They did a fantastic job clearing my pool, filter and water lines of mud after a flood. The problem was the owner. He is volatile and unprofessional. Hey yelled at me over the phone for coiling up my cleaner hose. I didn't but even if I had, he wasn't getting paid to monitor my barracuda hose. He tried to sell me a new filter pump sytem by telling me mine wasn't big enough. It had been keeping the pool sparkling clean for as long as I lived in the house so I did not replace it. He ordered my chlorinator replaced. I didn't like the model he "recommended" and had a fit when I asked for a different one. Someone came out and changed it but the new one has never worked. The owner was so argumenative I didn't bother to follow up. I'll replace it one day but for now I just use liquid chlorine anyway. He hounded me for payment every step of the way even though he knew it was an insurance claim. He kept arguing with me about every little cost. Everything was covered by the insurance and he knew that but he kept demanding checks each step of the way. He is very explosive and offensive. I am surprised the company is still in business if this is the way he treats his customers.

They promised to do a job for a specified price. Did most of the job, but not completely. When I brought it to the attention of the owner, he became irrate and unprofessional.

I have had a wonderful experience with them. They called me right away, showed up on time, and always gets the job done. They're a family owned business that really cares about their customers. Whenever I'm out of town the same woman will call me and check with me before doing any work. They take care of my pool like they would take care of my dog and that's something I'm confident in.

He came immediately and knew exactly what to do. He took time to explain to me how to upkeep this sweeper myself and avoid service calls

To begin with, our call asking for service was returned promptly, a service call date was set and rescheduled, we were called to confirm the appointment, and the technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. The technician was very knowledgeable and we would definitely use Pool Doctor again.

I wasted more than half a day waiting for someone to turn up. They failed to keep an appointment and could not even be bothered to call me to say they were going to be delayed or to explore setting another time. What is more infuriating is that when I called to discover why no one turned up, no reason or apology was offered. If this is the kind of customer care they promote at the outset then I wouldn't trust them further down the track with my work. Beware of this outfit.

They started the project on time and completed the work in a timely fashion. The pool finish is very smooth. They cleaned up all the debris and left the pool area clean. Once the pool was filled, they came by to regulate and test the water and make sure that the pool water was correct for a whole month. They gave us instructions on how to care for our pool and keep the water clear. We felt they did an excellent job in resurfacing our pool. I have called them to repair the pump on most occasions. They are very knowledgeable and have always done a very good job. They are punctual as well. I always ask for a particular person to come out as he is very experienced in this field. My overall experience with them has been good.

I had called asking for someone to come out and give me an estimate for the work I needed, patching up some small cracks in the concrete surrounding the pool and then painting it. I was told that someone would come out in a a few days. When I asked what time the person would be here, I was told between 9 and 4. When I asked to narrow that time down because I had several other appointments, I was told to call on the day of the appointment at 10 am and ask for Jim, which I did. Jim was one of the most uncooperative people I ever talked to and refused to narrow down the time. When he finally showed up, he was unfriendly, uninformative and barely answered some of the questions we had about the job. When his estimate came, it was several hundred dollars higher than others. Maybe their work would have been good, but we had no desire to deal with a company whose representative was so unpleasant to deal with.

Wayne responded immediately the next day even during a holiday. He replaced my filter because I had a previous pool guy come out and ruined the filter. Wayne gave me his cell phone number in case I had any problems and said he would help. Very nice and professional man.

It's a good company and I'll continue to use them.

I contacted this company after my pump failed. They gave me an approximate estimate on the phone and within 24 hours sent a tech to diagnose the problem. He was very courteous and took the time to explain the needed repairs in detail. After the work was finished I noticed some noise and bubbles released by the pop-up sweeping system. I contacted them a few days later and they sent an employee the same day who promptly solved an air leak. This company is very responsive and easy to work with. The office staff is very nice and you always speak to a person not a voice mail.

The coping around the pool was installed very professionals. The pavers were placed in a barely acceptable manner. The pool was acid washed prior to refilling. This caused the bottom of the pool to become exceedingly (and unacceptably) rough--not just a little rough. The company refused to do anything to correct this condition.

He was a younger guy, but he really knew what he doing.

I was very impressed. I don't pick the low bidder, so I expect good results from the contractors I use to work on my home. Everyone I dealt with was thoroughly professional. I stayed home to monitor the work, which took only four days to finish. They drained the pool, chipped out the problem areas in the old marcite, and patched them the first day. I don't stand over them to watch, just look outside frequently, and you can tell when someone is doing a good job. They stand back frequently to look, and many times go back for just a little additional attention before moving on. They had a plenty of people there to mix and spread the new Hydrazzo around and smooth it out. They all stayed busy and worked hard. During the entire process, they were very patient with me asking questions and telling me what we had to do. The finished pool looks great. The included service to get the new water in balance for the first month is a great approach. I highly recommend this company.

THE SALESMAN WAS COURTEOUS. THE WORKERS ARRIVED ON TIME, SPENT SEVERAL DAYS PREPARING TO REPLACE TILES. REMASTING TOOK TWO DAYS. THEY REFILLED POOL, PUT IN CHEMICALS & RETURNED SEVERAL TIMES TO TEST THE WATER.

POOL LOOKS GREAT. ALL THE EMPLOYEES WHO CAME TO OUR HOME WERE HELPFUL AND POLITE. WE THOUGHT THERE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER COMMUNICATION ABOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS. SOME MINOR TRASH AND SPILLS OF GROUT WERE NOT CLEANED UP. THE ONE MONTH POOL MAINTENANCE SERVICE TO GET EVERYTHING BALANCED WAS A DEFINITE PLUS.

OVERALL DECENT WORK, BUT THEY WERE SLOW TO START, SLOW IN DOING THE WORK, I HAD TO COME FROM CONNECTICUT TO CHASE AFTER THEM. STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO CORRECT ISSUES WITH THE JOB. WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.

CAME AND RECAULKED POOL BUT WERE VERY MESSY (CAULKING MATERIAL SPILLED TO FLOOR OF PPOL AND ON TILE) AND DID NOT STOP LEAK. CAULKING WAS LOOSE AND NOT PROFESSIONALY DONE.
